Our dogs and cats will be taking January 1, 2015 off as a day of reflection and to write their New Year’s Resolutions. We have already heard a couple of the dogs want to follow their dream to be Broadway stars, and 2 of our cats want to see the Egyptian pyramids.  Consider supporting their cause by donating to Pixie Project or volunteering your time (as a dog walker, or you know, voice coach).  Happy New Year! Love, Pixie Staff

Nils

This is a very special pup for a very special home.  Nils is a 1.5 year French Mastiff, Dogue de Bordeaux in need of a home. He has a huge head and a huge heart! He does great with other dogs and while his size makes him a beast, he has a more gentle play style.  He  is a ham for attention,  loves people and being part of the family. He will require some basic training but he is potty trained. He is curious with kitties, but with a dog-savvy feline friend and consistent training he should do well.  The main concern for this guy is his back. He had a severe injury when he was younger where he was paralyzed in his rear legs. He recovered but still has residual back pain and rear limb weakness as a result. This will require long-tern  management so he can regain some strength and support in the rear end. Assistance with getting him acupuncture and laser therapy will be included with his adoption, but he will also need medication and supplements. He shouldn’t be in a place where he needs to do lots of stairs regularly and some carpeting would be ideal.  He will make a wonderful companion and is a really easy and relaxed boy!  He is good with kids 8 and up and would enjoy a home with another canine companion! Would  you be his perfect family? Fill out the adoption application so we can schedule a meet and greet.  He is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $180.  He is currently living in foster care.

Want a cuddly companion that can keep away the winter blues?  Pleased to meet you, I’m Hardy! I’m a 2 year old Chihuahua mix that is equal parts entertainer/lap warmer/life coach. You can tell me anything because I give great advice and can keep all of your secrets. Spoiler alert: most of my problem solving involves chasing after it or burying it – very applicable advice for everything from romance to loose tennis balls!  I do wonderfully with other dogs and can live with cats and older kids too. I LOVE my daily walks and can help you make friends with all of your neighbors with my sunny disposition! Do I sound like the dog you have been waiting for?  Fill out the adoption application so we can schedule a meet and greet. I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.  My adoption fee is $250.

Hi Everyone!

Due to the icy road conditions we are hunkering down and closing our doors for the day. Don’t worry, the animals are in the  fabulous hands of our Animal Care Supervisor and will be toasty and warm all day.  We will be back tomorrow from 11-6. Thank you for your understanding!

It’s Rose Festival Parade Weekend, which makes it impossible to get to The Pixie Project!  We will be closed on Saturday, June 7.  Don’t worry!  We have dedicated staff who will take care of all of our dog and cat kids.  We’ll be back open on Tuesday, June 10 at 11 AM.

Hello I’m Levon. I’m 9 years old and great to have around the house. I’m a sweet boy but a little bit shy. You my find me in one of my favorite spots by the window or under your bed. However when I need to cuddle or get scratches behind my ears and under my chin I will definitely make an appearance. I’d love for you to make an appearance and come visit me. Contact the Pixie Project to find out more about me. I’m neutered and vaccinated. Adoption fee $100
