*THIS IS A COURTESY POST* Loaf is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY Please contact beth_barrett@outlook.com for adoption information 11/30/2022 My name is Loaf because you can often find me laying in the shape of bread! I’m a very large man with a large personality and I’m estimated to be about 2 years old! My biscuit machine and purr motor never stop, especially if I’m receiving chin scratches or cuddling my human. My history is unknown, but I recently tested positive for FIV, which means I will thrive better as the only kitty in your home and will have to stay indoors strictly. I have yet to meet other critters like dogs and small animals so I’m not sure how I’ll feel about them.  For more information on FIV, check out this article from the Cornell Feline Health Center: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm

MOE

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST MOE is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT HOLLY at townsendholly1@gmail.com

This is Moe. When I found him he was very thin and had many skin issues. Some of his fur was missing and he was emaciated. I took him to the vet and he was given all of his shots, dewormed, cortisone injections for his skin, flea treatments and neutered. I have all of the records for these treatments. He is FIV+. The kitty is now fat and a healthy  guy. The vet estimated he is about a year old. For more information on FIV, check out this article from the Cornell Feline Health Center: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm

11/17/22  THIS IS A COURTESY POST* Monte is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; Contact katieannlee@live.com

Monte is a sweet, cuddly, and loving cat. Unfortunately for everyone involved, he also has jealousy issues with other animals. He is very friendly to humans, seems to be very interested in children, though he has not spent much time with children. He’s generally very open to getting to know humans. He does not like to share attention with other animals, so he would be at his happiest in a single pet home. When he feels other animals are encroaching on his territory he will act out. If you are looking to have a single pet (fish friends are okay, as long as he can’t get into the tank!), then Monte would be a good choice for you. He’s healthy and cuddly and wants to be best friends with his humans.

Notes: He is prone to urinary crystals, but if you feed him the fancy feast (beef and poultry-grilled- in particular) and give him a few inexpensive over-the-counter drops (I use Urinary Gold), then they go away and the Pretty Litter shows his PH is back in balance. Other than this, my vet has always given him a clean bill of health.

11/15/2022 *THIS IS A COURTESY POST* Tinker is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT Cailin at 917-596-1864.

Hi. My name is Tinker. I am a genuine lovebug that wants all the cuddles and affection. In fact, it takes me no time to warm up to strangers. I will happily sit in your lap while you read, nap or work on your computer. I love cuddling with you at night and keeping you warm like a hot water bottle. I am around 2-3 years old, neutered and litter trained male, but still have the spunk of a kitten. I have lived with other cats, but big dog energy might deter me.

For more info please contact: Cailin at 917-596-1864.

11/10/2022 *THIS IS A COURTESY POST* Frankie is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT  laurenmschlangen@gmail.com or text 503-707-6843

Frankie was found as a stray in Hillsboro, OR by a family that was highly allergic to cats. Having rehomed many stray cats in the past, I brought her into my home and she has lived with my other cat and dog for about the last year. She is skittish but also curious about other animals. I think she would do best in a low traffic home without dogs; I think cats would be okay if they are young like her. She had a recent urinalysis which was clear. She has a lot of curiosity about the outdoors and I think she would be a great indoor/outdoor cat. She eats dry food well and enjoys being high up where she can look down and know what’s going on. She would not do well with young children or other high energy pets. She is a bit larger than the pictures do justice – around 14 lbs.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST POLAR RAT is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT Heather via text at 323-533-9242.

10/29/2022
This is Polar-Rat. PR for short. He is a loving, friendly cat who likes to be in the same room as people but also takes his own space. He is deaf which actually makes him pretty chill and super cute to wake up because he often looks surprised and then happy to see you. He is so patient, you can pet his paws, belly, tail, he just wants to be pet and doesn’t get mad. He has lived with many different cats, dogs, and people over the years. He travels incredibly well and has been on multiple road trips and on a plane! Upon meeting new animals, he has an adjustment period where he stands his ground at first when meeting a new animal (this looks like puffing, drive by hisses, and slow walking) but doesn’t take long to relax with support from owners. With other cats, he enjoys playing at times and other times just wants to sleep. He will even cuddle up with them if comfortable enough. With dogs, he wants his own space. With people he wants all the pets but will show this as walking back and forth past you and eventually laying on your lap when the conditions are calm. But he also loves to be riled up and play! One fun thing about him is if you put a blanket in a basket, you can carry him around in it and even bring him to your lap to pet him. He loves being in a basket!! Once you build a bond with him, you can place him on your lap and he will lay down. But he does not prefer to be carried around!
He LOVES being outdoors which is difficult in an urban setting. However if he had access to safe outdoors like an enclosed patio or balcony he could spend all day laying outside in the sunshine and looking around.
The ideal family would be one that has the capabilities of giving him time and attention, possibly another animal as he does get lonely, and potentially access to safe outdoor space. They are asking for a rehoming fee of $75.00 to ensure Polar going to a new home. The best way to reach Heather is via text at 323-533-9242.
