Sweet, affectionate, and full of snuggles, my name is Lilly and I am 12 year old Rat Terrier mix. Weighing in at 13 lbs, I am a petite lady with a giant heart bursting with love that I am ready to share with that special family. As you can see, I am pretty much fully blind, but my foster mom says I navigate really well and even have mastered the two steps that go into the yard. Even though I am pretty adaptable, having to move around a lot or into different rentals would be too much for me  since I would need to keep learning new layouts, so a stable living situation in a house would be my ideal retirement home. I am a pretty laid back gal who is fairly independent but still am always happy to snuggle by your side. I especially love to “burrito” into the blankets, which is where you can find me most of the day. Unless it is a sunny day, and then you can find me sunbathing out in the backyard. Even though I am always down for pets, because I can’t see, I can get startled sometimes and so an adult only home would be best. My foster says that I do really enjoy my walks, especially in a bit quieter neighborhood versus downtown. I have met other dogs and am currently residing with one in my foster, so a mellow dog who will respect my space would be ok. But I perfectly happy being your only pet companion too! My foster says that I am her favorite foster yet, but shhh. Don’t tell her I told you that! If you are looking for an easy going and calm pup who is eager to be your companion, well I am your gal! Fill out an application so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped, spayed with an up to date dental cleaning and bloodwork and an adoption fee of $350.

No batteries needed for this pup as I solely run on terrier energy, treats, and lots of “good girl” affirmations! My name is Elektra and I am an adorable 2 year old Boston Terrier mix weighing in about 20lbs. Being insanely adorable with the cutest underbite you have ever seen, I am very much an energetic puppy at heart. Though I love playing fetch, nothing quite gets my energy out like a nice play session with my dog friends. I can be a bit forward and have a bit of unpolished playstyle which not everyone loves. But a confident adult male doggy who will still play but can teach me some manners would be ideal in my home. I am very social gal who is eager to greet new people. Being quite the bouncy pup, I would do best in a home with older kiddos over 12 who wouldn’t mind me jumping up since I am still learning all the basics. Coming from the South, the city life is pretty new to me and I can be a little nervous in high traffic areas. Thus, a house in a quiet suburb would be perfect for me. Since walks are still fairly new to me, having a yard where I can run around with my dog sibling is ideal. No kitties in my home please. Full of wiggles and smiles, I am very food motivated which helps with my training. My electrifying personality always brings in the laughs as I charm my way into your heart! Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

“That’ll do pig. That’ll do.” Babe here, and I am a 5 yo Beagle mix here to save the day with lots of snuggles and cuddles! At 20lbs, I love being a lap dog, and I promise to curl up extra small so I fit just perfectly. It’s the optimal position for lots of pets! I am a sensitive and shy gal at first, but with some time and lots of those yummy treats, I am ready to be best friends my adult human friends and will greet you with lots of wiggles. I am a little weary of new doggies, but just try and actively avoid them if I don’t feel comfortable. Thus, I tend to get along best with confident adult male dogs around my size. No kitties in my home please. My fosters take me for walks in the neighborhood and I really enjoy it! Especially in the lower traffic areas. Same goes for hikes! They say I am an excellent rider in the car and prefer the lesser frequented trails. I bet I would even enjoy a trip to the beach! When I am not out and about, I really enjoy hanging out in the backyard, soaking up the sun and thus would prefer a house set up versus apartment living.  Sweet, cuddly and oh so cute, it is so rewarding to watch me blossom! I am ready to sprout into my forever home today. Fill out an application to set up a meet! I come to you vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

Hello! Sissy here, and I am just the silly gal you been waiting for! At around 7-8 years old, I am a hilarious and adorable MinPin mix weighing about 9lbs. When I first came to Pixie, I was a little sad since my owner passed away and was a bit nervous. But as soon as I went into a foster home, I opened up quickly! Especially with the help of my doggy friends. In fact, I have always been around dogs most of my life, and they give me a little confidence boost I need. Plus, having friends to run around with is so much fun, and thus I am really looking for a home with another fur friend. It’s just really helps me adapt to new things to have a pal to follow. I didn’t really seem too interested in the office cat at Pixie, so a dog savvy kitty would be fine. After coming out of my shell, I am quite the energetic lady and even my snuggles start off with a body slam. My foster thinks it is pretty cute and hard to resist, and so she always stops what she is doing to give me more snuggles. I am still a pretty sensitive lady and can take a second to warm up to new people, and would do best in a home with kiddos over 12. When I was at Pixie, I did really seem to enjoy my walks outside and now in my foster home, I really enjoy running around the yard while soaking up the sun. Goofy, sweet, and full of personality, I am ready to play with my family and doggy sibling today! Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

Hello! My name is Horton and I am a 10 year old Lhasa Apso. Can you guess what my favorite book is? It’s Horton Hears a Who, of course! Though I am not as big as my elephant counterpart, I do have a giant heart full of love to share with new friends. Not to mention my superb hearing which really comes in handy since I am slightly vision impaired. My foster thinks I might be able to see big movements or shadows, and can anticipate when a curb is coming but other than that, I rely on my other senses to really get the lay of the land. It can take me a second to get used to new environments, so having to move around a lot and get familiar with new places would be a bit difficult for me. Instead, I would be much happier staying in house setting without a ton of stairs (I can manage a few stops at a time), that I can live out the rest of my retirement years in. My lack of vision doesn’t really seem to slow me down when it comes to play. In fact, I absolutely love playing with my toys and bringing them around with me. Tennis balls seem to be my favorite, but the soft squeaky toys are fun too! I am a pretty great walker as well. When I was at Pixie, the staff said the first time they took me on a walk to the park up the street, as soon as I hit the grass, it was instant zoomies! I have always been in an environment with lots of other dogs and even a few kitties, so I am pretty easy going when it comes to having mellow fur siblings in my home. Because of my limited vision, a busy household with a lot of people in and out would not be ideal, and just be a bit overwhelming for me. But in a quiet setting, especially when there are some toys to play with, I easily open up to my human pals over 12. Watching me blossom puts so much joy in the people’s hearts around me, especially after being deprived of a lot of things first growing up. Thus, it’s the little things like the grass between my paws or a tiny who in whoville that I appreciate and enjoy the most.  And I would so love to share these experiences with my forever companion today! Fill out an application, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped with recent bloodwork and a dental, with an adoption fee of $350.

Ciao Bella! Buongiorno! Pleased to meet you you. My name is Bella and I am a 6 year old cattledog mix who is as sweet as a cannoli! At 47 lbs, I am an adorable meatball with a big heart who is very affectionate. When I see new people, I get so excited to say hi and as soon as they start the pets, I plop down in side saddle mode and enjoy the attention. In the home, I would enjoy being with kiddos 12 and up. Though I really enjoy being outside on my walks, I am a bit environmentally sensitive which just means that busy areas with either lots of foot or car traffic can be a bit overwhelming. So I am not a big fan of downtown, but wouldn’t mind a nice quiet neighborhood or suburb where there is less going on. I am a very chill and go with the flow kind of gal. I will take pets over playing with toys, and curling up on the couch or sunbathing in the yard are my favorite activities! No kitties in my home please. I have met a few dogs here at Pixie and can be a bit selective with my friends, but I wouldn’t mind hanging with a confident mellow pal. I am more of a people dog anyways. I mean why play with other dogs when you can get belly rubs and tasty treats?!  I am just a happy and silly gal full of cuddles and snuggles to share with my new best friend today! Fill out an application, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped. and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

Who is dashing, charming, has a great smile, and totally rocks a leather jacket? It’s Stamos of course! That’s my name and being handsome is the game. At 3 years old and 22lbs, not much is known about my exact breed mix, but based on my personality, the best guess would be a Min Pin/Beagle mix. I am a seriously playful dude with love of squeaky toys and tennis balls. I lived with another dog most my life and having a play buddy around not only helps me get out some extra energy, but helps me increase my confidence out in the world. Being from a more rural area in the South, high traffic areas are a bit overwhelming. But in a quieter area with a dog buddy to tag along with, I feel a lot more comfortable and happy to follow along. I can be very playful, so an older dog may not want me up in their grill, but a confident adult sibling will really help me open up and keep me entertained. I am pretty outgoing with new people I meet, though I still have a bit of sensitive side. Thus, I am looking for a home with kiddos over 12. Sometimes I jam a little too hard when practicing with my rock band, so I would also do best in a house without shared walls with neighbors. With kitties, I tend to be a little exuberant in my play and like to chase, so no cats in my home please! After some activity, I am quite the snugglebug and would love to curl up with you on the couch while getting some pets. Silly, sweet, and downright lovable, this cool cat-I mean dog- is ready to find my forever home today! Will it be with you? Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

“We’re tiny, we’re tooney, we’re all a little looney!” We are Rocky and Foofa, and we are doing our best silly impressions so we can become the next Looney Toons! We would be the perfect fit after all. Our antics are so entertaining that the Pixie gals can’t help but laugh and giggle at us. We are both 8 year old Chihuahuas weighing at about 7lbs each. We have come out of our shell a lot, but we are still a little shy when we meet new people. We have to keep working on our confidence building if we want to be comedians though, and we are quick to come around with a little patience and some treats. We are very much a dynamic duo who has been with each other since we were pups, so we are pretty attached at the hip. Our act just wouldn’t work as a solo anyways, so we will stick together! We are quite the talkative pair with a lot to say. Loud and proud, and very silly, we definitely should be in a house without shared walls with neighbors in a quieter area. Not everyone loves what we have to say after all. You know those critics can be so harsh! We have met other mellow small dogs at Pixie as well as some kitties too and we don’t really mind. We may talk their ear off for a bit, but then it’s back to exploring the smells in the yard and practicing our acts. We like sitting on laps and getting lots of attention from our adult human pals. And of course we adore each other and will cuddle, snuggle, and groom each other in preparation for our big auditions. After all, it’s not everyday that you get to tryout for your forever family, so we must do everything to prepare! Anvils falling from the sky, silly voices, and roadrunners with dynamite, we will have it all in our Tiny Toons Adventure show! So fill out an application today to set up a meet with these two clowns. We come to you vaccinated, fixed, and micro-chipped with a total adoption fee of $350.
