I’m David S Pumpkins! I’m a big mush and word on the street is that I’m the sweetest, most loveable cat around. At 10 years old, I’m about as mellow as you would expect me to be. Though feeding time is probably my favorite time of day, my close second is when he I to cuddle on the couch with my humans. I love chin scratches and will frequently flop over onto my back in the hopes that I will entice you into giving me a belly rub! I’m a social butterfly, and am always happy to be wherever you are in your home. If you’re cooking in the kitchen, I’ll be sitting nearby to keep you company and if you’re working from home in the office, I would love to have a chair nearby so I can sleep near you. I’m pretty good with meeting new people and will often flop over and offer the big orange fuzz once I’m comfortable. Even though I’m mostly a couch potato, I can definitely get playful and love to chase dangly toys, sparkly balls and strings! I’m also a fan of the ‘nip, and will get a little wild if you give me some.  Watching birds is another favorite pass-time, and sometimes I’ll chase them back and forth through the glass! That’s about all the outdoors I need, though, as I’m used to living totally indoors and as long as I’ve got some space to roam around inside, I’m perfectly happy staying indoors forever. I’m a sizeable kitty who was almost 30 whole pounds when I came to Pixie, believe it or not! My fosters have worked hard to get me down to a healthier weight, and now I’m just over 20lbs, which is closer to ideal for me. I will definitely need to have my weight watched in my forever home and will just need to stick to a portioned diet to make sure I don’t get obese again. That being said, I am a healthy kitty with no special needs or medical conditions at this time, and Pixie is providing a dental for me to make sure my teeth are clean and good to go! I’m used to a quieter home, though I have experience living (and cuddling with!) older children and am a truly gentle giant. I am also used to being the only pet in the house, and don’t have any interest in sharing my space with other kitties. Bonjour! Je M’appelle Gigi! Totally adorable and weighing just around the size of a croissant, I am a tiny 10 yo Chihuahua at just 4lbs. Fancy is my middle name and I take great pride in knowing all the latest fashion styles coming out of Paris. Though it can be a challenge to find things in my size, it’s not hard for me to look cute in absolutely everything! Everyone I meet says that I am a complete angel-and they aren’t lying! I am very sweet and affectionate gal who knows what I want and am happy to communicate that to you. Willy (beauty mark on lip) and Cassie (pink, patchy nose) are an adorable, fun pair of bonded kitties who would love to liven up your life! These silly teenagers are not bio siblings, but became fast friends in foster and absolutely love to romp around, snuggle and wrestle the day away. Willy is about 1&1/2 years old and is a bit of a shy guy, often taking time to warm up to new people and learning how to be confident. His bff Cassie, a 9-month-old lady kitty, really helps him feel more comfortable and is the total opposite — she’s a bold, outgoing girl who LOVES to play and will often curl up in a lap. Willy is also very playful, and can’t resist a string toy! The two will often wrestle and chase each other around the house, which is just too fun to watch! Though Willy is shy at times, he enjoys being where his people are and will come out to investigate when new people come over. He will likely take some time to feel fully comfortable in a new home, and would do best in a quieter, adult-only home, though he is very gentle. Cassie is incredibly social, and follows you wherever you go! They’ll also cuddle up or groom each other at times. and are both well behaved and easily trained. They learned very quickly that they get to walk on some furniture, but not counters or desks. Because they are such young, active kitties, they’d probably do best in a larger space where they have room to explore, play and act like the teenagers they are without being destructive. That being said, both are used to living entirely indoors and would be absolutely happy to stay that way. They are both used to living around other cats and are very respectful and open to sharing their space with friendly felines, and they do need to go home together.
