*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT CANDACE AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE INFO*

Sadie is a 9 year old short hair, 11 lb. Black colored doxie. Sadie is up to date on her shots but is not spayed. She has greatly improved from a paralyzed hind end (Hind Limb Paresis-Cord Lesion). She can walk, but its a bit of an awkward walk. She requires her urine to be expressed by her owner, and needs to be let outside often to avoid accidents. Her current owner has had good luck with doggie diapers but it needs to be strapped on tight or she will wiggle right out of it. Sadie is good with kids but should not be in a home with other dogs/cats. She travels well in the car, is leash trained and knows basic commands. She loves to cuddle with you under the blanket and take naps in her doggie bed. She enjoys short walks but you will need to go slow and at her own pace. She really likes to cuddle with you, have her tummy rubbed and give you lots of kisses! This special senior needs a lot of TLC, patience and understanding, but she still has a lot of love to give! Please contact her current owner Candace at  (503) 789-1306.

Why hello! You just caught us waking up from a nice   long snuggle session. My name is Lucy and I am the 3 year old cute apricot and tan Chihuahua in the bottom picture there. My partner in crime is my 10 year old sibling, Gemma! We are looking for a nice place to get some rest and relaxation after our big spays and dentals. Our ideal spa day would be in a quieter home with older kids over 13 and other mellow social animal friends. I am the more confident pup who does love to romp around with my play pals every now again, whereas Gemma is mostly a snuggler. A pro snuggler at that! We both still enjoy our walks and are not phased by traffic noises, etc. I am more of a hiker type and my sis is more a short distance runner if you know what I mean. But don’t tell her I said that! Hehe. What can I say? She is my best friend! Will you help these BFF’s get some rest today? Available for foster or adoption, fill out an application today! We come to you spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, up to date on dentals for an adoption fee of $350.

Oh hi! My name is Rufus and I am a scruffy, lovable Lhasa mix. At 8 years young, I am still quite spunky and do like my daily walks outside. I can’t see very well though and do tend to bump into things, but with you by my side, I am happy and confident you will lead the way! I do have some eye drops that I will need to keep on doing for awhile. I wasn’t a big fan at first, but they make me feel better-plus, the treats make it all totally worth it! I seem to be indifferent to other dogs and cats. I would do best in an adult only owned home with not a lot of stairs to navigate. Just a quiet place to retire, run around the yard, and get lots of cuddles from my favorite people. Sound like your ideal time too? Then fill out an application today, so we can set up a meet! Up for adoption or foster, I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

A very sweet, loving black lab/ pit terrier mix is in need of a calm and dedicated environment. She was rescued last year in Northern California after being found on the streets. She is 3-3.5 years old, weighs about 45 pounds. She is very timid and shy but loves to go for walks and cuddle up right next to you for a movie. She does not have a mean bone in her body and has never shown aggression towards any animals or people (she lived in a home with two kids as well as two dogs without incident).  She is on Prozac and will need to continue the prescription in order to make her life more enjoyable and comfortable. Due to her being a pit mix, she must go to a family that are homeowners. Her ideal environment: Quiet but interactive in training her and giving her the attention she needs. She is a wonderful dog who has the potential to thrive to the fullest with the combination of her medication, training, and lots of love. -THIS DOG IS NOT BEING PLACED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT SEAN AT THE INFO BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Kiya is sweet, intelligent, and full of energy. She loves to run off leash and explore!!! Kiya needs a lot of exercise. A big, fenced yard would be wonderful for her. She is incredibly intelligent and gets bored easily, this can lead to digging holes or jumping fences if she doesn’t get enough attention and exercise. Kiya does great at dog parks and on walks and is friendly with other dogs. She has not lived with cats. The perfect home situation for her would be a home with lots of available attention, a large yard, and a very active pet parent. Kiya would not do well being the only dog left home for 8 hours a day alone.

8 years old, 60+ lbs

I am very sad to be rehoming Kiya as I rescued her over 4 1/2 years ago from a very neglectful and violent situation. She has been a beloved member of my family. I am rehoming her as we are moving across country and she has an aversion to crates that would make it unfair to fly her and put her through that amount of stress. I will ask for an in-home visit at your house–a $50 rehoming fee applies. I am looking to rehome Kiya to a financially stable home that can afford high-quality food and, when needed, medical care. She has a tumor on her rump which I’ve assumed is a fatty tumor that we have not had the means to have checked out. i currently live in Portland, OR. We lived in Eugene up until 2 years ago and Kiya is an established patient at Healing Paws in Eugene. Please only inquire if you sound like a good fit for Kiya’s needs. You got a little something on you face, a little schmutz of something, a little Smudge…smothering you with kisses! Hehe! The name is Smudge and I am an adorable 5 month old Chihuahua/Terrier puppy with a guesstimated adult weight of about 10-15lbs. But for right now, I am a little pint size pup ready to learn more about the world and play with all my friends! I am hilarious gal who is exuberant and ready to explore. I have already met some magnificent doggy pals here at Pixie. My buddy Sammy and I just run around the play yard playing chase games. And I am even super social to those savvy kitties too. Since I am in a big phase of life where I am learning so many new things, I really need to be with   kids over 10. PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION!  Toys seem to be my favorite thing right now, and I just love playing with those squeaker ones that the volunteers give me. I am a sweetie and my charming puppy antics are sure to make you smile! Fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you micro-chipped, spayed, vaccinated with an adoption fee of $400.

Mac

Look at my handsome mug! If you were to look in the dictionary under Chihuahua, you would see this adorable picture of me! Ha! My name is Mac and I am about as cute as they come! Did I mention that already? I am a happy go lucky 5 year old guy who never let’s anything bring me down! I am very confident, maybe too confident as I have a bit of that tough guy attitude. It takes me a minute to warm up to you, but treats and butt scratches get me revved up and ready to go! Once you hit the sweet spot right before the tail, I speed across the room, goofing off and coming back around for more. I am a silly little dude for sure! I can be cautious around some new people, especially men, but open up with time and would need to be in a low traffic adult only home. But my doggy pals?! Oh my gosh! I could just play for hours. Doing little dances and prances, and getting the zoomies! And guess what?  I don’t mind those cats either. With my tiny legs, I am not much of a hiker, but I enjoy running around a nice fenced yard . Silly and utterly cute, I am ready to make you laugh today! So fill out an application and we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered with an adoption fee of $350.
