–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON PHYLLIS, PLEASE REACH OUT TO NW NEIGHBORHOOD VET AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Phyllis is a 10 year old torbie who has the sweetest personality. She loves to cuddle, but she will also tell you about her day. Her last home gave her up because she was too chatty for them.  Phyllis is on a special diet for her hyperthyroidism and can not be fed anything else. Phyllis is playful and funny as well, and has the softest fur.  Has a funny drinking habit too — she puts her paw in the water and scoops it up to drink. She should be the only cat in the home,  but she has happily lived with dogs. Recent blood work showed she is otherwise a picture of health!

If you are interested in meeting Phyllis, please contact NW Neighborhood Vet at 503-227-6047.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ABOUT MOLLY, PLEASE CONTACT BEST FRIENDS FRIENDS OF BAKER RESCUE AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Molly Thumbelina is a young, healthy, beautiful, outgoing, affectionate, silly, spayed, indoor-only, polydactyl girl around 2-years-old. Loves people, great with kids, and coexists peacefully with calm dogs that respect her space. But she cannot tolerate other cats! Her polydactyl toes look like adorable little mittens, and she has the softest fur you’ll ever feel. Molly is a great catch and many people have inquired about her, but no one who can accommodate her need to be the only cat.

Molly is in foster care in Baker City, Oregon, through Best Friends of Baker, Inc. You can inquire about her by phone (703-376-7997), and you can find their adoption application here:

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON FRANKLIN, PLEASE CONTACT KYRA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

“Franklin” was found as a stray about 6 months ago. He instantly displayed a desire to be pet and held, despite his unfavorable condition. He had a severe ear infection and needed surgery on his ear which left him with a slight head tilt and that true curious cat look. Franklin is approximately one year old and has been fixed. He is a very healthy cat aside from a chronic skin allergy that requires an oral medication once every day or two. What has been working for him is called Atopica, and with a rebate through his current Dermatologist, is $90 and lasts around two and a half months. He is very tolerant and takes the medication with no struggles. He truly amazes everyone he meets with how sweet and tolerant he is. Franklin was most likely someone’s cat at some point given his loving, social nature but was not chipped and sadly never claimed. While in my care he has proven to be great with other cats, dogs of any size, and children, so he would do well in a home with other animals or alone. He is litter trained and will go in a covered or uncovered litter box, and uses a rope scratching post. He has never had any issues with clawing, chewing or biting.

If you’re interested in Franklin, please call or text 503-890-0172. I will only give him to someone who is able to continue his medication but I promise, he makes it all worth it!

Do you know those awesome and adventurous retired folks that go skydiving and bungee jumping, and lots of other thrill seeking things? Age is just a number right?! Well, that’s what I say anyways. My name is Jimmy and I am a 10 years young Boston Terrier mix weighing in at 13lbs. Like my foster says, I can’t quite decide if I am an old man or young whippersnapper. I love to snuggle, get attention, and overall am a pretty mellow fella! But sometimes I like to get spunky and go for walks or nuzzle my toys, trying to figure out how to play with them. I would be definitely down to join you on a beach adventure or even a short hike in Forest Park! I am eager to greet everyone I meet out in the world and am a super social guy who would happy to live with kiddos over 12. I am an excellent lad in play groups and would be happy to hang out with some doggies friends in my home. For being 10, I am in pretty good health and have already had my routine dental! I am on a daily cheap hypothyroid medication that I will need for life. Overall, I am an energetic, curious, and terrific lapdog ready to live life to it’s fullest with a new family. Fill out an application today and we can set up a meet! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, neutered with an up to date dental & bloodwork, and an adoption fee of $350.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ABOUT MOXIE, PLEASE CONTACT SHEMBI AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Moxie started out as a feral kitten found in a wood pile in Albuquerque, NM. By the time she was rescued she was the only one of her litter that survived so she is a little shy at first but she loves to cuddle so she warms up fast.

She is now 9 years old and is a healthy and incredibly sweet cat. She is still very playful and likes to pick things up with both paws and fling them into the air. She is fine with other cats or dogs, however, she does seem to be more herself when she is the only cat (less shy). She is an indoor cat and loves to sit on your lap or in a window to watch birds.

We are very sad to have to give her up but we are moving abroad mid December and cannot bring her with us. She really deserves a forever home.

For more information (or to find out the funny story on how she got her name) please call or text Shembi at 213-880-6295.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON DAPHNE, PLEASE CONTACT HER OWNER AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Daphne is a sweet 8-year old girl, with colors like a fall sunset. She takes time to warm up to you, but when she does she will fall in love forever! She may be shy but she is always sweet. Daphne loves to snuggle while you watch tv or sleep, and if she really likes you she will let you pet her tummy! I first got her from the humane society after she was abandoned at a kennel. Currently i am unable to care for her due to illness, and am eager for her to find a loving forever home.

She has been an only cat and has never been around dogs, so will need special introduction to any other animals in the home. My hope is that you can spend time with us and get to know her before adopting her.

She is up to date on vaccinations, is chipped, and indoor only (and may try to sneak out!). Currently eating purina cat chow natural and whiskas packets and loves temptations.

For more information, please call or text Lane at 503-523-6211

October 14th, 2019

Hi! My name is Nugget and I am a super sweet 11 year old Poodle/Doxie mix weighing around 13lbs. I am a happy girl with an affinity for belly rubs, wet food and crunchy treats, even though I technically only have my back teeth left. On cold and rainy days, I am much more into snuggling and cuddling, but when the sun is out, I am happy to go on an afternoon stroll around the park! I am used to be in a low key and quiet home, and I would enjoy keeping it that way. Though, I am very social and enjoy hanging out with other mellow doggies and kitties too! But people are what I like hanging out with the most and enjoying meeting new friends over 10. I am in excellent health as I had great care all my life! Overall, I am great companion not to mention super cute, and a good listener who is ready to snuggle up under the blankets with you today! Fill out an application, so we can meet and get our cuddle on! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed with a routine dental and bloodwork with an adoption fee of $350.
