THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT ANDREA AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR DETAILS-

Look out Lassie, there’s a new kid in town, and her name is Sadie!  Sadie is a loving, athletic and social girl who is approximately 2-3 year old. She weighs around 75 pounds and is a shepherd mix. Sadie was rescue in Houston, Texas after giving birth to 11 puppies. She was a great mom and took great care of her pups. She was well socialized around other dogs, small and large, and with people and respectful children while in Texas. She came to the Pacific Northwest with one of her pups and is currently being fostered in Portland, Oregon. Sadie was made for the Pacific NW because she loves to be outside and would be a great running, hiking and camping partner.   The best home for her would be one where she has a fenced yard to romp in when not enjoying the outdoors with her family. She loves car rides – oh how she loves car rides! She would do well as the only dog and as a part of a pack as she has loved sharing a home with her 8 month old daughter, Isla too. They are incredibly silly and playful which makes for a great deal of entertainment for observing humans who can’t help but smile seeing all the fun being shared. Sadie is smart and has been very trainable. She is responsive and obedient with all the basic commands and enjoys training time. She also loves to cuddle! Sadie is waiting to hear from her forever family. And her foster mom is happy to share more about her and arrange a meet and greet too! If you are interested in meeting me, please reach out to my foster Andrea at 503-348-6216 or drearun@hotmail.com!

-THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS

Hi, my name is Piper.   I’m a petite kitty who is perhaps of Russian Blue heritage but my owners aren’t sure.   I am a beautiful princess who likes to be treated as such!   I would love to move away from this busy household that includes a teenage boy that, honestly, I’m not very fond of.   I am a little timid until you get to know me but I love being pet and having my neck scratched. I will return the love with head-butts and lots of purring but don’t particularly like being held. I am a great nap and nighttime buddy and love to sleep as close to you as I can get. I’m 9 years old and just under 10 lbs., spayed, up to date on vaccines and have a clean bill of health from my vet.   I still have my claws but I don’t scratch much, only on the carpeted stairs that look to me like a giant scratching post. I need an owner that appreciates me for the princess that I am!   Before this busy and loud family, I lived in a nursing home environment and would love to return to that kind of calm. Please contact Christina at: walker737@comcast.net or 503-297-1413 to adopt me!

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH PIXIE. THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT JULIE  AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION.-

My name is Beja and I am a beautiful and very sweet 7 ½ year old Standard Poodle.   My life-long mistress passed away unexpectedly on my 7th birthday. She was retired, so I lived a life of morning walks, errands in the car, and lots of couch time with her watching cooking shows. For the past five months, I have been living with her daughter, who works long hours, lives in a 3rd floor, one-bedroom apartment, and has three cats, which I love to chase and bark at.  I have done an outstanding job of guarding the premises and being her companion when she is home. I love people of all ages and connect deeply with those that want a relationship with me. I do not, however, tolerate most other dogs. When I am on leash, I consider it my job to protect my owner and do not want to meet other dogs at that time. I have received professional training and know quite a few things.

I am a much-loved dog!  At any time throughout the remainder of my life, if you decide you no longer can care for me, or simply decide I am not the match for you, it is fully expected that I will be returned to my current owner no explanation will be needed. Please email my owner, Julie, at jhamiltonann@gmail.com, to express your interest in me and to receive an application.

I come to you spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and with so much love and companionship to give you.

THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT MEGHAN AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Hi there! My name is Frankie and I’m a 1.5 year old  terrier mix. I just about as sweet and cute a girl as you’ll find. I haven’t met a person I didn’t like including the kiddo version. I’ve spent some time with a couple of other dogs and they seem cool too. I don’t really like confined spaces, like crates, so I’d rather have a little more space to roam if I’m left alone at home. I’ve been doing pretty well with house training, only the occasional accident when my person is gone for longer than 8 hours. I love a good walk but I’m also a big fan of naps. I’m super affectionate so I really just want to cuddle and get a belly rub. I’ll take all the attention I can get so a home with multiple people or another pup would be awesome but one person with a lot of love to give is great too. I’m vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed. Care for a snuggle? Email Meghan at megsells19@gmail.com

unnamedTHIS DOG IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT ALICIA AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Sam is looking for a new home! He is a 9 year old, spayed, 10 lb. doxie. Due to no fault of his own, her humans can no longer care for him. He is currently in LaCenter, WA. Sam loves going for walks on his leash. He isn’t very active anymore. He’s never been real interested in toys. He does enjoy tearing up cardboard rolls sometimes (like an empty tp or paper towel roll). He’s little, but he can eat! He inhales his food very quickly and will eat yours too if he can get to it. He’s very good at adapting to new schedules and routines, but his is pretty regular right now.

Unfortunately, ODR, Inc. is over-full and cannot take him in. If you or anyone you know can help, please share this email or contact their current caretaker, Alicia at  (808) 375-5184  or  alohaalicia@yahoo.com. Thank you!

THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT ISABEL VIA THE CONTACT INFO  BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Gigi is a sweet, fun young kitty!   She is about nine months old and loves to play a lot but will happily lounge on the couch for hours too.   She was living outdoors with her three kittens, and now that they’ve been adopted she is so happy to get to have a bit of childhood for herself.   She is spayed, has no health issues, and has had her first round of shots.   Gigi’s such a joy to have around, she’s affectionate but independent, smart, adaptable, and has lots of spunk.   She hasn’t really become a lap cat yet but loves to be pet and sometimes sleeps at the end of the bed.   She also loves to birdwatch, roll on the rug, tackle catnip mice and stalk bugs.   This busy, cheerful girl does enjoy being an indoor/outdoor cat right now but would also adjust well to being indoor only.   If you’d like to meet Gigi or have any questions, please contact Isabel at 503-758-1615 or  fortcourage@gmail.com.

THESE CATS ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; PLEASE CONTACT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS.-
Ella is a 3 year old cat who likes to cuddle, though not for extensive periods of time. She prefers to cuddle for less than 30 minutes, then take a break to run around or play with a toy for a while; She especially enjoys laserpointers.
Ella has been an outdoor cat before, and an indoor cat for about 2 years. She is currently an indoor cat that takes a few outside hours a day. Ella does not fight with other cats, either outside or when living with other cats. When Ella is an indoor cat she will make efforts to get out, but in the past when this would happen she would usually just run to the end of the driveway and wait to be collected, almost like it was a game.

Cat facts about Ella:

Cuddling – Yes, Ella like to cuddle. She will sit with you while you watch TV, but not usually for more than about 30 minutes, then she goes and sits by herself.
Playful – Ella enjoys toys and lazerpointers.
Murder – Like many cats Ella will murder things, In my house this meant the occasional spider or fly, but if there was a mouse in your house I bet Ella would eat it.
Cat Friendly – Ella has cohabited with other cats in the past and was very friendly with them.
Fixed – Yes, Ella has been fixed.
Shots – Yes, Ella has had all her shots.
Known medical issues – None!
Age – Ella is almost 4 now.
Declawed? – Ella has her original full set of claws
Please feel free to reach out to me with any additional questions via email, or phone. 971-645-9359
