Hello! My name is Mia and I am a super cute 4 year old Cattledog mix weighing in around 45 lbs. I am such a delightful Southern Peach! See I am not used to this city life quite yet being from the rural South. I do ok on my daily potty walks, but I would feel much more comfortable with some space in a quieter neighborhood. After some time at Pixie, I really have become a social butterfly with my adult human pals! Though I have made a few doggy friends at Pixie, I would get overwhelmed by places like dog parks, so one on one play with a friend would be best. No kitties in my home please! I am a smart gal who is very food motivated which is great for my training. I even am really good at crating! But I could still benefit from learning some of the basics, from “sit” to leash manners. I am eager to please, so I will be a quick learner for sure! The kennel techs say that I enjoy playing fetch with my favorite toys, especially those tennis balls. Goofy and sweet, I am an active gal looking for a job to do and someone to do it with! So fill out an application today and we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.
Sugary and oh so sweet, a little bit of Honey is all you need! I am a petite and bee-utiful 4 year old retriever mix weighing just 30 lbs. Being a sensitive lady, I am very affectionate and adore being around people. In fact, one meet with me and you can instantly see that belly rubs and snuggles is all I really need! Though I am very tolerant of dogs, I really would love a nice cozy home to myself. But a kitty in the home would be just fine! I am continually opening up and being from the South, the downtown area is still a bit too much for me. I take comfort in people, though, and would be happy living on a quiet side street as you help me work my way up to the busy ones. I am a very mellow gal, though every now and again you might see me go after a toy. But then it’s back to your laps for cuddles! I enjoy meeting new people and would be happy to live with kiddos over 8. Though I am still getting the lay of the land, I am very food motivated and your confidence could help me become a good camping companion. Have you heard all the buzz? A little drop of honey makes everything better! So fill out an application today and we can set up a meet! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.
“I put a spell on you. And now your mine!” That puffy red hair? That big grin? Well it has to be a Sanderson sister of course! Bewitching and charming right into your heart, my name is Winifred or Winnie for short. I am a 10 year old Pomeranian/ Chihuahua mix who loves to greet my adoring fans. When I first came into the shelter, I was in rough shape physically. It turns out I had a bladder full of square stones that were causing me intense pain. After the Pixie team got me all fixed up, I have been recovering well in my awesome foster home. I don’t mind being around other mellow dogs my size or those kitties too. I am very sweet and eager to meet new people, though I prefer living with older kids over 10. My foster parents say I love to snuggle and do well in their apartment atmosphere. I can be a little shy outside in higher traffic areas, so a quieter neighborhood would be best. Opposite my movie counterpart, I am a sweet lady with a big heart ready to share it with my favorite people today. So fill out an application and hop on your broomstick to set up a meet today! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

Phyllis is a 10 year old torbie who has the sweetest personality. She loves to cuddle, but she will also tell you about her day. Her last home gave her up because she was too chatty for them. Phyllis is on a special diet for her hyperthyroidism and can not be fed anything else. Phyllis is playful and funny as well, and has the softest fur. Has a funny drinking habit too — she puts her paw in the water and scoops it up to drink. She should be the only cat in the home, but she has happily lived with dogs. Recent blood work showed she is otherwise a picture of health!
If you are interested in meeting Phyllis, please contact NW Neighborhood Vet at 503-227-6047.

Molly Thumbelina is a young, healthy, beautiful, outgoing, affectionate, silly, spayed, indoor-only, polydactyl girl around 2-years-old. Loves people, great with kids, and coexists peacefully with calm dogs that respect her space. But she cannot tolerate other cats! Her polydactyl toes look like adorable little mittens, and she has the softest fur you’ll ever feel. Molly is a great catch and many people have inquired about her, but no one who can accommodate her need to be the only cat.
Molly is in foster care in Baker City, Oregon, through Best Friends of Baker, Inc. You can inquire about her by phone (703-376-7997), and you can find their adoption application here:

“Franklin” was found as a stray about 6 months ago. He instantly displayed a desire to be pet and held, despite his unfavorable condition. He had a severe ear infection and needed surgery on his ear which left him with a slight head tilt and that true curious cat look. Franklin is approximately one year old and has been fixed. He is a very healthy cat aside from a chronic skin allergy that requires an oral medication once every day or two. What has been working for him is called Atopica, and with a rebate through his current Dermatologist, is $90 and lasts around two and a half months. He is very tolerant and takes the medication with no struggles. He truly amazes everyone he meets with how sweet and tolerant he is. Franklin was most likely someone’s cat at some point given his loving, social nature but was not chipped and sadly never claimed. While in my care he has proven to be great with other cats, dogs of any size, and children, so he would do well in a home with other animals or alone. He is litter trained and will go in a covered or uncovered litter box, and uses a rope scratching post. He has never had any issues with clawing, chewing or biting.
If you’re interested in Franklin, please call or text 503-890-0172. I will only give him to someone who is able to continue his medication but I promise, he makes it all worth it!
