Looking for a new Buddy? Well look no further-I’m your guy! I am a 7-8 year old mix weighing around 50 lbs. Mix of what you ask? Beats me! A little lab, a little shepherd, perhaps? Being from Texas, not a lot is known about my life before coming to Pixie. But I am such an outgoing and friendly guy, clearly someone socialized me well! You might notice that my eyes are little cloudy. Well I do happen to have limited vision, but it doesn’t slow me down at all! In fact, I still go on daily walks with the volunteers and even have a mellow doggy friend I hang out with in playgroup. The trainer says that I would be a good office dog, as I just love being around people. Sometimes I will even jump up and give them a big hug! Since I don’t have the best vision, I would do best in a home without a lot of stairs so I don’t take a tumble, older kiddos over 10, and potentially a chill dog or kitty sibling who won’t mind me bumping in to them a time or two. Overall, I am a very good boy whose cheerfulness brings instant joy to any room! Let me put a smile on your face today, as we share adventures and lots of cuddles! Fill out an application and we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $350.

Mia

Hello! My name is Mia and I am a super cute 4 year old Cattledog mix weighing in around 45 lbs. I am such a delightful Southern Peach! See I am not used to this city life quite yet being from the rural South. I do ok on my daily potty walks, but I would feel much more comfortable with some space in a quieter neighborhood. After some time at Pixie, I really have become a social butterfly with my adult human pals! Though I have made a few doggy friends at Pixie, I would get overwhelmed by places like dog parks, so one on one play with a friend would be best. No kitties in my home please! I am a smart gal who is very food motivated which is great for my training. I  even am really good at crating! But I could still benefit from learning some of the basics, from “sit” to leash manners. I am eager to please, so I will be a quick learner for sure! The kennel techs say that I enjoy playing fetch with my favorite toys, especially those tennis balls. Goofy and sweet,  I am an active gal looking for a job to do and someone to do it with! So fill out an application today and we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

Did someone order a grande Cappuccino and a tall Latte? Well here we are! The perfect little espresso beans here to make sure you have a brew-tiful day! We are both chihuahua terrier mixes with Latte being 6 years old and 8lbs, whereas I, Cap, am 11 years old and 16lbs. We are like two coffee beans in a pod and are looking for a home together. Being quiet and sensitive, we are looking for a mellow adult only household with someone who loves cuddling as much as we do! I am always eager to run up and greet you, though Latte can take a second to warm up to the optimal temperature. We are both into snuggles and would probably enjoy walks in  a low traffic area or running around in a fenced yard. We have met some doggy friends here at Pixie and though we are very tolerant, we would love to be your only coffee choices in the home. Latte does have cherry eyes that will be fixed in an upcoming surgery, but other than that we are both in good shape and have been fixed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and even had routine dentals! Coffee and friends are the perfect blend, so fill out an application for us today. Our total adoption fee if $350. Interested in fostering us while we find our forever home? Hello! My name is Snoopy and I am a 6 year old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix weighing 12 lbs. Being a terrier mix, I am full spunk and energy! A lot of times people think that means I need a lot of physical activity, but sometimes I really just need some mental stimulation too! I would be a great candidate for nosework games or interactive food toys and puzzles. Being very treat motivated, I catch on to things pretty quickly. Though bigger dogs are not my style, I like to play with the little guys my size. I am forward greeter, but always end up being flirty! No kitties in my home please. Being such a people lover, I am always eager to greet my human pals over 8, and of course always down for some play! Fetch, anyone? I do great on my daily walks with the Pixie volunteers. Apartment life with elevators and hallways isn’t ideal, but I could be ok in a condo or duplex. Though I can sometimes be aloof, if you offer the attention first, I am all for it! Silly, cute, and a bit awkward, I am a fun guy who can’t wait to share adventures with my new family! So fill out an application and we can set up a meet! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $350.

Flying straight into your heart is everyone’s favorite luck dragon, Falkor! I am a 10 month old Long Haired Chihuahua mix weighing in at 12 lbs. Just like my favorite fictional character for whom I am named, I am a sweet and sensitive guy who is eager to bond with that special someone. It can take me a second to warm up, but once I do, I am a wiggly delight who loves to please! I am new to the big city and am still getting used to the sights and sounds. I am slowly adjusting and would need to start off in a quieter neighborhood. Because I am a little sensitive, I would do best with patient kiddos over 10 who can help me with my training. PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION! But once we start to bond, you can instantly see how fun and spunky I really am! And those cuddles? Can’t get enough! I do enjoy my puppy pals in playgroup at Pixie, and I don’t seem to mind those kitties either! Handsome and sweet, I am ready to start on our own Neverending Story today! Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $350.

Val

Hi! My name is Val, but my foster calls me Valerie. Big, bold and beautiful and at 13 years young, I am a Min Pin weighing in at 25 lbs. I am a pretty mellow gal who enjoy butt scritches and cuddles on the couch. In fact, if you stop petting me, I will gently paw at you for more! Though I am mostly about snoozing and staying warm under the covers, I am trying to stay active and really enjoy my afternoon strolls around the block and running around exploring the yard. And my foster says that sometimes I will even try and get one of her bigger doggies to play! I am still just as vivacious and spunky as ever.  In fact, I am currently on a weight loss plan to get back in shape to keep up with those young’uns! I am excitable gal always eager to meet dogs, kitties, and new people over 12. Also, I should mention that I technically can’t really jump on the couch anymore but I always get a head start and my foster mom helps me the rest of the way. So a home with a lot of stairs wouldn’t be the best fit. When I am not snuggling up with you on the couch, you can find me playing with my stuffies. And oh boy, do I love my toys. Even at 13, you can’t get this girl to stop playing which is a perfect exercise for me! Hilarious, cuddly and oh so cute, is this Val your perfect gal pal? Fill out an application today and we can set up a meet! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped with routine bloodwork and a dental and an adoption fee of $350.

CHANCE

11 years old

Breed:  Puggle

Size:  32 lbs

Neutered, chipped & up to date on all vaccines

Chance is a loving 11 year old male puggle that we need to find a new home for. We have had him since he was a puppy, however we have recently had a baby and are having difficulty with the transition to having a little one running around. He is energetic, loves to play fetch, can come along for a run and is a great cuddler.

Chance would be best suited in a home as an only dog, children over 12 years old and room to run around (regular exercise is a must). He regularly goes to daycare, so is well socialized, but does have some anxiety so will bark at other dogs and people coming to the door.  Responds well to positive reinforcement training and basic commands (sit, stay, come).  He is 32 lbs., neutered, potty trained, healthy and up to date on all his shots.

This has been a very difficult decision for our family and we want the best for this wonderful dog, so hoping to find a loving home that will take great care of him. Asking for $150 that can be applied to a dog training fees to help with the transition.

Bonnie is my name and being super sweet and cute is my game! I am a 9 year old Chihuahua weighing in at 8lbs. Don’t I look so adorable in my fall sweater? I am new to all this rain and chilliness, since I am from sunny California. But I don’t mind it. Especially if I have a snuggly lap to get cozy on. And maybe an extra blanket on top too! I am a very social lady who is eager to meet my human pals over 14. I can be a little sensitive and the traffic can be a little overwhelming, but I wouldn’t mind walking around in a quieter neighborhood. I have met a few new doggy pals and though I am not super playful, I am very polite and wouldn’t mind having another mellow doggy or kitty friend in the home. The trainer says I am a quiet gal who would do great in an apartment like setting in a low traffic area. In regards to my favorite things to do, well it is pretty simple really: eating tasty treats, snuggling, cuddling, and being a total coach potato! Ready to burrito in the blankets with me while watching some Netflix? Fill out an application today, so we can set up a meet. I am in the very early stages of kidney disease and will need to be on a special diet, along with routine bloodwork every 6 months. I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.
