-THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT   THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

Hi there. My name is Scully. I am about two years old and I just spent a lovely summer on the streets of Southeast Portland. I really enjoyed my freedom in the warm sunshine and feasting off the kindness of strangers for a few months, but when it started getting cold and wet outside one of the neighbors felt sorry for me and took me in.
The humans are great. I can’t ever give or get too much love from the human grown ups and kids in my new family. I want to snuggle and give kisses all the day long, and I get so happy when I am getting love from my humans that I drool a little, which is kind of embarrassing.
The dog is ok, too – she knows she can’t mess with me because I am street wise, so she respects my space.   I really can’t stand the other cat in the house, though, so I am doing my best to antagonize him in the hope that he disappears. Or maybe I can move to a home with people and possibly dogs, but no other cats.
Aside from the problem with the other cat, I have been a really great family member. I love being held by kids and grown ups alike. Not to brag, but everyone who meets me falls in love. I am litter box trained, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, FIP/FIV negative, and can be either an indoor only or indoor-outdoor cat.   I am recovering from skin problems from a flea allergy from my days on the streets, but you would never guess it from my luxurious, thick fur.
My humans are sad because I have to live in the bathroom so I don’t mess with the other cat, and they know I am lonely in here. They are looking for a nice family for me with no other cats. They will send my toys, treats, bowls, litter box and some food to my new home with me. Please save me from this lonely existence and I will repay you tenfold with kitty love!

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact ELEVI1@msn.com.

Super Soft, Long Haired, Kitty Looking for New Companion
Independent and loving older girl with a fancy pants attitude would like to be the only pet in a loving home.   She’s accustomed to a quiet house but is fine with visiting friends and pets.   She’s 10 years old, spayed, good manners and is happy indoors and out.   I wouldn’t be rehoming her but now have ongoing travel and am away too often.

THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE! THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT COLIN AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

I’m looking for a new home for my dog Clyde. He is a 4-5 year old lab/hound mix and weighs about 65lbs. I adopted Clyde from the Oregon Humane Society in Portland this past January. He is gentle but very strong and watch out for his happy tail, when it gets going it can hurt. Clyde has many of the traits of a hound besides his good looks. He is alert, adventurous, and energetic. He just keeps going and going and going. He loves being outside following his nose and chasing most anything that moves, birds, squirrels, and especially cats. To my surprise is does swim quite well. He likes and is playful with other dogs but eventually does his own thing. He is also one of the best couch potatoes I ever had the pleasure of sharing a couch with.   He is very well housed trained!

Clyde loves to be around people the most, he is happiest lounging, follow someone around the house or yard, or going for a walk. He does have a high level of anxiety when left alone and when riding in a car.   He is normally not destructive when left in the house, only when he is isolated in a small room or crate.   He normally only voices his frustration vocally with whining, barking and howling. I am currently working with a veterinarian trying ways to reduce his anxiety through understanding, training and medication.

Clyde loves going for walks and long runs. Yep, I am a distance runner and Clyde has joined me on runs as long as 13 miles!! And he still has energy to play, I just have to watch his paws for soreness and abrasions. He has gotten better on leash and I have used a gentle leader on him in places of heavy distraction and on our runs. He gets excited every time I put my shoes on.   He is in wonderful health, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

I feel Clyde would do well in a home when someone is around most of the day. He has done well at doggie daycare, but I have been unable to use it more because I normally start work before the daycares open. He gets upset with kennels when he is isolated in a room or crate. We have boarded him for multiple days with local dog sitters that care for him at their home. He would love a yard to explore and take care of business, but has gotten use to doing his business on a leash too.

If you think Clyde would be good fit in your home,  contact Colin at pctcumbo@gmail.com or 503-726-8809

Who is that cute little nut? It’s me, Cashew! As indicated by my adorable fuzzy ears, I am a super cute 4 year old Westie mix weighing in at 19lbs. Though I was a bit shy at first, I am really coming out of my shell and have become quite the charmer! I’m more of a snuggler than anything and really just want a nice warm lap to get comfy in. I’m a great walker and love to go on my daily afternoon stroll and then hurry up inside from the snow and warm up in front of the fireplace! I have made a few puppy pals here at Pixie, but dog parks would be a little to overwhelming for me. I tend to be a little too interested in playing with those kitties, so none in my home please. But I love to hang with my human friends over 10! I am just a loving guy looking for a quiet low key home that is owned by my adopters, as we relax the night away watching some Netflix. Sound like your ideal day too? Then fill out an application, so we can meet! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $300.

Oh so handsome. Oh so funny. Oh so sweet. Oh so me! Hi everyone. My name is Oso and I am a 4 year old Lab/Akita mix weighing in at 85lbs. I am big oaf with lots of love to give! I can sometimes be a bit bashful, but with a few treats and a few pets, I am oh so happy to be around you! Believe it or not, I am used to being out in the rural country on a farm with lots of different animals and people over the age of 10. The commotion of this big city is a bit too much for me and I would just love to go back to my roots of being in a more rural area or even just a quiet neighborhood with lots of space for me to run and play fetch! Which is my favorite activity by the way. I can’t get enough of some ball time! With my past farm experience, I am used to being around all kinds of livestock, cats, and other pups too! I am also very smart and know basic obedience and am already housebroken. Overall, I am the whole package-brains, brawn, and beauty! Are you oh so ready to add me to your life?! Then fill out an application today, so we can meet. I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.

Unfortunately, ODR, Inc. is over-full and cannot take her in. If you or anyone you know can help, please share this email or contact their current caretaker,  Pati  at  (503) 318-2411 or  stampfx@gmail.com Thank you!

THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT ALI AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Skitters is a 15-year-old Dachshund that was surrendered a few days ago. He has lived with the same owner his whole life, the reason for surrendering him was because the owner determined she is allergic to him and he has spent the last three years outside due to this. He is a very sweet old boy. He allows you to handle him and it was reported that he does well with cats, dogs, and older children. Smaller children may be too much for this old boy. We have not put him through an assessment as of yet. He does have chronic dry eye, dental disease, and a small mass on the left side of the body.

Unfortunately, ODR, Inc. is over-full and cannot take him in. If you or anyone you know can help, please share this email or contact Ali Randall at the Humane Society of Central Oregon at  541 382-3537  or via  www.hsco.org. Thank you!
