We want to honor the late Laura Fellman, an animal lover and faculty member at Portland Community College who passed away earlier this year. Laura made Pixie the recipient of an extremely kind gift that will expand our ability to help the cats and dogs who need us most. 

Laura’s generosity will have a lasting effect on the pets and people in our community who rely on Pixie. In this time of extreme need, having this gift will help us respond to families in crisis with the urgency these situations require. We’re so honored to be able to put Laura’s life-long love of dogs, especially senior dogs, into action.

Thank you, also, to Laura’s family, who were kind enough to share stories of her life and love of animals.

Made with a variety of stones and beads, including amber, moss agates, peridot, onyx, obsidian, coral, pearls, jasper, and citrine, each bookmark is unique and takes several days to make and wrap. Strung on a steel cable, knotted, crimped, and secured with jewelry-grade Hypo Cement, hook one from a book on your highest shelf and add some bling to your library!

Each bookmark comes wrapped (packaging pictured) by Chuck and every dollar raised goes to help the cats and dogs at Pixie!
