3/15/2023 *Emma and Frasier ARE NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT Patrick AT 951-972-0498 FOR MORE DEATILS*

Hi there! We are a bonded pair of terriers named Emma and Frasier! Emma is 7 years old and Frasier is 15 but thinks he’s 8. We are fun loving, and we look forward to our walks. Frasier has arthritis in his right front shoulder so he likes a bit shorter walk. We will let you know when we see peeps walking around outside who we don’t recognize. For that reason we do best in a quiet home with little foot traffic outside. We would also like to be in a home with no cats or kids. We are looking for an experienced adult only home with some space – best would be a farm or rural area, we recently lived on a 5 acre ranch! Our hobbies include playing, eating treats, and cuddling up with our human or each other. We also love toys! We would love a household with a predictable schedule so we can live out our golden years happily. We are healthy, smart, curious, playful and loving! Our adoption fee is $250.

DOLLY IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT DOLLY’S FOSTER FAMILY @ 617-797-8185 OR BEST FRIENDS OF BAKER

Dolly is a large mixed breed under one year and very active but was diagnosed with significant hip dysplasia. She will need a special adopter that understands her limitations and is willing to provide lifelong veterinary care to keep her comfortable and happy. She’s been in a foster home since November and is a delight to have around, with her goofy personality and love of people.

Dolly‘s Petfinder profile is linked below and a couple photos are attached.

Thank you so much!

*MARLEY IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT JULLIA AT julliaalexander@gmail.com FOR MORE DEATILS*

Hey there! My name is Marley. I’m a nine year old lab/husky/ridgeback weighing approx. 98lbs. I am a calm, reserved wise man with a soft and sensitive soul. Sometimes my puppy side comes out and I can be a playful and goofy boy.

My favorite place to be besides at your side is snuggled up on the couch or sleeping at your bedside. I am protective and loyal with the patience of a lion when it comes to small prey entering my yard. A home without cats and small animals is ideal. I enjoy walks but am quite strong. I will walk you if you let me. Someone with a confident, strong, yet soft and patient personality would suit me best. I also enjoy an adventure in the woods and the freedom to run on the beach.

Meeting new people is great once I get my initial sniff in. After that, feel free to give me your best scratches on the chest or tush! I enjoy the company of other dogs and am quite tolerant and respectful of size difference when it comes to playing. If I were to have a home with another dog, a strong and confident female who isn’t overly rambunctious would be the best fit for me. I love toys and tasty treats but can become cautious and weary if I think I have to share. Another dog who guards would not work. Small children make me anxious and nervous, so a home without children is a must.

Because I’m an older dog, my need for health-care will increase as well as the need for a home and transportation with my joints and I in mind. I have a granuloma (small open wound) that comes and goes due to excessive licking. This is something that I’ve done my entire life. A family or person(s) who has a stable income, commitment, and ability to keeping me at my healthiest and happiest is the owner for me.

If you’re looking for that calm yet goofy big softy, an companion whom will be by your side no matter what with the biggest heart, you’ve found him. And who knows, if I think you’re extra special, I just might give you a kiss.

I am currently on the wait list for a neuter.

My adoption fee is $400 with some refundable after the neuter.

We’re looking for a few specialty dog fosters! We have a few bigger pups who are looking for more-experienced fosters who have a little extra space: homes with yards, not-super-busy neighborhoods, maybe neighbors who are far enough away that they’re not going to be bothered by some new neighbors. (Not all of our dogs have these requirements: we just have a group right now that are used to a little more space and a little less city and we want to make sure we help them settle in as best we can!) If you fit the bill, check out our foster application on our website or email info@pixieproject.org . You can also check out the dogs who are looking for foster homes at pixieproject.org
