–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT HEIRO, PLEASE CONTACT LAURA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Hiero (named after Hieronymus Bosch) is an active, playful 7-year-old male cat. He loves to be around activity and did very well living with dogs in the past, as they kept him entertained. Hiero also gets on well with other cats – he occasionally bats at tails but it’s more from a place of playfulness and he does not instigate fights. As he has gotten older, I have found that he is becoming more and more interested in laps and will happily snuggle. He would do best in a child free household, as he can become a little excitable during playtime and still has his claws. This is the reason why I have to rehome him – My partner and I have started a family and do not fully trust him with small children. He has been a wonderful companion to me for 6 years, and all the adults he has lived with have loved his bright personality. Hiero is neutered, microchipped, healthy, and up to date on his vaccines.

Please contact Laura for more information or if you would like to meet Hiero: (307)-349-3304. LAURAHARTMEEKER@GMAIL.COM.

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, did you say you were look for a adorable, delightful pair of Jack Russell terrier mixes? Well look no further! My name is Athens and this fancy gal to the right of me is my ma, Georgia. We are two peas in a pod and fixin’ to find a plantation to settle in to and family to call our own. At 11 and 12 years young, we absolutely love going on afternoon strolls around the block, rolling in any grass we see, and soaking up the sun. I do have to warn you though, my Ma is slower than molasses sometimes. Ha! But we both love the outdoors and exploring! We have met some doggy pals at Pixie and though we just usually just hang out with them, we sometimes get spunky and flirty, and our playful side comes out. We would be ok with a dog savvy kitty in our home as well.  We are both delighted to meet any human pals that we run into on our walks, but since we are a bit older, we would do best living in a home with older kids over 13. With summer just starting, we are both yearning for a family to share our cuddles, love, and maybe some nice yummy BBQ with too! I’d reckon you best fill out an application today, so we can meet! We come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, fixed, with dentals for a total adoption fee of $350. Interested in fostering us while we search for our forever home? Email info@pixieproject.org for more details!

Lemur (all-white) and her beloved “sister” Monkey (brown tabby) are two incredible sweet, mellow, and absolutely adorable kitties who are looking for a loving home together! Lemur is about 6-years-old, while Monkey is only about 2-years-old, and both have been de-clawed in the front. While they are not blood sisters, these girls love to spend time together cuddling and grooming each other, and it’s clear that they’re inseparable! Both have an incredibly gentle demeanor and are so easy to fall in love with. Lemur has a beautiful, round face and a thick fuzzy coat that makes her oh-so-soft to the touch! Monkey is the slightly braver of the two, and is usually the first to come over and say hello with her sister close behind. Both are extremely receptive to pets and attention and are quite snuggly when they’re comfortable! Though not a lot is known about their history, these girls absolutely must remain indoors because of the fact that they are de-clawed, and would likely do alright in an apartment setting as long as they had a little bit of space to play and romp around — they are young ladies, after all! It is unknown how they would do with small children, however since they are such sweethearts without an ounce of aggression in their little bodies, they would likely do well in a family setting and absolutely adore any attention that they can receive. These girls are quiet, healthy, and relatively low maintenance — they just need a place to call home! If you’re interested in meeting this lovely pair, fill out an adoption application today! They come to you fixed, vaccinated and micro-chipped for a combined adoption fee of $180.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT AUTUMN, PLEASE CONTACT MEGAN AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

We unfortunately have to give up our sweet 3.5-year-old short hair tabby, Autumn (aka “Autty” aka “Baby Girl”). She was born in July 2015 and we bought her from the Oregon Humane Society in September of 2015. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. She has a clean bill of health from her June 26, 2019 visit at the vet’s and doesn’t even have fleas. We can give you all her records. Autumn loves scratchings from her owner, cuddles on laps, and doesn’t have any problems at all. She sometimes goes outside but never strays far because she’s a bit cautious. Our only problem is that our other cat bullies and torments her relentlessly, so we can’t leave the two of them unattended. The ideal owner won’t have cats or dogs so poor Autty can get some peace and quiet for once.

Contact Megan at 503-805-3016 or meglynntay@yahoo.ie for more info.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THESE CATS ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT TIGGER AND SNOWY, PLEASE CONTACT FELICIA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Tigger (darker grey with dark stripes) is a 10 year old cat who loves to snuggle, he is the more shy out of him and his brother Snowy. Tigger is a careful cat who loves consistency and repetition, he’s most comfortable with structure, but is ok with some change and is used to it. He will look for his own spot in your house and camp there, when you look for him you will find him where he is comfortable, which most times is in a laundry basket. Tigger is mature and knows what he wants and likes, he is sure of himself and is careful about letting you in his world, BUT when it happens you will definitely know! He’s is full of love and belly rubs!
Snowy (lighter grey with minimal dark-ish stripes) is also 10 and is Tigger’s Brother from the same Mother. He is playful, curious, kind, affectionate, and loves to lay next to his human friends. When he is comfortable and laying near a friend he will extend ONE paw to touch your leg or arm to insure you know he’s near. Snowy is very curious and loves to explore new surroundings, because of this it might take him a little to warm up to you, but will quickly become your right hand man once the coast is clear! He is an amazing and loyal friend and will help Tigger adapt to their new home.

Snowy and tigger are brothers from the same litter and work best is kept together. They need a larger home then what I can provide with room to explore, a backyard would be a plus, but not necessary. Both cats have been neutered and have had their front paws declawed, they both are in perfect health and have gone to the vet recently and passed all test with flying colors. They eat a diet of dry food for breakfast and wet food for dinner, their food is prescribed by the vet and can be picked up at any pet store. There is no particular reason for the special diet and can be switched over to regular cat food if you’d like; the prescription for their food does not expire and can be handed over at the time of adoption. Tigger and Snowy are mostly inside cats, but love to get outside and explore once in a while, I am looking for a home who can provide them with room to explore and LOTS OF LOVE TO GIVE! Please consider adopting these lovely, sweet beautiful cats and give them their forever home!!

If you are interested in these sweet boys, contact Felicia at 971-200-0048 or Feliciamariehernandez@yahoo.com.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED BY THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT TUCKER, PLEASE CONTACT AMBER AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Name: Tucker Age: 9+\-
Dogs: never lived with (or history unclear) Cats: possibly with the right fit
Affectionate: yes!! Kids: ages 4+
Neutered, Litter box trained and up to date medically/vaccinations.

Tucker is a big old love bug who is looking for his forever home. He has lived with other cats successfully in the past, but he feels like he might enjoy being the only cat of the household (especially with somebody who can be home with him a lot) so that he doesn’t have to share his love, water, and litter box. He has lived successfully with another cat for the past 6 years and despite her hissing or growling at him when I first brought Tucker home and every time I bring him home from the vet, Tucker has NEVER hissed back at her. My other cat has a worsening neurological disease which makes it very difficult for her to walk, as this has progressed over the years, it seems she is unable to play with Tucker like they used to which is creating conflicts as she isn’t the cat she used to be. This is the main reason that I need to find a new home for Tucker where he can thrive and be the happiest cat he can be.

Tucker enjoys being close to his human, and once he is comfortable he may want to curl up on your lap once in a while. Tucker loves fresh water in his bowl and chatting with his human frequently, as well as bringing them some gifts! He might enjoy going outside at times so he can get a little bit of extra exercise since he is a big guy! Since he has had history of urine crystals in the past, Tucker is on a prescribed diet of urinary tract food with moderate calories to help tone his physique (since he has started the RX food he has not had any more UTI’S). He enjoys being brushed on his back (very much!), petted on his belly (or anywhere), kneading and purring on his human, and scratching on his cardboard scratcher/lounger. Give him a few scritches on the sides of his face and you will win him over instantly.

If you’d like to meet or learn more about Tucker, please contact Amber at 503-975-4186 or by email Qtgemini26@comcast.net.

My name is Maya, and I’m a lovely 9-year-old lady kitty with an outgoing personality that is ready to make new friends! Like all of us, I’ve been a bit restless during our stay-at-home time, as I am a very social girl. Since being settled in my foster home, I’ve very much enjoyed perching at the window and greeting folks walking by on the heavily-traveled path beyond. Even under no-visit conditions, I’ve charmed many humans and doggies with my cool demeanor, inquisitive nature and big, gorgeous yellow eyes. Though I enjoy the social aspects of window time, I’m perfectly content being entirely indoors in an apartment and don’t ever try to venture outside. Rather, I prefer lap time in my cozy foster home — I purr as soon as I’m touched and is very happy to keep your legs warm as you read or work on the computer! I’m a snuggly girl that will gladly cuddle in bed with you (even under the covers sometimes) and really just crave attention and bonding time. It helps that I’m so soft — my short coat is lovely and I keep it pristine! Though I’ve been very comfortable in an apartment setting, I do enjoy climbing and exploring new heights, and can also be very playful still — chasing the mysterious red “laser” dot or string toy and carrying around my prey, announcing proudly when I’ve made my “kill”. I’m a fierce hunter, after all! Only when it comes to toys, though. With my people, I’m incredibly gentle and very well-mannered. I do have some allergies that cause me to over groom sometimes so I eat a special diet and take a medication to help keep my skin from itching. I’m very cooperative about my pill and enjoy my food, so my care is generally low-maintenance. Pixie has already run blood work and ensured I am in good health at this time, though I will definitely need regular vet care as any kitty close to senior-hood will need. Overall, I am a really easy, personable kitty that is oh-so-lovable and ready to meet my forever family! Do you think I could be the kitty for you? I’m currently living in a foster home, so please fill out an application to learn more about me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

-THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT; THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING. FOR MORE INFO ABOUT MR. BACON, PLEASE CONTACT REBECCA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Meet Mr. Bacon.  He is a 10 year old domestic short hair kitty who is looking for a quiet home without children or large, or yappy dogs.  Mr. Bacon has been with my husband and I for almost 4 years. He was abandoned by our neighbor and came to us as a shy, scared stray begging for food. He is now sweet, loves to play with toys, loves catnip, and loves to be petted and brushed.  He will even let you bathe him very easily, and when he is scared or doesn’t want to do something, he has never attacked; he will only try to get away. He knows his name and will often come when you call him.  Mr. Bacon lives indoors, but he loves to explore outside every once in a while. He loves sunny days, but usually prefers to stay inside when it’s rainy.

We love our Mr. Bacon, but ever since we had my daughter (now 2 yrs), he has been constantly stressed, and it is greatly affecting his health. He has an inflammatory disease where stress makes him sweel in different areas of his body. Usually it is GI related, but occasionally his eyes swell also. He is has to take prednisone once daily to try and prevent swelling. However, with our current situation, he even swells while on prednisone, which should not be happening. Our vet has run every possible test and has concluded that it is due to stress.  He said that if we remove the stressors, the swelling should subside and he should be back to normal, as he was before our daughter was born.  We obviously cannot remove our daughter, so for his sake, we need to find him a home where he can just hang out with adults and be loved in a quiet environment.  If you think you would be a good fit, please text Rebecca at (360) 726-1790, or email me at beccahk9@gmail.com
