Hi there! My name is Osita! I am a 1 year old spaniel mix who is SO ready to come home to a family of my very own! I originally came from the south and sadly tested positive for heart worm when I arrived in the PNW. Thankfully I’ve had the best foster mum to take the best care of me while undergoing treatment. My foster mum was able to really get to know me which will help Pixie match me to my happily ever after. I overheard my foster mum saying she would keep me if not for the fact that I sooo love being around other dogs and she wants to see me shine and live my best life! She’s right, my best life would be one where I have dog siblings! You see, when I was a pup, I didn’t meet many people, so I can be reserved at first when meeting new people. But another dog, ESPECIALLY one that’s very confident with people, really helps build my confidence! A patient and loving home is exactly what I need to bring out my sweet personality. I tend to get startled in high traffic areas, so I would do best living on a quieter street. Even though I can get a little startled, I’m not really a barker! I guess you could say I am on the quieter side. I particularly adore children, so a home with well behaved, respectful children or grandchildren would be such a perk for me! Cats, not unlike squirrels, look fun to chase although my foster mum thinks a swat from a kitty may change my views on chasing cats. I have a beautiful coat and I am so good when I’m groomed that my foster mum can hardly believe it! Of course I shed, so be prepared to have some dog hair in your life- and not to brag, I’m totally worth it! My foster mama says I am easy to train, great in the car, and I get sooooo excited about my chewy treats. All in all, I am an eager-to-please girl looking to find her forever home. If you think that you fit the bill, fill out an application here! I come to you spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccinations for an adoption fee of $350.

Hiya Hey I’m Luna! I’m a year and a half year old chihuahua who is looking for my forever home. Not only am I adorable, I am also VERY loving. I am looking for a home where I can be adored. I love giving my people kisses and cuddling. IT’S MY FAVORITE! I LOVE my treats and will do a happy dance just for one! I am a tiny thing, weight just below 7 pounds. I like being outside, especially if the sun is out! I can be nervous at times and chew to relieve my anxiety. Toys, hard or soft are a must! I do well with other dogs and have lived with a cat but tend to be overpowered because cats are very likely to be bigger than me. I would do better in an adult only home, but gentle older teens may be ok. I get scared with loud noises and tend to hide under the couch or bed, whichever I see first. My ideal home would have adults that are not going to leave me alone at home for long periods of time. My people would talk to me with love and be patient with me. They would love cuddles! An apartment wouldn’t be a great fit, only because as most chihuahuas, I do like to protect my humans from all and every person that walks by with my bark. I also LOVE a yard. When saying hi to me, don’t get too excited, that makes me excited and I tinkle! I come to you microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed for an adoption fee of $350. If I sound like the little companion for you, fill out an application today!

My name is Snowie and I’m a 13lb, female Jack Russel Terrier Mix who is about to have my first birthday! All I want for my birthday is my very own forever home! I am high energy- I love my walks, playing ball, and playing with my toys. I am a little shy when it comes to meeting new people so a quiet home with no children or cats would be appreciated. I’m used to having a person at home with me so I’d love to find a person who’s a homebody. Not unlike many terriers, I can be a bit of a town crier when it comes to barking at the fence or windows so my perfect fit would be a house, not an apartment, with limited foot traffic and bustle. And finally, I’d really like an older doggy brother! Someone to show me the ropes in my new home. My ideal doggy bro will be over the age of two, very confident and friendly with people to help me gain confidence and will be playful but also has a  chill mode. I come to you microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed for an adoption fee of $350. If you think you can make my doggy birthday wish come true, fill out the adoption application here

If you’re looking for a pup that’s a lil bit smaller, a lil bit older, and a LOT a bit adorable, Lil Bit is the guy for you! Lil Bit is an 8 year old chihuahua mix looking for his forever home. He is a mellow, sweet tempered lad would like a child free home to call his own. Lil Bit is a quiet boy that could be the perfect addition to your work from home or retirement lifestyle. Even though he’s on the older side, he still has plenty of energy to zoom around and be silly after he eats his meals- and then goes for a little nap. He may not be a mountaineer but he has been known to bask outside on sunny days. Lil Bit has been described as a home body and a world class bedtime snuggler. His very favorite thing to do is sit in his bed and watch the world around him. He is a canine social butterfly, too! This little man loves companionship and needs to go to a home with another dog to be his pal. He comes to you microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered for an adoption fee of $350. If he seems like your perfect pal, fill out an application here!

Meet Phoebe! She is a 6 year old poodle mix who happens to be an absolute ray of sunshine. Between her stick-straight-out ears, bright eyes, and spunky personality, what’s not to love?! This little lady gets along well with dogs, cats, and other creatures she may encounter. She loves her people, and is an absolute social star. One of her current favorite activities is licking her foster brother’s ears at bedtime. Phoebe needs to be placed in a home with another dog.  She loves a little walk in the yard where she can sniff to her heart’s content. Phoebs would thrive in a home with kids over age 8. She has some mobility issues with her hips which causes a little soreness, but that doesn’t dull her spirit one little bit. It’s important to note that Phoebe is a sworn enemy of hardwood floors and much prefers a comfy carpet, although her foster mama says that putting booties on her paws helps with both traction and confidence. Like most little dogs, she will definitely let you know when someone is at the door! Because of this, she would do well living in a house in a calmer neighborhood. Phoebe is joyful, quirky, and would make an excellent addition to the right home. She comes microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated, with an adoption fee of $350. If this funky, laid back pup seems like the perfect match, then you can fill out an application here.

Hiya! I’m Missy, a 10 year old Chiweenie. I may be a little older, but don’t let my age fool you! I am a sweet heart and I still have so much love to give. I am an amateur adventurer, so while I LOVE a good walk, I prefer a little jaunt instead of a big hike. I’m told I am very polite on a leash. Another favorite pass time of mine is to give my foster family kisses while I lounge on their lap. I do get a little spooked with loud sudden noises, so I think I would do best in a calm, quieter home with a kids that are 12 and older. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster family and I would love to have a dog sibling of my very own. In my ideal home, I would love another mellow and confident pup to be my friend. I’m cool with cats, too! I could see myself buddying up with a dog-savvy kitty. Overall I am an even keeled, lovely little lady who is waiting for my perfect family to come along. I come spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and I have an adoption fee of $350. If I seem like your new best friend, fill out an application here!

Are you and your current pup looking for another companion? One that is smart, spunky, high energy, hilarious and do I dare say, adorable? Then look no further as I am your gal! The name is Cleo and I am a 3 year old Papillion mix weighing in at 17lbs. I was a bit of a loner before I got to Pixie, which made departures from my human pals that I bonded with a little difficult. But after going into a foster with another dog friend, I have quickly come out of my shell and am much more relaxed when I have a buddy to follow. Thus, another male dog my size in the home is needed. My foster fur sibling wasn’t much of a player at first, but I was determined and so now they will sometimes get a little spunky and will give in to my antics. Those dog savvy kitties are ok too! Everyone was very surprised to find that I am quite playful, caring toys from room to room and enjoying ball in the backyard, which of course leads me into the zoomies. I absolutely love chilling in the backyard, which is a great outlet for me since I sometimes get a little excited seeing other dogs on walks, so running around in the yard is less overstimulating. I do need a house setup without shared walls with neighbors and a quieter area would be nice as sometimes lots of traffic and construction noises can make me a little nervous. I can take a second to warm up to new people over 12, but once I do, I am your best friend until the end! Fill out an application for me today to set up a meet. I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped with an adoption fee of $350.

*ATHENA IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT LAURA AT laurahall33@gmail.com *

My name is Athena—I’m pretty, tiny, silly, and very, very, very clever. My humans tell me I am whip-smart. I am a pure-bred Mini American Shepard female (Aussie) and weigh around 15 lbs. I am almost a year old but still a baby and need to learn the ways of the world. I am a bit anxious and shy and will need some time to adjust to a new environment. But I have a TON of energy. I greet everyone I love with a big wiggle and demand that you pay attention to me and ensure that I know you are home!

I will do best in a kid-free (no kids) home with an established adult with a predictable schedule, preferably working from home, retired, or who can spend a lot of time with me and go for lots of walks and play with me. Preferred that you have experience with herding dog breeds. I also would do well in a low-noise, low-traffic area, as loud noise can make me feel nervous. The mail delivery person is loud and upsets me. I will need a fenced-in yard to spend time in, no apartments, and frequent walks to keep me out of trouble. And, as I am still a puppy, it would be great and helpful to live with a calm and confident adult male dog (over the age of 2) that could play with me and teach me how to socialize and become more confident, play with me, and lower my stress levels. I will also do well in a home with no other pets.

I am full of LOVE and have a lot to give, but I have a bit of anxiety and will need a calm, patient human who will understand me. I am very smart, and if you try to trick me, I will not respond. I need positive, science-based, humane training and reinforcement. It might take some time to build trust. ABSOLUTELY NO punishment or dominance theory training. It won’t work.

I like sitting outside, watching, taking naps, and playing ball. I want to go for walks and am terrific on a leash. I currently live with my friend, Cat, who is patient, but I like to play with him, and sometimes it annoys Cat. I like my crate when the humans leave—I feel safe. I am a slow eater, and I don’t want to be alone while I am eating.

Microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is $450.
