My name is Spike, and I am anything but sharp. In fact, I’m a very sweet and mellow de-clawed kitty that is around 12 years old and looking for a loving home to retire to. I’m a cuddly lap kitty that is very gentle and quiet. It might take me just a second to warm up, but once I’m comfortable, I’m a very affectionate guy that can’t get enough attention! I’ve lived among other cats and dogs and there’s not much that seems to phase me — I’ve even been around young children and do fine as I’m very sweet, but would probably be happiest in a calmer home with an adult or two to bond with. Though I’m a senior boy, I’m in excellent health and Pixie has run blood work to ensure that everything is functioning properly. At this time, I don’t have any special needs and will make someone a very low-maintenance, but highly adorable and enamoring kitty! I would also be a great fit for someone with another mellow cat like me, since I’m so comfortable around other cats. Since I’m de-clawed, I absolutely will need to be kept indoors, but I’m very used to that lifestyle and would make a great apartment cat. Are you looking for a handsome older gentleman like me? I would love to meet you! I’m currently residing at Petco on SE 122nd and Division, so I hope you’ll come by soon! I come to you fixed, vaccinated and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $80.

Hi there – my name is Hugo! I’m a big, squishy, pumpkin-colored guy that is right around 9-years-old and full of love! I’m a quiet kitty that is used to a quiet home, though once I am comfortable I am a big cuddler and a bit of a silly man, always lying on my back and posing for the camera. I definitely enjoy being near wherever my person is, and am just a big lover-boy. When I want you to pet me, I will use my huge paws (with a couple extra toes!) to reach out and touch you gently. I went through a lot before I came to Pixie, and haven’t had much stability in my life, so it’s understandable that it can take a little time for me to adjust in a new environment. That being said, my foster mom is amazed at the tremendous progress I’ve made and I’m sure to make a single person or couple a really wonderful companion! I have lived with other cats before and would probably do okay with another mellow kitty like me, though I seem perfectly happy on my own, too! All I need are a few catnip toys and I can easily entertain myself. I’m absolutely used to being an indoor-only kitty and would definitely thrive in an apartment. Are you in need of a pudgy leg-warmer that’s already dressed for Fall? You won’t need a pumpkin with me around this Halloween! I’m currently living in a foster home, so please fill out an application to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Suki here! Have you noticed how lovely I am? I’m a gorgeous 10-year-old Ragdoll mix with piercing blue eyes and a heart-stealing personality. I’m a very friendly girl that loves to solicit attention from new people by chirping and swishing my fluffy tail as if to say “pet me, pet me!”.  Ragdolls are known for their wonderful temperaments, and I’m definitely a great example of the breed, though I may not be “pure”. When I’m feeling comfortable, I don’t mind being picked up and would probably be fine in a home with kids, especially calmer, respectful kids. I was rescued by a very nice person who really wanted to keep me, but I let her know that I don’t want to live around other kitties. I need all of the attention, after all! Even though I want to be your only feline, I’m not much of a princess; I’m pretty easy-going and mellow and will likely be a very low-maintenance girl. Since my coat is thick and a little fluffy, I could probably use a good brushing now and again, but this is something I seem to really enjoy. Pixie has done a thorough check to make sure I am healthy and at just 10 years old I know I have many more years to devote to my next family. Aren’t you smitten? I’m currently residing at Pixie, so come by to meet me in person today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped (and with a recent dental already done!) for an adoption fee of $100.

— THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT; THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT JASPER, PLEASE CONTACT MELISSA OR DARBY AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

This big lug wants to be your lover boy!   Jasper can be a little shy at first but once he knows you he will win your heart.  First he will give you a tiny meow, then a cautious rub against your leg, and before you know it you’ll be cuddled up on the couch.  Jasper is 3 years old and has always lived by himself indoors, he doesn’t know much about other animals but does not seem bothered by being around them now.  He wants to be in a home where he gets all the love and affection he deserves.  Jasper likes his life to be predictable and safe and is scared by the noise and chaos of small children.

Jasper is currently being cared for by the staff at Powell Veterinary Clinic. For more information, please call 971-279-2681.

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT FIPPY, PLEASE CONTACT PATRICK AT THE PHONE OR EMAIL BELOW

Hi, my name is Fippy. I am a male cat who enjoys being close to my friends, and enjoys playing with my toys in my free time. I am a bit shy when I first meet someone, but it only takes me an hour or so to become confident with new people. I was around a child who did not understand relationships with animals when I was young, and still do not feel safe around them. When you sleep, I may sneak up on to the corner of the bed, just to watch you and make sure you are safe. I will meow and talk to you when you get home, wanting to know what adventures happen outside the door at the edge of my realm.

I have been an indoor cat most of my life but am interested in the outdoors, and find birds and other animals interesting to look at. I am in good health and I have been chipped, neutered, and had shots last year but not this year.
My friend Patrick can be contacted at  patrick.l.nolen@gmail.com  or                     503-719-1350 for additional information.

My name is Link and I am a shy, gentle, soft, sweet 11-year-old Siamese boy. The wonderful people at Pixie rescued me from a not so nice up situation, and my adoring foster mom has nursed me back to health and my rightful beauty. I have really come out of my shell and am ready to find my forever home! Though I can be a little timid at first, I’m extremely nice and my greatest defense mechanism is to melt into a puddle in your arms and stare into your eyes lovingly. In my time recovering at a foster mom’s home I have come to learn that human love is the best love ever! I love slow gentle swishes down my back while I prance around showing you how handsome I am. I am a little coy and I love to come up and cuddle next to you on the couch. My favorite thing is to be spooned and will melt into you if you let me. I am still learning how to trust new people and am little skittish when you are up walking around but as long as you’re sitting I’ll happily join you for a good cuddle. I am calm and low maintenance and need only a quiet, safe environment were I can rest and relax with you. I don’t need or take up much space so I would do well in a small apartment. My former home was a place full of dogs so while I am used to them, I would probably prefer to be the only pet, or for any other animal I lived with to be super mellow like me. Are you interested in getting to know one another?  Fill out an application to meet me today!  I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped (and with a recent dental already done!) for an adoption fee of $80.

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT MAXOU, PLEASE CONTACT CAROLE AT THE PHONE OR EMAIL BELOW

Hello, my name is Maxou, I am an 8 year-old male, I am neutered and house-trained. Apart from being incredibly handsome, I have a charismatic personality and will charm your heart ! I love interacting and vocalizing, I am curious and have proven to be a devoted, loyal but most of all extremely funny companion. I like to cuddle, but like many cats, on my own terms. It usually involves me getting on your chest if you are lying down or on your laps if you are sitting on the sofa. I like to talk, but even more so, to be talked to. I currently live in an apartment, but I enjoyed strolling and hunting in the yard of my previous home. I will do best in a home without small children where I can get a lot of attention. I am in good general health and all up-to-date on my vaccines, but need to be on prescription food since I have been a kitten. Should you choose to adopt me, I will come with a year worth of food supply, a large litter box, a smart feeder. See you soon ! Adoption fee is $40.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT FRANKY, PLEASE CONTACT CASSANDRA AT THE PHONE OR EMAIL BELOW–

Frank or ‘œFranky,’ as we like to call him, is such a cool kitty. He’s what I’d imagine a mix between a Main Coon and Siamese would be. He has ENORMOUS feet and a big personality to match. His eyes are bright blue, such a handsome boy.

Frank is a loyal companion, he follows my mom around the house wherever she goes. And when things quiet down, he’s game to curl up in a lap. We’d love to keep him, but since my mom rescued him a from a bad situation a few months ago he hasn’t quite adjusted to her older, small breed dog. He gets along famously with her other cat though. It seems  Franky  should definitely be an inside kitty, for fear that he might run away.

The vet thinks he is approximately 4 years old and is healthy and happy. His fur was in rough shape when she found him but with her care is beautiful now. Only one health consideration so far, he had some broken teeth so is on a soft food diet.  It’s going to be hard for my mom to say good bye, but it really is for the best. For  Franky  and the dog.

If you want to give Frank a loving home, please call or email me, Cassandra. I’d love to answer any questions you may have: 503-799-0484 or  casspowellpdx@gmail.com
