THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT SAMIRA AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

JoJo:
Orange cats are known for being loving, cuddly, and talkative. I did not know this until I met JoJo and said, ‘œThis is the best cat I have ever met’ and was promptly told that no one is surprised. He sleeps on top (or at least touching) my husband and I every night, greets us at the door by talking and plopping over to show his back, and loves being near us almost at all times. He can lay back and do his own thing and is accustomed to long working schedules but makes sure you know he missed you at the end of the day. He is overall the sweetest, most easy-going, gentleman cat I have ever met. He has lived with my husband and I for years but his history states he lived in a house with dogs and children and got along great with all of them. He was friendly and calm with any guests we had, including our young nieces. JoJo has hyperthyroidism and does need a medication once daily. He is currently taking a liquid, chicken flavored dose and is easy to med. He has no other health concerns.

Eliot:
Eliot is a sweet lady and loves pets and attention. She purrs like a passing truck and talks loudly near mealtime. She has a funny personality and she loves chasing. Strings, food, and pets from her people are her favorite things. She also loves high places. Her previous home included many cats and 2 dogs and it was reported that she was intimidated by the constant noise and her living companions. She may not do as well with a rowdy home or with aggressive animals. She did very well when our young nieces and any other guests came to visit and harassed them often for loves. She is not well suited to be an outdoor cat. She loves the indoor life as long as there is a high place and consistent food. She did escape once this year and we concluded she doesn’t know to come inside after she has been out. She has hyperthyroidism. The medication we give her is chicken flavored, once daily and she does great for that. She has a funny game with my husband where she sits on the highest tower of the cat tree and tries to gently bat him as he passes if he doesn’t reach up to pet her. Her favorite game with me is where I pet her chest and try to pull away before she can object by putting her paw on my hand. She is also used to long schedules and can do her own thing but thrives with daily loves.

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH PIXIE! THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT BETSY AT 503-621-3675 FOR MORE DETAILS.-

This is Tuck, a 12 year old Siberian Husky! He’s a sweet boy and we would like to find him an appropriate home! Tuck is friendly and very food motivated.   He is not reactive to dogs, cats or any farm animals.   He’s interested, enjoys his walks on the farm, and is not reactive or alarmed by other animals.   He moves around well but is taking Rimadyl for his joints.   One of the side effects of his earlier neglect was a raging ear infection and terrible skin problems.   He now has a beautiful coat and his skin is looking great.   His ears are under control too.   Whew!   He’s not crazy about having his nails clipped but tolerates it well. We usually put a soft muzzle on him during nail clips.   He is a typical Husky in that he doesn’t really bark but he does talk when he wants something’”kind of a howly sound.   But he’s really not noisy.   He just lets you know if you are late with his food!   In general he’s very quiet.   He would do well in a home where someone could take him out for regular potty breaks.   He never soils his bed but he’s a Senior and needs consistent potty time or easy access to a place to potty.   He’s beautiful, perky and enjoys everything and everyone.   But please no very small children or  very active dogs in a home for Tuck.  He would be fine with another mellow dog or cats.  He’s a Senior with typical aches and pains of an older individual and children tugging on him or dogs pouncing on him would be a difficult situation for him. Prospective families or individuals can contact Betsy at The Charlton Kennels,  503-621-3675.

My name is Gulliver, and after a lifetime of many travels and adventures, I’m ready to settle down and retire with my new forever family. I’m an incredibly sweet 14-year-old, de-clawed lady that loves to be held and cuddled — we can spend all day together while I tell you stories of all I’ve seen and listen to your thoughts and secrets. I’m a petite little fluffy girl and I really enjoy being brushed. I’m also very mellow and don’t really get bothered by anything, including other animals and children — I’m really gentle and don’t even mind getting cuddled like a baby in your arms! I’d be a wonderful companion cat for anyone, and am independent enough that I’d be fine on my own while my people are at work. Like many older kitties, I’m on a special kidney diet to help prevent the progression of kidney disease — however, overall I’m in great health and don’t need any medications. I’ve already had such great adventures and I’m ready to complete my story with a fairy tale ending! Are you my perfect match? Stop by Pixie to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $80.

Mufasa (top) and Simba (bottom)  are a gorgeous pair of brother cats who are just under 1 year old. They are your typical brothers that play fight, wrestle, chase each other and sometimes get themselves into harmless trouble. These brothers could not be more opposite though. Although they love to play with toy mice and each other, they have very different attitudes towards people. Mufasa is still learning to trust people and enjoys having his own secluded space away from foot traffic and quick movements, but he has come a long way and will seek out attention from his people. Simba  really helps Mufasa to feel more  confident and they love to snuggle and share their space!  Simba also  loves to lay on you and expects petting him to be a top priority! He will have conversations with you, play fetch with his favorite mouse when he’s in one of his playful moods, follow you around your home until you stop what you’re doing to pet him, and come to you when he’s called – or hears the treat bag of course.  These kitties are a wonderful pair and would probably do best  in a home without other pets or children so Mufasa can continue to gain his confidence. This bonded pair loves to lay on a fluffy blanket placed near the windowsill looking outside at all the activity, taking cat naps in the sun and grooming each other. These boys are currently living in a  foster home, so fill out an application to meet them today! They come neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped for a combined adoption fee of $180.

THIS CAT IS  NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT CHRISTINE AT THE EMAIL OR PHONE BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

I have a 10 year old petite, 6 lb black cat named Jenga.  I adopted her 8 years ago from a no kill shelter in Florida. Unfortunately the dynamics in my home have changed and I live with my girlfriend who has a service dog.
Jenga and the dog do not get along and Jenga would prefer to be an only animal. She was a sweet, cuddle cat before living with the dog.I’m seeking a loving, quiet forever home for her. I know that if she wasn’t in the environment that she’s in now that she’d be back to her old self; a sweet lap cat who love to purr and loves her people. She is spayed and microchipped and FIV/FELV negative.

Please feel free to email me at  splendora97@yahoo.com back or call/text me at 813-295-1452.

Pipsqueak here! I’m an adorable and spunky little 2-year-old girl with so much love to give! I’m a young kitty with a very out-going and playful personality. I was a young mom when I came to Pixie, but my kittens have all been adopted to loving homes, and now it’s my turn! My favorite pass-times are hunting string toys, lounging spread-out in the sunshine, and getting love and cuddles from visitors. Did I mention I love people? I think they’re my favorite! I lived relatively peacefully around other kitties in the Pixie cattery before, and I was just a little bit selective about them. My ideal home would be where I’m either the only kitty, or in a larger space with a relatively passive and respectful cat or dog. I’m very good around children and would not mind a busy or active family — I’m not one to shy away from activity! I came in a little scrawny but have put on weight and am a very healthy and hearty kitty. All I need now is to find my new best human friend! Could it be you? Stop by  Petco Unleashed on NW 23rd & Burnside to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.
