Hi there! I am the pretty Petunia and I am pleased to meet you! I’m a beautiful and very playful 10-year-old lady kitty who is incredibly easy to fall in love with. I’m a very cuddly girl and love to sleep in bed with my foster parents as well as warm their laps during these cold winter days. Though I am a little more mature in years, that doesn’t stop me from chasing wand toys and batting mice around the house — I like to keep a little excitement going in my life! When I came to Pixie, I had a blood parasite that was fortunately easily treatable by a round of antibiotics. The nice folks at the shelter put me in a foster home since I was contagious to other kitties — but that worked out just fine for me, since I really prefer to be the only feline in the household and now that I’m done with my meds, I’m fully recovered and ready to go to my forever home! Other than needing snuggles and playtime, I’m a pretty low-maintenance girl and will make an absolutely wonderful companion for almost anyone who is currently cat-less. I’m a very tolerant, confident, and affectionate kitty and I know you will adore me — why don’t we meet? I’m currently living in a foster home, so fill out an application to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $80.

Our inner lap kitties are just dying to get out— can you be patient while we decide if you are a friend we can cuddle with?  We are Sabrina and Karina and just like Laverne and Shirley we are inseparable, sassy, and fun-loving 5-month-old gals. We’ve been in foster care for only a short time and already our favorite spot is on our foster mom’s lap…when she’s not tempting us with “Da Bird” that is! Once the interactive toys come out, we have no time for snuggles. We’re still kittens after all! We love giving kisses and sometimes get excited and give little love nibbles, too, though we are learning to be gentle. Since we are still on the shy side, we are looking for a quieter home with adults or older children that can be patient with us the first few weeks and let us get to know them  “Our Way”. We are totally fine around other cats and would probably do well with another very social kitty to take us under their wing and help us with building our confidence even more! Will you make all our dreams come true? We’d love to meet you! We’re currently living in a foster home, so fill out an application to meet us today! We come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for a combined adoption fee of $243.

Aren’t I the most handsome? My name is Theo and I’m a charming 2-year-old boy with a love for laps! I’m a total love-bug in general, and will often give people lots of kisses on their fingers or faces if they’ll let me!
I came to Pixie after my home burned down and my person passed away — luckily, a very kind neighbor took me in along with my buddy who I lived with, Boo. We are both very sweet and fine to be around other cats, but we’re not bonded and would be totally okay as the one-and-only feline as well. I’m still a little new to Pixie so am still learning to be super confident in my domain, however, so far I’ve been very loving and quick to seek out any lap that plops itself down in the cattery for more than a moment. I will crawl into it and purr, purr, purr away! I know that once in a home, I will bond quickly with my human(s) and will make a really amazing cat for a lucky person or family. As long as I was given a little time to adjust, I would do fine in a home with children and other animals. I’m used to an indoor-only lifestyle, and would probably do fine in an apartment as long as I was given lots of enrichment and playtime — I’m still a spry young man after all! Are you in love yet? Let’s mingle! Im currently living in the Pixie cattery and come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Boo! That’s me! I’m an absolutely darling little 6-year-old girl that is frighteningly easy to fall in love with. Aside from my outrageously cute face and petite, fluffy body, I have a scary sweet personality. I came to Pixie after my home burned down and my person passed away — luckily, a very kind neighbor took me in along with my buddy who I lived with, Theo. We are both very sweet and fine to be around other cats, but we’re not bonded and would be totally okay as the one-and-only feline as well. The biggest thing we’re into is people, pets, and laps! I’m still a little bit new to Pixie so I can be just a tad shy when people come into the cattery to meet me — that being said, all it takes is a few pets to bring me right out! I’m still a relatively young kitty and like to perch near the window to watch all the action outside. It gets me a little frisky and then I’m ready to play! I’m an incredibly nice and gentle cat and as long as I was given a little time to adjust, I’d make a great family kitty and would have no poblem living with kids and other cats. Since I’m all-white, it’s very important that I live an indoor-only lifestyle, which is perfectly fine with me! I want nothing more than to be snuggled up with my people in the comforts of my future home. Could that be with you? I can’t wait to find you! Stop by Pixie to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT ANDREA AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Hi there! My name is Isla Rose and I am a blonde shepherd/ greyhound mix from Houston, Texas. My foster mom rescued me from a shelter last February when I was 7 months old and brought my dog-momma with me too. My dog-mom was adopted last spring and my human mom decided to keep me for a full year of puppy training so I would be a well-mannered and adoptable dog. When I came to Oregon, I sure had a lot to learn as I was 1 of 11 pups but I’ve been quick to catch on and love the positive rewards of training. My mom says I have grown up to be quite the exceptional adolescent girl (I’m 18 months old now!) so I am excited for my turn to find my forever home. Let me tell you a little about myself… I’m about 45 pounds with beautiful shepherd eyes and a golden coat with a body shape of a greyhound. My mom thinks I am a really smart and sweet-natured girl who loves other dogs, does well with cats after I meet them and enjoys being around all people except for little ones who are loud and have yet to learn good doggie etiquette – older kids are just fine with me. I can be shy at first, but once I know someone has my best interests at heart, I quickly warm up and love to get close and cuddle. I am super fast when I run and always get lots of attention at the dog park. I enjoy walks, hiking and running with my mom for exercise – although long walks together are my favorite because I am part hound and love to sniff my way around the neighborhood. I also love to relax and cuddle with my mom after getting some exercise every day. We sleep together at night but I am also a good sleeper on my own memory foam bed. (Can you tell I’m a bit spoiled?!) I am still learning recall skills and have nearly mastered all other basic commands. My mom says my new family needs a fully fenced backyard for me so I thought I should mention that too. I have outgrown my chewing phase (although I do love my own toys and bones!) and am a pro with outside potty habits. It would be awesome to have a fellow dog mate and I am also a good solo dog. I do have a midday walker when my mom goes to work and am delighted when I get to go to doggie day care to play. I’m social, silly, adaptable and honestly just want to be loved. If you think we might be a good match, please call or email my mom so we can make a date to meet. Weekends and Tuesdays are best for us! My human is Andrea and she can be reached at  503-348-6216  or  drearun@hotmail.com

My name is Babyface because I am a petite little girl with just the most adorable round face! Even though I’m small, I’m not a kitten — I’m actually around 8 years old and am a very mellow and cuddly girl. I came from a home with a few other kitties and am very social with them, though I’m also perfectly happy on my own as long as I have a human to love on me! I like to burrow under blankets and am just a smidge shy since I’ve been here at Pixie, and I’m quick to come out of my shell and start rolling around for pets. I will purr, purr, purr away and head butt your hand asking for more, more, more! I’m just so cute, I’m sure to warm not only your lap, but your heart as well. I’m perfectly healthy and Pixie is going to make sure I get a dental soon as well, so I’ll be all set and ready to go home! I just need a quiet space and a warm bed to snuggle up in, especially during these cold winter months. I’m used to being entirely indoors and would make a great companion for someone in an apartment or a house. I’m pretty social with other animals so could also make a nice buddy for another mellow kitty like me or a small, respectful dog. I’m hanging out at Pixie now and I really hope you’ll come meet me soon! I can’t wait to complete my forever family. I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Hello! My name is Sampson and I am a hilarious, sweet 4 year old Malamute mix. You might notice my eyes are a little bug eyed. Well, that’s because I have had glaucoma all my life and am pretty much blind. In fact, to help relieve all the pressure and pain, the eye specialist says I should have my eyes removed asap. It will make me a feel a ton better! So after my surgery tomorrow, I will need an experienced foster to hang with while I recover. Since I will need to be low key for awhile, though I love my doggy friends, I really need a foster with no current pets or a low key older dog that won’t try and play with me as much. Just until I have had time to recover of course! No kitties in my home please. If you are interested in helping me get some r&r after my big day, fill out a foster application and email info@pixieproject.org!

Wendy the wonderful here! I am a sweet and charismatic 10-year-old lady cat that is ready to runaway to Never Never Land with you! I seem to become quick friends with everyone I meet, as I have a great personality and am full of character. I will probably be young forever like my friend Peter Pan, since at my age I still am very playful and inquisitive and social with everyone I meet! My foster parents say that I’m extremely affectionate and cuddly, and I sleep on their bed with them every night. I love cuddling and playing with my stuffed mouse, as well as chasing my tail! I am very adventurous and always looking for new places to sit or nap. I love being around people, and if there’s a group of people around you can find me on someone’s lap or sitting as close as I can get, purring away. When I’m bonded with you, you’ll know it, as I’ll give you lots of head rubs and will make an effort to get close to you. I am not a fan of other kitties, and would definitely thrive in a cat-free home. I’d also be a great companion pet for a single person, and have no problem hanging around and day-dreaming all day while you’re at work. My former person took great care of me and I’m in great health, though I am a hyper-thyroid kitty which means I have to take Methimazole twice a day to stay regulated. I eat my pill in a treat twice a day and otherwise don’t have any other needs besides a human or two by my side and a warm bed at night. I seem to charm every person who meets me, so I hope you’ll be one of them! Want to start a new adventure?  Fill out an application  to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $80.
