*Snort Snort* Is it a piglet? No, it’s a puglet! Hi everyone. My name is Gunther and I am a 1 yo Pug/Boston Terrier mix weighing around 14lbs. Being a total goofball, I enjoy being entertaining and making people smile. Very social and upbeat, I am a happy guy who gets along with everyone I meet! I do still have a lot of basics to learn, though I am very food motivated which makes for easy training. A BASIC TRAINING CLASS IS REQUIRED FOR MY ADOPTION! As for my favorite activities, well I am a super playful guy, so you can find me playing with my dog friends or chasing after toys, or sniffing along my favorite walking route. With kitties, I do like to try and play and thus a young dog savvy cat would be best in my home. I am always down for whatever adventure may lie ahead, and although I may not be able to do super long hikes with my short snoot, but I would enjoy a trip to the beach or a nice camping trip to Mount Hood. Even though I am an energetic pup, I still love my cuddles and snuggles! Friendly, charming, and downright hilarious, I am eager for a family to call my own (bonus points if you are up for laughing at my silly antics!). Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

Ricky Ricardo here and you’ve got some splaining to do! Am I not the cutest thing you have ever seen?! At 6 years old and 8 lbs, I am an adorable chihuahua who, after a warming up period, is your best friend for life. I am a bit of a nervous guy at first with new people. So I may give you a a few good barks before I approach, but with some patience and lots of tasty treats, I quickly see that you are my friend. Because of this I am looking for an adult only low traffic house set up in a quiet area, preferably with a yard since I am not so much into walks. Someone who can take the time to build trust with me and be rewarded with snuggles and a glimpse at my quirky silly side. I get along great with other mellow dogs like myself and it might even be great to have a confidant pal I could follow around-which might make me blossom a bit faster! I seem pretty scared of kitties, so I would do best in a cat free home. My favorite place is on my person’s lap, and I love belly and butt scratches. I am always excited about my toys, and especially enjoy playing soccer with balls around the house. I am full of personality, but mostly just want to be loved by my special person. Speaking of, are you a morning person too?! We could both get up and tend to the garden together followed by lap cuddles and coffee on the back porch as we watch the sun rise. Sound like the perfect way to start your day? Then fill out an application, so we can set up a meet! I come to you neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $350.

Oh hello there! My name is Saul and I am a big lovable and goofy Husky guy. At 10 years old, I still try to be an active and spry guy, though my body does not always keep up with my lively spirit. But I do enjoy my short walks around the block, taking in all the sights and smells. I will even get quite spunky when I meet my dog friends and will try to play. The Pixie ladies think it is quite adorable! No kitties in my home please. Overall, I am a very quiet guy but can be a husky talker at times. I would do best in a house set up with not a lot of stairs and some space to stretch my legs. I am very affectionate with my human pals and love to get pets and back skritches. Besides some old man bones, I am a healthy guy and even have a dental cleaning scheduled soon which will get me all up to date on everything. I am a great snuggler and a perfect companion for someone who just wants to hang out and enjoy each other’s company. This sweet old man is ready to settle into his retirement home today. Will it be with you? Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $350. It may be cloudy, but at least there is a chance of Meatball!! At 10 years old, I am an adorable and beefy Pitbull mix with a lovable, squishy face and a big brisket. Always a happy girl full of smiles, I absolutely adore people and am always eager to meet new friends over 8! No matter what life has thrown at me in the past, I have always remained resilient and really just loved to be loved. In fact, if you are giving me pets and you hit a favorite spot, I will roll onto my back and kick my legs in the air in order to make an optimal petting zone. At 50lbs, I still think I am a lap dog and will curl up with you on the couch for a snooze, snoring the night away. My foster says I am very food motivated and will even do a little tippy tap dance when it’s time for dinner. I am enjoy short walks around the neighborhood, really stopping to smell the roses…and the squirrels…and the dogs…and whatever else may have trotted that way. Speaking of dogs, I am always happy to meet new doggy friends and try to play right away! I tend to chase kitties though, so none in my home please. When I am not on my many outdoor adventures, I like to take longs nap in the sun in the backyard. I am not very heat tolerant and need help staying cool on those hot days. Maybe a nice dip in a pool or run through a sprinkler? I am not crazy into playing with tennis balls, but I do enjoy a good hard chewie or chew toy. I don’t mind the city environment, but am looking for a house set up. All in all, I am just a sweet, silly, and adorable beefsquatch who is ready to live life to it’s fullest with my forever family! Fill out an application to set up a meet. I come to you spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $350.

“Thank you for being a friend.” Cue the Golden Girls theme song for this lovely lady. My name is Helen and I am a sweet 10 year old Hound mix weighing around 60lbs. You might remember me being with my sister Ethel. Well it turns out she was a bit of a bully to me, so we had a trial separation apart. Turns out we blossom a lot better individually and are much happier, so we weren’t as bonded as they initially thought. Being very affectionate, I am all about the attention, pets and snuggles too. My ideal day would consist of a brisk walk in the morning, followed by a delicious breakfast, and then some couch time to watch our afternoon soaps. Followed by some sunbathing in the yard, and nice evening walk, and more comfy couch time while we watch some Turner Classic Movies. With my dog pals, I do best with mellow pups like myself. No kitties in our home please! Happy go lucky and always smiling, I am a resilient lady with a heart of gold. Because we are hounds, we sometimes like to talk, so apartment living isn’t for us, and a home without shared walls with neighbors is ideal. Silly and delightful, my heart is true. Will you be my pal and confidant? Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated. microchipped, and spayed with recent dental and bloodwork for a total adoption fee of $350. *THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT LIAM AT liamwoods1@gmail.com *

Seeking the right home for my dog “Goose.” He’s a well trained 4 year old Labradoodle. He’s a mellow guy and will sleep next to you on the couch or floor for most of the day. He does like to cuddle and will fall asleep with his head on your lap or gleefully sleep in your bed if that’s allowed. I don’t let him in my bed so no pressure there, but friends do and he loves it. Goose does weigh about 80 lbs, so he’s on the large side. He’s 3/4 poodle 1/4 lab (F1B), neutered, not a chewer or digger, is well house trained, he is trained to only poop in one gravel area behind my house and not on the lawn (so that’s an options for others), he’s also trained to pull you on a skateboard if you are crazy in the same way I am… thought that’s kind of an experts only situation:)

He does sometimes pull the leash on walks, but is a quick learner when it comes to training.

He is very interested in cats but is not used to them since I do not have one and strangely none of my friends do either. I don’t think a house with a cat would be ideal. He loves the dogs he knows well but depending on the dog, he needs to meet new dogs slowly. He loves to play fetch. He’s also very good off leash on hikes. He is used to road trips, camping, hiking, etc… he’s been everywhere with me.

I’m not open to him living anywhere without a yard or property, or with anyone who’s work would leave him alone 9-5, sorry! He would do well with a family with kids above age 12 or so (he is a lot of klutzy excitable dog for the very little ones). He does do fine at home alone, I can leave him for 12 hours, I just rarely ever do that because it’s probably a bummer for him and I assume he really has to pee… A family or couple would be good, with a yard or property, or someone really devoted to dogs.

Goose had a professional assessment from a dog trainer today and this is what she said.

“I think Goose would do best in a home with no other dogs or a very confident female dog without fear or guarding issues. I would say no cats and children 12 and up. I think that the environment you’re looking for should be supportive to him not practicing barrier reactivity so watch for big windows and fences without visual barriers that are along spots with heavy foot traffic. I think someone who likes to hike and someone who has the means and the interest in continuing gooses training specifically focusing on his arousal/ reactivity while on leash and initially when greeting dogs. I would recommend in lieu of an adoption fee you request that the new owner complete two or three private training sessions.

He just needs the right environment to be happy and I can’t provide it. Basically he gets very excited and comes in a hot with new dogs, especially on leash. He does some resource guarding and barrier aggression (barking through fences). I’ll give anyone with interest lots more info.

My life has become extremely complicated with the pandemic closing my biz, illness in my family, and other complications that are not about Goose. I will not have the stability in the next few years to care for him and it’s not fair to him. This guy has been very well loved as I’ve had him since he was a pup and now my life has changed in ways that I need to embrace. It’s heartbreaking to try to find him another family but after agonizing about it for ages it’s finally time. I won’t be able to give him the home that he needs for years to come.

Please reach out or forward this to a friend if it sounds appealing. He could make someone very happy and be a great companion. Please let me know a bit about yourself and your living situation if you are interested by sending an email to liamwoods1@gmail.com

“That’ll do pig. That’ll do.” Babe here, and I am a 5 yo Beagle mix here to save the day with lots of snuggles and cuddles! At 20lbs, I love being a lap dog, and I promise to curl up extra small so I fit just perfectly. It’s the optimal position for lots of pets! I am a sensitive and shy gal at first, but with some time and lots of those yummy treats, I am ready to be best friends my adult human friends and will greet you with lots of wiggles. I am a little weary of new doggies, but just try and actively avoid them if I don’t feel comfortable. Thus, I tend to get along best with confident adult male dogs around my size. No kitties in my home please. My fosters take me for walks in the neighborhood and I really enjoy it! Especially in the lower traffic areas. Same goes for hikes! They say I am an excellent rider in the car and prefer the lesser frequented trails. I bet I would even enjoy a trip to the beach! When I am not out and about, I really enjoy hanging out in the backyard, soaking up the sun and thus would prefer a house set up versus apartment living.  Sweet, cuddly and oh so cute, it is so rewarding to watch me blossom! I am ready to sprout into my forever home today. Fill out an application to set up a meet! I come to you vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

June 15th, 2021

Ciao Bella! Buongiorno! Pleased to meet you you. My name is Bella and I am a 6 year old cattledog mix who is as sweet as a cannoli! At 47 lbs, I am an adorable meatball with a big heart who is very affectionate. When I see new people, I get so excited to say hi and as soon as they start the pets, I plop down in side saddle mode and enjoy the attention. In the home, I would enjoy being with kiddos 12 and up. Though I really enjoy being outside on my walks, I am a bit environmentally sensitive which just means that busy areas with either lots of foot or car traffic can be a bit overwhelming. So I am not a big fan of downtown, but wouldn’t mind a nice quiet neighborhood or suburb where there is less going on. I am a very chill and go with the flow kind of gal. I will take pets over playing with toys, and curling up on the couch or sunbathing in the yard are my favorite activities! No kitties in my home please. I have met a few dogs here at Pixie and can be a bit selective with my friends, but I wouldn’t mind hanging with a confident mellow pal. I am more of a people dog anyways. I mean why play with other dogs when you can get belly rubs and tasty treats?!  I am just a happy and silly gal full of cuddles and snuggles to share with my new best friend today! Fill out an application, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped. and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.
