THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT ALI AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Skitters is a 15-year-old Dachshund that was surrendered a few days ago. He has lived with the same owner his whole life, the reason for surrendering him was because the owner determined she is allergic to him and he has spent the last three years outside due to this. He is a very sweet old boy. He allows you to handle him and it was reported that he does well with cats, dogs, and older children. Smaller children may be too much for this old boy. We have not put him through an assessment as of yet. He does have chronic dry eye, dental disease, and a small mass on the left side of the body.

Unfortunately, ODR, Inc. is over-full and cannot take him in. If you or anyone you know can help, please share this email or contact Ali Randall at the Humane Society of Central Oregon at  541 382-3537  or via  www.hsco.org. Thank you!

walter-healer-dog-1

Hi everyone! My name is Walter and I am a fun, outgoing 1 year old  cattle dog mix. With my charming good looks and my silly personality, I am the dog who will always entertain to you, bringing a smile to your face! I am very excited  to meet new people  ages 10+  and other pups too.  In fact, I would just love a confident lady pup friend to play  with!  I am just a little too interested in playing with those kitties though.  I have a great medium energy and  would be a great exploring partner! Hikes up a mountain or to the nearest swimming hole for a nice cool dip or even just some fetch  in the yard, I am  always a happy as a clam. Because I have a tendency to “sing”, I need my potential adopters to own their home.   I’m not active all of the time and would love watching movies on the couch with you sipping hot coco just as much! As long as I am with you, then it doesn’t matter what we do.    I am sweet, social, handsome and just the pup you have been looking for! So  fill out an application today, so we can set up a meet! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $300.

Zeus-TX-1Derp-1

Hi! My name is Zeus or as some people around Pixie call me “Derp”! I tend to get my lips caught on my teeth a lot, so  my  funny faces are what got me the nickname. Did I mention I was funny? Because I think I am hilarious! I am just here to entertain the world and get lots of belly rubs along the way! I am a sweet and very affectionate pit bull who would just love to play with you! I mostly enjoy a good squeaker toy and lots of ball, but  a nice long walk outside would be just great too!  I get along great with other dogs, but I sometimes don’t know my own size when I am wrestling about and would do best with another dog my size. But boy do I love to play with  them! But no cats for me please!  I need to be in a home with kids 12 or older and due to certain breed rental restrictions, I would need my future adopters to own their home. Which is just fine by me, because I would love a nice yard to run around in. Do you have room in your heart for this Derpy face? Then fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $250. Own a home and interested in fostering me? Then email us info@pixieproject.org!

Hey everyone! My name is Finch and I am a gorgeous 2 year old, 45lb Staffy mix. As you can see, I am not only handsome, but am smart too! I know some basic commands like sit and with a few treats and your help, I can learn even more! I love to go for my afternoon walks and even went on a special hike with a Pixie staff member to Sauvie Island! We had a blast and it made me realize that I would just love to be an active adventure pup. Swimming holes, hiking up mountains, running through the forest trails-you name it! After a long day of discovery, I would enjoy coming home to a quiet environment owned by my potential adopters, and snuggle with my human friends ages 10 and up. I enjoy playing with my pup pals and I would especially love a girl dog companion. No cats for me please! Did I mention I love tug? It’s my favorite game! I am a total sweetheart with an active soul looking for that special place to call home. Will it be yours? Fill out an application today, so we can meet.  I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.

‘” THESE CATS ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS. ‘”
Odie and Stormy are buddies and it would be so great to get them a home together if possible, but it is not a deal breaker if the right homes are found for each. They’re owner died a while ago and they’ve been in foster care.

Oh hi. I’m Stormy. Some say I am of the breed: Ragdoll. As a young cat I was passed around a few times to different owners, by circumstance, and I really just want a stable, loving family to live out the rest of my days with. When I’m not sleeping in a cozy secret spot I can be found sipping the freshest of water from the kitchen sink or bathtub. Toys are fun to play with in a location where you and I can play freely with no interruptions from some others (curious dogs 😉 ). I like dogs, don’t get me wrong, we are mostly simpatico. But they can impair mobility at times. Annoying, right? I’m pretty laid back with other pets and people, but don’t like to be held much. And, I like to be near you but not on you, like Odie there. 😀

STORMY STATS:
Age: 4 years oldish
Temperament: shy, sweet, loving, not very cuddly, pretty laid back otherwise
Children: Yes, if they are respectful and give space to a shy cat
Indoor/Outdoor: both
Condition: healthy with hairball issues (needs some wet food added to diet)
Fixed: YES
Other pets: YES
Claws: YES
Shots: Is due for a standard vet visit, may need shots
* I have an adopted brother, Odie, if you’d like the whole package!
Hiya! I’m Odie. I love affection, can’t get enough. I think I’d be great with gentle, loving kids, though I don’t like to be held much. Its a little uncomfortable for me. But I will snuggle with you and sleep with you at night! In my spare time I enjoy: napping. I don’t play with toys much, I leave that to the younger more spry kitties. I tolerate dogs as long as they are chill. I’ll let them know with a swipe and a hiss if they step out of line.
ODIE STATS:
Age: 7-8 years old
Temperament: Very affectionate, sweet, cuddly, loving, talkative, laid back mostly
Children: Yes, if they are respectful and give space to a mature cat
Indoor/Outdoor: both
Condition: healthy with hairball issues (needs some wet food added to diet)
Fixed: YES
Other pets: YES
Claws: YES
Shots: Is due for a standard vet visit, may need shots
* I have an adopted brother, Stormy, if you’d like the whole package!
Please contact our foster parent if you’re interested in adopting me!

September 27th, 2016

Oh my goodness — aren’t I adorable? My name is Gracie, and I am just about the sweetest little 6-year-old lady cat you will ever meet! I am very soft and snuggly, and my tongue often pokes out which just gives me the cutest character. I have a very calm and affectionate demeanor, and am extremely receptive to any attention I can get. I have very soft fur and will roll over and purr for pets. I’m still young and definitely have a playful side, and would probably do well with a family with older children or with a couple or single person. I’m not quite sure how I feel about other animals, but could probably adjust well to other pets in the home if I was given time to acclimate. My favorite thing so far seems to be snuggling in a warm fluffy bed or better yet — a warm lap! I know I will be a great companion for anyone who is looking for a soft, adorable kitty to brighten their day. I mean, how can you look at this face and not smile? I’m a little goofy, a lot lovey, and just a great kitty in a little package. Are you interested in meeting me? Come down to Pixie today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.
