We’re so grateful to everyone at Mercedes-Benz of Wilsonville for their generous support of the Pixie Project! Their hard work and passion for animals makes a world of difference. In December, they made a donation for every vehicle sold’”for a total of $14,000! This amazing donation will allow us to find great homes for rescued dogs in need.
Hi guys! My name is Rudy! Or like my Pixie friends like to call me “Regular Sized Rudy” after my favorite show Bob’s Burgers. I am a 2 year old beagle mix just looking for a lap to snuggle on and LOTS of walks in the great outdoors! As you can see in my video, I thoroughly enjoy a nice walk in the sunshine and I am just oh so good at it. I’m also smart and a very fast learner…as long as you have some treats to help me out that is! I don’t mind hanging out with my other doggy pals at Pixie. But I need to be in a no kid or cat household, so I can be the star of your life! I am just a young lad looking for my human companion to lounge on the couch with and give me lots of belly rubs after a nice long hike. Is that person you?! Then fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $250.
Happy holidays everyone! In observance of the festivities Pixie Project will be closed the follow days:
Friday December 25th
Saturday December 26th
Thursday December 31st
Friday January 1st
Don’t worry, the animals in our care will continue getting pampered by the staff and volunteers. If you are looking for your own pet to pamper check out all of our animals available for adoption or email us at info@pixieproject.org!
THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT MEGAN AT EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION
Lucky is about 1 year old and is very sweet. She’s potty trained and will follow anyone around the house. She is good with other dogs, but doesn’t get along with cats or smaller animals such as guinea pigs or rabbits. She has a lot of energy and is very playful. I think she would make some very happy who doesn’t have cats and possibly has a yard or something that she can run around. My number is 541-816-8313

– $10,000 Grant Will Enhance Pixie’s Veterinary Assistance Program –
Portland, OR (June 26, 2015) The Pixie Project announced today that they received a $10,000 grant from the Banfield Charitable Trust. The funds from this grant will be used to enhance the Pixie Project’s Veterinary Assistance Program.
In addition to their work as an animal rescue and adoption center, the Pixie Project provides affordable veterinary services to Portland’s low-income and homeless residents at the Scott Wainner Pixie Care Clinic. This grant will help to ensure that the Pixie Project can continue to provide these services to those who need them most. Grant funding will help to cover to cost of veterinarians and veterinary technicians, the cost of surgical supplies, and medications.
This is the second year that Pixie has been awarded a grant from the Banfield Charitable Trust. In 2014, the Pixie Project was awarded a $7,500 grant from the Trust for veterinary services, allowing Pixie to treat a wide variety of pets for low-income clients, including mass removals, amputations, dental cleanings and extractions, and other surgeries. This year’s grant will allow Pixie to continue to expand the number of pets that we can assist in our clinic.
‘œWe are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Banfield Charitable Trust. Last year we were able to do amazing work with the Trust’s help, and we know this year’s grant will make an even bigger impact in the lives of Portland pets,’ says Amy Sacks, the Pixie Project’s Executive Director. ‘œAt Pixie, we want to do everything we can to keep animals in their homes with their dedicated owners. By performing these surgeries, we’re helping people keep their pets with them rather than surrendering them to an over-crowded shelter.’
The Pixie Project offers support for local over-crowded under-funded county shelters by bringing animals into Pixie’s family friendly adoption center and matching them with forever families. Pixie also offers low-cost veterinary services including spay and neuter surgeries for the pets of Portland homeless and low-income residents.
