presley-pic-1Life got you singing the blues? Then why don’t you add a little spunk in your life by adopting me! Hi everyone, my name is Presley and I am a 1 year old Bull Terrier/pointer mix weighing it at 36lbs. Just like the King, I am an energetic, enthusiastic gal who loves to entertain with my silly and spirited  personality. I guess you could say that I am a little less conversation and a lot more action as I just love to romp around and play, with my puppy like antics. Because of my puppy bounciness, I would need to be in a owned home with no cats or kids and with an experienced owner who is familiar with the terrier way! PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION!  We can dive right into the basic obedience  and change from hound dog to the Queen of Rock N’ Roll! I enjoy hanging out with my doggy pals as well  and would do best in a home with another confident male pup that likes to romp around like I do!  So what do you say? Are you lonesome tonight? Because you can’t help falling in love with me! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.

Owen-pic-2

Hi everyone! My name is Owen and I am a cute 6 month old Chesapeake/Pit mix weighing it at 38lbs. Not only do I have a handsome face like my actor counterpart (Owen Wilson), but I have a wonderful humor-filled personality ready to make you smile at any minute with my puppy charm! I’m very smart and already know a few of the basics like “sit”. PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION! I am an active guy,  ready to jump and play and go on some hikes, exploring the Gorge! I absolutely love playing with my puppy pals, and also some toy and cuddle time with my human friends over the age of 10. Due to certain breed rental restrictions, my future adopters need to own their home. Ready to show me the world? Fill out an application, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.

Why how do you?! My name is Miss Mabel and I am a sweet 11-year-old Bichon mix with an extra lovable face.  Though I fell into some hard times lately, but I am a strong and resilient soul whose personality is coming out a little more each day! Now that I feel all better, I love to go for walks outside and  I even do really well on leash. After my afternoon stroll, it is back to the couch with you as we take a nice long nap. I especially enjoy car rides as well and my foster says I get so excited and bouncy when we are getting ready to head out! In my foster home, I am with other dogs and kitties, so other mellow pets in the home would be just fine! Since I am a bit older, I would really love to retire in a nice and quiet home with older kids over the age of 12 and someone who can really spend lots of time with me, sharing stories of the past.  I am happy lady eagerly awaiting to find my new family. Will it be you? Fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you spayed, vaccinated,  micro-chipped, and up to date on dental exams with an adoption fee of $300.

THIS CAT IS  NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT CASSIE AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

Tuesday is a very loved, sweet and spicy 9-year-old male domestic shorthair. He has beautiful green eyes and a luxurious silky black coat. This handsome guy craves attention and enjoys cuddles and pets, on his own terms. Tues likes to observe and be close to the action, and he responds to his name (and a few nicknames). He tends to enjoy lounging around and is not very vocal. He has lived indoors with the same human since he was a kitten and has lived with a rambunctious young dog for the last four years. It seems Tuesday has gotten too stressed in his older age in this living environment and began urinating outside the litter box. Tuesday is seeking a lower stress home and a compassionate human willing to help him readjust to his new life. Tuesday’s current human is heartbroken to have to find him a new home, and wants to find a truly special person to take him as their own.

If you would like to meet the Tues, contact cassiecapone@gmail.com

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT.  THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT ALI AT THE INFO BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-
Meet Cricket! Cricket is a 5 year old, snugly Yorkshire Terrier that we got from a rescue a year and a half ago. She defines lap dog! In fact, if she sees you headed in the general direction of a chair, she is one step ahead of you and already planning on jumping on your lap for the remainder of the evening. Cricket doesn’t like toys and is not very playful. She loves to be held and just wants to be in the same room as you. Rain is stressful to her so a covered patio for going potty outside would be helpful in preventing accidents. If the weather is nice, she likes short walks. Cricket knows basic commands such as “sit” lay down” “outside?” and “go potty.” She definitely knows the word “treat!” 🙂 If she goes in a room she isn’t allowed in, we say “out” and she obeys. She knows “on your bed” when we are putting her to bed at night or leaving the house during the day. She is not crate trained (makes her anxious) but she does well with dog boarding when we vacation. We trained her to sleep in the dog bed and at night and keep her closed off in our kitchen with our other dog. They sleep on a dog bed which has a pet heating pad underneath that they LOVE! Our vet actually recommended letting her sleep in our bed to help relieve her stress at night. She would not object to sleeping in your bed with you….if you allow that in your home. 😉

Why we are re-homing her:

Cricket has been misplaced one too many times. She has chronic stress and anxiety. Cricket is currently living with our family of four (we have two teenagers and another small dog). We feel she would be happier and healthier in a home where someone is home most of the day. (Work at home? Retired?) When we got her, she was living with a foster family that had small children and lots of other dogs. They told us she was “generally happy and sweet natured, she just needed to put on a few pounds.” They had placed her before we got her and it didn’t work out so she went back to the foster home. When we got home with her we quickly learned that Cricket has text book anxiety and needed lots of extra love and nutrition. She growls when scared, starts sneezing and licking her lips excessively, or scratching at herself excessively when she is scared, intimidated or nervous. After trying everything natural for anxiety in pets, we tried medication. She responded very well to the medicine but we unfortunately can’t afford to medicate her monthly. Our biggest concern with keeping her is that our family lifestyle is causing her more anxiety than she can handle. If interested in her adoption, please contact Ali at 503-853-4473 or Aliheiken@gmail.com!  We are asking a $200 adoption fee.

THIS CAT IS  NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT KATY AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

Hi my name is Molly. I am looking for a new home as I lost my owner who was 105.5 years of age when she passed away. She was sort of a celebrity and was even on the show called cuppa Joe on KG W news. She also rescued me from the pound. I am about eight years of age and I am not used to living with any other animals or children. I can be very affectionate and I also like my alone time. I can’t wait to find my new forever home. If you are interested in meeting me, please email Katy at katykdcam@comcast.net.

THIS CAT IS  NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT STEPHANIE  AT THE EMAIL/PHONE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

Daisy is a 17 year old sweet, quiet indoor-only cat who I took in to foster after her “mom and dad” passed away 6 months apart from each other from cancer. This has been devastating for us all. I took her in as her former house-sitter and family friend. Alas, she is not adjusting well in our home. She needs to be the only cat in a home. She does well with low key dogs who know how to respect a cat’s space. No kids unless they are older kids who know how to be gentle and respectful to cats. In my house, she has become increasingly agitated at random times and if she ever sees one of the other cats I worry she’s stressing herself out so badly that she’s going to give herself a stroke. She basically doesn’t leave my room anymore. I am heartbroken as I wish she would understand that our home wants to provide her with love. But so many changes so soon seem to be proving too much for this old lady.

Family members of the deceased are more than willing to cover all costs of care for this cat.   I am really just trying to find a trusting home for peace of mind that this cat can live out the end of her life comfortably and peacefully. As far as I know she is healthy and has no obvious medical concerns. For more information, please contact Stephanie at: king.stephanie.n@gmail.com or 503-367-3643.
