Kashi is about nine years old and is looking for a new forever home as I am no longer able to keep her. She really wants a home with somebody she can be around and love. Though not a lap cat, she enjoys being close to me. She is on the end of the desk when I am on the computer, on the next chair when I am watching TV or reading, and at the bottom of the bed when I am sleeping. She loves to have her head and neck scratched and responds with purrs.   Kashi is shy and hides when company comes so needs a one-person home with a quiet, predictable environment.

If you are interested in meeting Kashi, please contact info@pixieproject.org.

“I Tot I Taw a Tootie Tat!” — That’s me, Tootie! I’m an adorable and semi-fluffy 5-year-old boy looking for a new best friend! I’m a very snuggly and gentle kitty that will demand lots of love — especially in the evenings when you’re ready for bed and first thing in the morning. I lost my owner after they sadly passed away, and had only known one person, so it’s taken me a little time to learn to be a confident man. However, now that I’ve been in my foster home a little while, I’ve shown how much I love people. Whenever my foster mom gets back from wherever she’s been, I’ll come out and meow lightly to say hello and see what she’s doing. I also like to greet new people who come over, and will hang on the couch when I’m comfortable. I’m getting used to being brushed which helps with my lush coat as well. One thing I’m not very used to is other kitties — I haven’t ever lived with them before but they seem to be alright and I could probably live with another mellow kitty if I had time to adjust. I’m overall just a very easy-going cat who minds his own business during the day, and is great to snuggle with at night — I love being the big spoon as much as the little spoon! Do you think I might be the kitty for you? I’m currently living in a foster home, so  fill out an application to meet me today!  I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Bo

–THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT; THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT BO, PLEASE CONTACT SAMANTHA AT THE EMAIL BELOW–

Hi all! I’m looking to adopt out my indoor old man cat ‘œBo’ that showed up on my doorstep last October, I just couldn’t say no to him. He’s been the coolest cat to have and has such a neat personality. Really just the sweetest, sleeps a ton, loves to cuddle, great with kids and all around a great companion.

Bo is about 10-11 years old, he’s updated on all his shots, litter trained and is quite mellow. No spraying or other behavioral issues. He does take thyroid medication daily.

Since I have taken  him on I have changed jobs and travel much more which means he’s boarded often. This is not a great way for a cat to live, nor can I financially afford to continue to board him. Looking to find him a home where he can have more consistency.

If this is the right fit for you or someone you know please reach out to me by emailing me at: samanthatoste@ymail.com

Yondu & Crowley are two delightful kittens that can’t wait to start their new journey with you! Yondu is a bigger, black, four month old guy that absolutely adores his litter tabby sister Crowley. He has BIG personality and is your typical curious and playful kitten that also doesn’t mind being held and snuggled! Crowley is just a little bit more cautious but is quick to follow her brother into whatever adventures he’s getting into, and loves to chase strings and wrestle as well as be held and cuddled. They are from different litters, but after a few weeks together have really bonded and love to snuggle and kiss each other all day long — it’s just too cute! Both kittens are extremely hearty and healthy, though Crowley has been diagnosed with a very minor case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which is a condition that makes her just a little bit wobbly. You can learn more about this condition here:  https://lifewithchcats.com/what-is-cerebellar-hypoplasia/

Kitties with CH have the same life expectancy as other cats, and really, her wobbliness generally just adds character to Crowley’s already adorable personality. There are no treatments involved, and most kittens become more capable over time as the condition is not progressive and she is not expected to get any worse over time. Rather, she should adapt to her body and have the same mobility as other cats. Kittens with CH can jump, climb, and live happy lives. Like Yondu, she will just need to have regular once-a-year check-ups with her veterinarian.

If you are interested in this fabulous and special pair of kittens, come by Pixie to meet them today! They are certain to light up your life! They are already fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped and come to you for a combined adoption fee of $243.

My name is Quint, and I am the sweetest, mellowest, handsome-est 6-year-old guy you’re bound to meet! You probably noticed my unique ears right away — my tiny, folded ears are probably a genetic thing that I was born with. It is most likely that I am part Scottish-fold, which is a breed of kitty with folded ears and soft, medium-length fur like mine! In addition to my striking looks, I have a dynamite personality. I don’t mind being held, hugged, and carried around like a baby. In fact, I ask for it every day here at the shelter and will often purr and drool while being loved on. I’m very easy-going and I do not mind little kids or other animals at all. I do absolutely love my nap-time, and will make a fabulous cuddle buddy! Because my adorable little ears are folded, it is likely that I might be more susceptible to ear infections due to the lack of ventilation — however, all that will be required is regular vet check-ups like other kitties, and good quality care should help prevent any future issues. Pixie already provided a dental for me and I’m overall a very hearty and healthy guy and I’m SO ready to go home with my new family! Aren’t you excited to meet me? Come down to Pixie today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Meet Jackson,  a handsome and  part-Maine coon male. Jackson is  an extremely  friendly,  confident, outgoing, and calm cat. He is a chill dude, and everyone loves him. He loves to be around  people and  to be petted and brushed. He is not a lap cat, though. He is  good with kids but  does not love to be held or carried. He is about 7-8 years old, neutered, microchipped and declawed in the front (done by previous owner).

We inherited Jackson and already had 2 cats. His previous owner  let him  come and  go  with a cat door. We are in a condo that does not allow animals to roam. Jackson is unhappy being in the house all the time and  has started taking it out on our female cat.  He is fine with our male cat and our dog. We would love to find Jackson a home with a yard or even a porch.

If you would like to hear more about him, please text or email Alex at 813-416-5465 or kevans629@gmail.com.

As sad as we are to post this, my wife and I are looking to rehome our beloved 5 year old Bengal (F4) Ollie. We are both new medical professionals that cannot give him the care and attention Bengal’s need. We have had him since he was an 8 week old kitten. He has a very easy temperament and is affectionate and nice to strangers. He has shown some anxiety by licking his back and has lost some fur. We recently moved here from NYC into another small apartment and with all the recent stress his anxiety appears worse. With our busy schedule and tight quarters, we conclude it is not fair to Ollie. We think he would do better in a larger place and perhaps be the only pet or be with another very calm, non bossy pet. We are anxious to have this happen fairly quickly. He is a wonderful, stunning pet. He just needs a calm, quiet home and with a family who has time to give him the time and TLC we can no longer provide

Please contact Susan at susanchodroff@gmail.com if you would like to meet Ollie!

–THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT SHIREEN AT THE EMAIL OR PHONE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS —

Blaire is a 3 year old ginger queen.   Judging by her short tail, I think she may be mixed with Bobtail or Manx. This kitty is definitely a unique blend of sweet and sassy.   Blaire’s favorite thing is attention.   She would love a home where she is the center of attention getting lots of chances to play and snuggle with you.   She will sometimes follow me around the apartment and will usually greet me at the door with demands for belly rubs. Yes, this is a cat who greets her human at the door and likes her belly being rubbed. You can rub her belly all you want and she won’t trap you with a bite. She will sometimes bring you in for some attack-licking. Blaire might love a household with multiple people to shower her with attention but she could also do fine with a single person to get attached to. She does get territorial around other cats and dogs so she should be an only pet – I think it’s because she’s afraid they might steal some of her attention. She is also declawed in the front (from a previous owner) so she should be an indoor-only cat. I am sad to have to let her go but have to move across the country and think she would be much happier curled up on your sofa than stuffed in a carrier on a road-trip.

If you’re interested in learning more about Blaire, please contact Shireen at 949-517-8595 or shireennoroozi@gmail.com.
