Hi. I’m Jake! Jake the dog. Jake the adorable and hilarious wonderdog. What kind of dog you ask? Well, as you can see, I am a handsome Doxie mix of some sort! At 8 years old and 20 lbs, I am a plushy and lovable guy with a big heart. Though it takes me a second to warm up, all you have to do is break out the squeaky toys or some yummy hotdogs, and I quickly blossom! Speaking of toys, I just love playing fetch! I am still learning the drop it part, but the Pixie gals are teaching me all about it. They say I am a sharp cookie who is a quick learner. I am pretty food motivated of course, so it makes it that much easier—and more fun! I do enjoy my walks with the volunteers, though the traffic downtown can still be a little much for me. Thus, I would do best in an adult only owned home in a lower traffic area. I was with a single owner all my life and she unfortunately passed away, so I am really looking to be someone’s special companion again! I met the office kitty at Pixie and was very appropriate, so a dog savvy cat in the home would be just fine. Since I haven’t been around a lot of doggies, I like being your shining star and only dog in the home. Silly, cute, and eager to bond, I am ready to meet my new family today! Hi there! I’m June but everyone calls me Junebug. My foster mom calls me J-Bugs or Little Bugger. I am a one year old 7 pound Yorkie mix with the sweetest face you will ever see. I love hanging out with my older foster brother, Pops. I’m a pretty shy gal and he really helps me with my confidence. I’d like to have someone like him in my forever home. Being the bashful and sensitive lady that I am, it takes a bit for me to warm up to people. Though it will take some time, I eventually will come out of my shell and will sneak up on you while you are watching tv and give you surprise kisses! Buongiorno! Aren’t I one handsome Italian Stallion?! My name is Stefano and an itty bitty 3 month old Italian Greyhound pup! Break out the beads and turn up the jazz, because this Mardi Gras is going to twice as fun with me by your side! The name is Jambalaya, but don’t let that name fool you. I’m not spicy at all. Except when I am playing with my toys-hehe! In fact, I am so sweet you might as well call me beignet! At 7 years young, I am an adorable 11 lb Chihuahua who is all about being chill. In fact, I’m sometimes known as Little Easy since I am a bite sized pup whose favorite activity is napping. But I still have some party left in me too! It can take a second for me to warm up, but once I do, I am a cuddling fool! I am not a fan of the busy downtown streets like Bourbon St., but instead I love me those quiet areas that only us locals know about! They have the best jazz clubs after all.
