**THIS IS A COURTESY POST Abby is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT sandrajc0409@gmail.com 9/2/2022
Abby is a 3 yr old domestic shorthair tabby, She’s up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Vet records will be provided. She is a total sweetheart! She loves her humans but it may take a couple days to warm up to them. She would be better in a quiet home and is an indoor kitty only. She loves kids, 10 yrs. and older, and my Pomeranian. I have never seen her around larger dogs or other cats. A rehoming fee of $50.00 is asked to ensure Abby goes to a good, loving home.
It’s an Ewok! No, it’s a teddy bear! No, it’s a….an adorable yorkie?! Hi everyone. My name is Sophie and at 7 years old and 12lbs, I am full of spunk and sass. Being a total sweetheart, though it takes a few days to warm up to new surroundings and people, I quickly adjust and am ready to be anyone’s companion. I am not a total velcro dog, but I do like to be close by and you can find me happily sleeping on my dog bed, or on your lap in the recliner, or at the edge of the bed during the nighttime. Being a sensitive gal, I get overwhelmed by loud noises or really busy areas, so I am looking for a quieter place to settle into in a low traffic area. I will definitely let you know if I hear someone at the door or close by, so the apartment lifestyle and shared walls with neighbors isn’t for me. Plus, since I am still learning walking manners, being able to have a yard to run around in is ideal. I am a terrier personality for sure which means that I tend to want to play chase games with kitties and would need a home without them. I get along great with my foster doggies that I hang out with, so another dog in the home would be just fine by me! Though I am very outgoing once I get to know you, I can be a little on the shy side when we first meet, so a home with older kiddos over 12 is best. Cute and silly, I am an amusing pup with a lot of love to share with you today! Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

She’s a very sweet and timid cat, between 5 and 8 years old, and in perfect health. She loves lounging around the house in sunny spots during the day. She is mostly an indoor cat, but has access to my roof and balcony (2nd floor apartment), and supervised outdoor time on the ground floor patio. She needs to be the only cat in the house, though she would get along well with older children and chill/older dogs. The family that had her before I rescued her used to have a dog, so she has lived with dogs before. Hyper-activity and loud sounds distress her quite a bit – so might not be a good fit for families with younger children. With other cats – she is quite submissive and so tends to be bullied by even the nicest cats, and it makes her anxiety worse. She is very well house-trained to not scratch at furniture, not eat ANY plants (except bamboo, she loves bamboo leaves), and not climb onto beds/couches/etc. I am allergic to cats and so unfortunately had to train her not to be on my bed, but if you aren’t allergic – she will LOVE to snuggle up on the bed or couch with you. I have her medical docs for the last three years, but don’t really know much of her story from before I got her in 2019. My friends quite literally rescued her from a burning house and so it is most important to me that she goes to a good home and a family that wants her, so that she doesn’t feel abandoned or in danger ever again! She will come complete with her litter boxes, food supplies that remain, toys, grooming items, scratch pads, heated bed, etc. Please let me know if you or anyone you might know would be interested – I’d be happy to set up a trial run for a few hours/days as desired to help with the decision making! A rehoming fee of $75.00 will be asked to ensure she finds a good home. I can be reached at akriti.bhargava@gmail.com. Thanks!
My name is Beethoven and I am an adorable and super affectionate 3 yo all white kitty. I am all about the pets, love, and attention from my human friends! In fact, when you hit the right spot, it’s “Roll over Beethoven” time, as I position myself just right for optimal petting. I am pretty chill guy who can usually be found napping in all types of silly positions, from upside down to curled up with paws over my nose. I am not a huge fan of other kitties or dogs, so I would be best as the only pet in the home. I am just very much a people cat and always down for snuggles, and making biscuits on your lap! Since I am an all white kitty and slightly hearing impaired, I will always need to be an indoor kitty. Which is just fine by me as I would much rather be curled up on the couch with you than go outside. Being a young gent, I sometimes am into play but I am not really high energy, so the game doesn’t last very long. In fact, my forceful head butts always let you know that I am ready for more skritches and attention. Handsome, sweet, and charming, I am ready to start composing my next symphony with you today! Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $100.
Sweet, affectionate, and full of snuggles, my name is Lilly and I am 12 year old Rat Terrier mix. Weighing in at 13 lbs, I am a petite lady with a giant heart bursting with love that I am ready to share with that special family. As you can see, I am pretty much fully blind, but my foster mom says I navigate really well and even have mastered the two steps that go into the yard. Even though I am pretty adaptable, having to move around a lot or into different rentals would be too much for me since I would need to keep learning new layouts, so a stable living situation in a house would be my ideal retirement home. I am a pretty laid back gal who is fairly independent but still am always happy to snuggle by your side. I especially love to “burrito” into the blankets, which is where you can find me most of the day. Unless it is a sunny day, and then you can find me sunbathing out in the backyard. Even though I am always down for pets, because I can’t see, I can get startled sometimes and so an adult only home would be best. My foster says that I do really enjoy my walks, especially in a bit quieter neighborhood versus downtown. I have met other dogs and am currently residing with one in my foster, so a mellow dog who will respect my space would be ok. But I perfectly happy being your only pet companion too! My foster says that I am her favorite foster yet, but shhh. Don’t tell her I told you that! If you are looking for an easy going and calm pup who is eager to be your companion, well I am your gal! Fill out an application so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped, spayed with an up to date dental cleaning and bloodwork and an adoption fee of $350.
–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THESE CATS ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON NORA & REN, PLEASE CONTACT DOUG AT THE EMAIL BELOW. PLEASE NOTE: THEY ARE IN THE SEATTLE AREA–
Nora (top left) and her handsome, roly-poly brother Ren (top right) are two 5-year-old kitties that are littermates looking for love! Both of these big tabby kitties are very gentle and playful, and will seek out the attention of humans whenever they can! Ren is a bit of a chunker, and a big boy that will quickly catch your eye with his beautiful silver coat and impressive size. He’s a friendly giant that will often saunter over to say hello, and a very sweet boy that isn’t bothered by much. He’s a dog-like cat that will even play fetch when he’s feeling frisky! His sister Ren is the more active and independent of the two, and likes her naptime as well as her playtime. She might take a little longer to warm up to a new person, but is oh-so cuddly and will bond fiercely when she’s had time to get to know you. Both Nora & Ren are large-bodied cats that always prefer to be nearby but not necessarily in the lap. These sweet, plushy kitties were rescued as kittens together in Tennessee, but were brought to the Northwest after moving from a big house to a tiny apartment, where their owner’s allergies became too much to handle. They are used to being entirely indoors, and would thrive in a larger space to roam around in, though they are not super high energy. Once they are settled in, they are undeterred by most things, including children and dogs, and would make wonderful family pets. They enjoy cuddling together and grooming each other, so would love to find a home where they could stay together. After having already gone through quite a bit of transition in their short lives, they’d love to find a stable home to settle into long term.
Nora & Ren are currently residing with Doug in the Seattle area. If you are interested in learning more about these delightful kitties, please reach out to him at dougiedo.handyman@gmail.com.
