“High, Wide and Handsome” and that’s just not describing the treasure state itself, but me too! My name is Montana and I am a 1 year old 100% yellow lab weighing in at around a whomping 90lbs! I am big boy with and even bigger heart that I am ready to share with my forever family. My foster mom said I am easy to fall in love with and am a super affectionate pup. And I am pretty dang smart as well, and am already perfectly crate trained, walk really well on leash, and starting to getting the hang of “drop it” when playing fetch. But I could still use some of the basics and a BASIC TRAINING CLASS IS REQUIRED FOR MY ADOPTION. I just love hanging out with my doggy pals and my foster home has a few with lots of space that I get to run around all day. I can still be a little bit of a young doofus though and would do better as the only dog in the home or a older female who can teach me a few tricks. But hanging out with doggy friend at a Thousand Acres or going on a buddy hike would be right up my alley too! Because of my big size, I would love a yard to romp around in so apartments would be too small for me. I seem to ignore cats on my walks, so I could probably hang with a super confident and dog savvy kitty. And of course I just adore all my human pals over 10 that can handle my bounciness and big silly antics. Lovable, handsome, and hilarious, I am ready to start our adventures today! Fill out an application, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $450

Hi! My name is Frank and I’m a lovable, adorable 8 year old Doxie/Beagle mix weighing in at 13lbs. I’m a pretty easy going guy who is eager to share my love with you! My likes and hobbies include: snuggles, naps, hotdog eating contests, walks around the block, and hang time with my friends. Whether it’s my human pals over 15, other pups, and those dog savvy kitties too, I am very friendly and eager to please! I can be a little shy around newer dogs, so a mellow pup like me would be an ideal companion. Being extremely food motivated, I am easy to train, and really enjoy a routine. What more can I say? I am just a go with the flow kind of guy who is just happy to hang out. Did I mention how good looking I am? Guess, I am just the whole package! So what’s on our agenda for today? Fill out an application, so we can find out! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, neutered with an up to date dental and an adoption fee of $350.

Hello! My name is Chloe and I am a 4 year old Chihuahua mix at 8 lbs. The Pixie gals call me the super snuggler because, well to be honest, I just really love cuddles and lap time!! I am a very social gal who is eager to meet my human pals over 8.   Though I am not into long walks, I do have quite a bit of spunk and would enjoy running around the yard or playing with a doggy pal. I adore my four legged friends, both pup and kitty alike, and would be happy to have them join in on the fun! I’m not terribly into toys at the shelter, but I feel like once I get into my home, I will open up even more and enjoy some fetch. But at the end of the day, it’s back in your lap again as we take in the summer sun and relax, sipping ice teas, and enjoying each other’s company. You might notice I have a little bit of cherry eye, but that will get tacked down during my scheduled dental, so that will be all taken care of soon. So what do say, ready to have some super snuggles together today? Then fill out an application, so we can meet! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed with an up to date dental with an adoption fee of $350. Interested in fostering me while I search for my forever home? -THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT EFFY AT 971-322-6910 FOR MORE DETAILS.-

Breed: Chow Chow Mix

Age: 7-8 years old

Weight: 85lbs

Energy Level: He’s not an athlete… He loves walks, usually 1-2 a day, he doesn’t know how to play with toys or anything, but he can wrestle! He’s really just happy to spend the day chewing bones and napping, and sitting in the grass (in a well-fenced yard!) to watch the day go by.

His perfect home: No Cats, No Small Animals, No Kids. Low traffic, adult-only home. Fenced yard. A chill suburb or rural home would be great, he doesn’t do well with busy city sounds. There’s no need for dog parks or tons of exciting car-ride adventures (though he’s gone camping before & enjoyed napping in the woods on leash). The more routine & laid back his life is, the better. He does great with structure and predictable day-to-day life. Maybe if someone is retired or works from home? He shouldn’t be alone for more than 5-6 hours.

He could be okay with one other dog in the family, like a laid-back female dog or an especially laid-back, older male dog. He’s made a couple casual dog friends before, and when he got to know them, he began watching them to learn how to be a dog! (He’s really like a very big cat!)

He’s shy with people at first, needs proper introductions with everyone, and lots of space to retreat to until he feels comfortable. Once he knows you & loves you thought, he is so sweet and loves to lay down next to you and cuddle. He’s incredibly loving with his people.

Doesn’t have accidents in the house.
Doesn’t dig holes or jump fences (he can’t really jump, he’s a little top-heavy).

He’s so smart! He learns quickly. Lots of repetition in his routine would bring out his really good manners!  Not a very vocal dog at all, he rarely barks, even when he’s nervous or alarmed.  We’ve been working on him being crate trained! He’ll eat his meals in the crate and will go in willingly if you have hot dogs.    He has a couple dietary needs (no beef, no poultry, high quality kibble or raw diet would be ideal, loves fish). If interested, please contact Effy at 971-322-6910 or willwork4paws@gmail.com

Hi! My name is Quinn. I’m a fixed 2 year old Border Collie. If you want a loving dog, I am it! I think nothing is better than playing fetch and getting belly rubs (besides maybe my favorite treat, red cabbage). I can take some time to warm up to strangers, but after that, we’ll be friends forever. I need a lot of physical activity and would do best in a home with lots of room and land to run around. I suffer from anxiety and would do best with an owner that has experience with doggie anxiety and that can be consistent with life. I would be better off in a home without children or cats. If you think that you could provide me a loving, forever home, then I would love to meet you.   Please call Hayden at 916-205-4072 for more details.

By George, I think you got it!   The love for me, of course! My name is George and I am an adorable 12 year old Silky Terrier mix weighing in at 13lbs. I was found by my friends in Clackamas county in pretty rough shape but everyone’s help, I was able to get back into shape, while looking and feeling great! I am a pretty easy going guy who loves to just max and relax in the warm summer sun. Each day, my foster says I am coming out of my shell and getting more spunky and playful. I don’t mind the other mellow dogs or cats at her place, and would enjoy being around older kids over 12. My foster mom even says I am in love my crate and she hasn’t really heard me ever make a peep! I’m down for a little walk around the block or hanging out in the yard, but then it’s back to cuddling and napping. Overall, I am just an adorable super chill guy who is ready to relax with you today! Fill out an application, so we can meet! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an up to date dental and an adoption fee of $350.

Jinkies!   My name is Velma and I am a sweet 1 year old 7 lb Chihuahua who is figuring out the mystery and following the clues that will lead me to my new family! Smart, quiet, and oh so cute, my foster mom says I am such an easy going gal who goes with the flow and gets a long with everyone I meet! I can take a few minutes to open up with new people, but you can instantly tell that I am girl who is ready to bond with that special someone. I all about those snuggles and would love to accompany you on the couch on a rainy day watching some of our favorite mysteries! But I can still enjoy other activities too, and enjoy wrestling and playing with all my furry friends, cat and dog, and my human pals over 12. My foster mom even found out that I don’t mind swimming in the pool. Though floating on a raft is more my vibe! City noises are still kind of scary and though NW 23rd isn’t my style, I wouldn’t mind a quieter neighborhood in town. I seem to be a lot more confident surrounded by my Mystery INC doggy pals, and would love to join a family where I could have doggy siblings! So grab some scooby snacks, and fill out an application for me today! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY, PLEASE CONTACT DEBBIE AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS.*

Jojo is a 10 year old short hair, 14 lb. Red colored doxie. He is neutered and up to date on his shots and flea prevention. He has an allergy to some shots, but is otherwise a happy healthy senior! He gets along well with other dogs and kids but has not been around cats. Jojo is house trained, travels well in the car, and is leash trained with a harness. He knows basic commands but tends to bark, so with some training he should do better. He has a very sweet personality but like most dachshunds can be a bit stubborn. Jojo loves to snuggle and has been excellent with the family’s young kids. If you can give this loving cuddly senior a new forever home please contact his current caretaker, Debbie, directly at  (360) 431-7434.
