–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON BENEE, PLEASE CONTACT TONI AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Benee is a neutered male just under 1 year old. He was originally found outside our office and was very skinny and flea infested. We took him in and into the Vet where he was given an examination, tested for FeLV and FIV (negative results), given all appropriate vaccines and neutered. Benee is very healthy and young! Benee was not microchipped and we reported him to Multnomah County Animal Shelter and has since still not been claimed by anyone after having him for about 3 months now. Currently indoor only. Benee is a super sweet, loving and talkative kitty. You’ll never be alone with this little guy, he LOVES to be around people and will follow you everywhere. He is a lap kitty, he loves to cuddle! He is very playful and can entertain himself for hours with toys. Litterbox trained. I think he would be good with children given he is very docile, friendly, playful and is easily handled. Does not mind dogs but is not cat friendly. I would recommend him as an only cat household (does not get on well with any of our 6 office cats). I would also not recommend him for an elderly person who is not sure footed, Benee likes to walk/run right under your feet.

For more information on Benee, please contact Toni at 503-330-0713 (call or text).

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON RIGBY, PLEASE CONTACT EMILY AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

This is Rigby. Rigby is a 6 year old male short-haired domestic cat with a lot of love to give. He’s very playful for his age and has been known to play fetch with a tiny ball! He also loves LOVE and has a habit of reaching his paw out to his human friends for petting. He loves to explore and is a big fan of climbing into empty boxes. Rigby is not a fan of other cats and dogs and so would best be suited in a home without any other pets so that he can enjoy all the attention. He has been an indoor cat but loves to sit in the sun outside when given the opportunity. He has been neutered and has had regular wellness check-ups with the vet. He is an adorable, handsome, loving pet and we hope that he can go to a home that is ready to love him back.

Tiny, scruffy, and full of fun, this terrier is looking for his forever family-are you the one?! My name is Cecil and at around 6 years old and 12 lbs, I am full of personality and spirit! Independent and smart, I often entertain myself by tossing my toys in the air and catching them on the way down. It’s pretty cute! I don’t mind hanging with my foster doggy sibling who is a pretty mellow pup, but places like dog parks are too overwhelming for me. I can get overstimulated on walks, and would do much better running around in a yard than going out for walks. Sometimes I just get so so excited that it’s hard for me to settle down and thus I usually get more amped. But having another dog friend in the home who can be the mellow yin to my energetic yang is much needed to give me a confidence boost while helping me be less anxious overall. I can be a vocal guy at times, so I would need an owned home without shared walls with neighbors. My foster home has some pretty dog savvy kitties that, after a slow intro, I do just fine with. I even copy their moves of perching on the back of the couch! I am a social guy eager to meet new people but after living with some boisterous kiddos in the past, I would much prefer an adult only home. Full of lap snuggles and happy wiggles, I am ready to find my forever home today! Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

*BUDDY IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT ED AT ed.kline@orecity.k12.or.us FOR MORE INFORMATION*

Hi! My name is Buddy. I’m a two-year-old pit bull. I am sweet, friendly, and very cuddly. My favorite things to do are play fetch, chomp on toys that squeak, and try to sit in your lap. Did I mention that I’m very cuddly? I also love “goofy time.” I like to squirm around and make silly noises. I’m smart, too. I know a few commands, like “sit” and “down.” I’m working on “come” and “stay,” but it’s very hard. I also love people, I aim to please, I’m a good listener, and I’m very easy to get along with.

Even though I’m sweet, I’m not sure I can be trusted around cats and other small animals. I don’t bark or chase, but I find them very interesting, and I tend to stare at them intently. It’s also hard for me to walk on a leash. I’m a strong boy, and I tend to pull, especially when other dogs are around. I don’t have very good social skills when it comes to playing with other dogs. I get very excited when I see them, and I’ll need lots of help learning how to interact with them.

I’d be a perfect fit for a home with humans who have experience with big dogs and have the patience and love to provide me with extra training with leash reactivity and playing with other dogs. I am looking for an owned home in a low traffic quiet area where I can have some space to practice my leash skills.

I come neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. There is an adoption fee of $150, which will be reimbursed with proof of additional positive reinforcement training classes with a certified trainer. Please contact Ed at ed.kline@orecity.k12.or.us to meet me!

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT MELANIE AT
mmccl2@pdx.edu FOR MORE DETAILS*

Howdy! My name is Hannah, I’m a 7 year old Black Lab/Pit mix and I weigh in at about 50lbs. I’m a curious, intelligent, kind, cuddly pup and will take any opportunity to snooze either next to you or somewhere in the sun. I especially like showing off my tricks for your friends (but only if I’m getting a treat out of it)! I love to explore and sniff around the block. Sometimes, my mama has to hold me back from chasing squirrels, but I’m pretty leash-trained besides that. Some of my favorite things are: playing tug with you, going to the beach and swimming in the water, going on long walks, meeting new people, and taking naps all afternoon! But with any pup you meet, I have a story as well. I originally come from a woman who raised me since I was just a pup and I developed anxiety when I was 7 months old. I take two medications to help with my anxiety, and they usually keep me pretty stable. I’m also dog selective, meaning I really like sniffing and playing with some dogs, but other pups intimidate me and I get timid and on edge. I also love, love, love my owner SO much! With that, I need someone who can either desensitize my separation anxiety, or hang out with me all day!  I’d prefer a home with a stable routine, no small children, and an owned home in a quiet and peaceful area. If there is another dog in the home it would need to be a confident male dog companion around my size. I’ve had two wonderful owners, but am in need of a better environment so everyone (especially me) can thrive.

I come vaccinated, micro-chipped, and with all my food, medications, toys, and bed!

I’m hoping I can find my forever home, and my mama really wants to help out with that. If you are interested, she is best reached through email: mmccl2@pdx.edu

I hope you have a darn tootin’ goofin’ good day!

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON TCHOCHKE, PLEASE CONTACT STACEY AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Hello!  I am Tchotchke — my name comes from the old knick-knacks you find at the back of a dusty antique shop!  I am a quirky kitty, looking for a forever home. I am somewhere around 6-7 years old. I’ve lived with cats and dogs, and am a little standoffish at first, but eventually warm up to other animals and humans. Currently I live an indoor/outdoor life with access to a cat door, but I have always preferred to stay close to the house. Previously I lived in an apartment and adapted to the litter box just fine. I have a common condition called hyperthyroidism, which requires me to take a daily dose of medicine that can be easily wrapped in pill paste or pockets to give to me like a treat!  I still enjoy playing, and I zoom across the living room with lighting speed.  Would you like to meet me?

Please email Stacey at sjaepith@gmail.com or text 503-819-8903 for more information.

”Are you ready? Let’s do it! I’m a cute puppy. I’m a Texas gal. I’m a little bit sensitive and looking for my pal. I’m a little bit LA LA LA, a little bit Alexis!” My new hit single based on my favorite tv show song A Little Bit Alexis. So like, you want to know all about me, right? Well, let me give you all the gossip. As you can see, I’m downright gorgeous with my long locks of flowing hair! I am a 5 month old Shih Tzu pup weighing around 10lbs. Though I have a silly little personality once you get to know me, I haven’t yet had experience with meeting new people or socializing in general. Which means, the world is still pretty scary for me and even with appropriate training, I will still always have a part of me that will be a bit shy of new things. So, though I love attention from my favorite people, I am never going to be a doggy who would want to join you everywhere you go, or go to lots of events or parties. I am more of a -hang out at home, maybe meet up with some doggy friends and of course hanging in my room, posting non stop selfies of myself on Insta-kind of gal. Due to my sensitivities and need for extra training, I am looking for an adult only home with experienced adopters. *TRAINING CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION!* Because I am still learning potty and crate training, I need an owned home with someone who isn’t gone for full workdays. Just until I get a little bit older of course! I seem to really attach to doggy friends my size and love to try and play with them. So another small doggy companion might be great in helping me build some confidence! I am still unsure of kitties but act appropriately, so a kitty would be fine as well. Once I warm up, I am silly lady with a love of toys and being close to you for cuddles! Fill out an application so we can meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed with an adoption fee of $400.

Hello! My name is Christie and well, we could talk all day about how gorgeous I am, but you probably want to know a little more about me. At 2 years old and around 8 lbs, my breed mix is a mystery but the best guess is a Doxie/Papillion mix. I am a sensitive lady, but once I get to know my human pals, I am very much a cuddler and will nap on your lap, enjoying a shoulder massage. Since I can take a second to warm up to new people, I would need a quiet adult only home with no kiddos or potential for future kiddos. My foster mom says I am a very smart girl and have already learned so much! She is also a trainer and has been teaching me this fun “find the treat game”. It’s so enriching and I would be delighted if someone continued teaching me nose work. I also like to play fetch with squeaky toys or a ball. Though I do enjoy walks, I can be barky at new things such as people or bicycles or doggies, so I need an owned home with either a yard to play in or located a quiet suburban area with not a lot of foot traffic to practice my leash manners. Don’t forget-I am a quick learner and already know things like sit, down, crawl, love my crate, and will even give you a little dance for my meals! Cats are not really my style, but I need another mellow male doggy in my home to help me build my confidence. The trainer even introduced me to a big chill lab and I wanted to follow him around the entire time! Speaking of following, I am using my nose to sniff out the clues, will they lead me to you?! Fill out an application today, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.
