–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON NETTLES, PLEASE CONTACT ANDREA AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

We are looking to re-home our beautiful 8-9 year old cat Nettles. I took over care of Nettles about 6 years ago when her original owner moved and needed to find her a new home. She is a very cuddly cat although she does not like young children or other animals. As we have both young children and recently got another cat and are looking to adopt a puppy, Nettles is not very happy with us. With adults/older humans she a very devoted and would love to cuddle as much as possible. She runs to you when she is called and will find you and try to sit in your lap whenever you are home. If she is outside, she will great your car when you get home with her version of a meow which sounds more like a cluster of beeps. She would be most happy in a home with NO young children and NO other pets – mostly no other pets. Currently she is an indoor/outdoor cat and loves to stay close to home. We do have a litter box for her in the basement that she uses in the winter. She is very healthy with a silky, thick and fuzzy coat of fur and a white star on her belly. She will often lie on her back in the sun with her belly exposed although she does not like to have her belly rubbed. She is chipped and has had all her vaccinations. We feed her an anti-flea supplement daily and give her regular deworming medicine. If we cannot find the right home for Nettles she will continue to live with us and we are happy to care for her – I am only posting this in the event that there is someone out there who would love a lap cat and where Nettles would be more happy.

Thank you for considering. For more interest in Nettles, please contact Andrea at 503-504-8848.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON SCRAMBLES, PLEASE CONTACT SHANTEL AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Scrambles is exactly as her name describes. She’s a year and a half and 5lbs of pure sass. She’s a pretty independent kitty, but loves any attention she is given and will meow back when talked to. Scrambles will happily follow you around the house or be just as content curling up in a big blanket. She’s not too fond of big cats or young children but she will tolerate them through proper introduction. She has never been introduced to a dog but would probably prefer a home without them, as she’s a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to bigger animals. Scrambles has been spayed and all of her shots are up to date. She’s the perfect kitty for anyone looking to add a spunky feline family member to their home.

Please contact Shantel at shantel.acasia@gmail.com or 971-331-9884 for any questions or interest.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO, PLEASE CONTACT HIS OWNER AT THE EMAIL BELOW–

Radio is a beautiful 14 year old male cat who has lived his entire life indoors. He is the sleekest and healthiest cat who loves to interact with everyone. He adores to be pet and would be a fantastic companion for someone who likes to snuggle. Radio is incredibly affectionate, loves to play, purrs loudly, and gently head buts you when he is being loved. He is looking for a single cat home as he was very anxious when living with other cats.

We have been taking care of him since a friend was no longer able to and now we are looking for a good permanent home for him. I want to find him the sweet attentive home he deserves.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions you may have. You can reach Courtney at cea.pdx@gmail.com or (206) 200-3733.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ABOUT AVETT, PLEASE CONTACT HIS OWNERS AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Avett is a super kind and friendly 4 year old orange tabby. He will meet you at the door the second you come home from work, cuddle with you whenever you want and follow you around the house . The most common response on first meeting him is “I didnt think I liked cats until I met Avett.” He thrives in a home where he is the only animal, can be indoor and outdoor and the family is around a decent amount, and the children are 10 or over. He has been around small kids often and always does well but we just think he might prefer a bit older of kids. Our work schedules take us both on the road at least once a month and we are hoping to start a family in the near future which is why we have come to the difficult decision to rehome him. It is without a doubt you will love this little guy and he will love you right back ! He is healthy, up to date on all vaccines and has been fixed.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON JACQUES, PLEASE CONTACT BJORN AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Jacques has lived at the same house for almost 10 years.  He is a short-haired domestic cat.  He is gray with some white markings.  He weighs 11 lbs.  He eats dried food mixed with wet food.

He was taken in as a stray animal that had been acquired by a veterinarian.  Jacques is well-cared for.  He takes no medications.  He lives indoors but is let out once a day to roam the backyard.  If he’s prevented from going outside, he will spray outside of the litterbox.  I would describe his personality as timid.  He enjoys being held and petted but is wary of toddlers (he likes to watch them from afar).

Please contact Bjorn for more information – 206-920-1299 or  bjorn_krane@yahoo.com.

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER AT THE INFO PROVIDED BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Hi! My name is Coco! I’m a 4yr old Toy Poodle with personality and sass. Most people think I’m a girl, but that’s okay as long as they’re willing to give me treats and belly scritches.

My elderly dog mom recently had to be moved to an assisted care facility. She left me with her son and daughter-in-law until I find another person. They can’t keep me because they have cats I like to chase and growl at, and there’s too much going on in their house.  I need a quiet home. No kids.  No cats. I can be a couch potato cuddling with you or a bouncy playmate. I bond deeply with one person and they are my world.  I like to bark a lot when I’m excited, especially on walks. I walk okay on a leash, but could use some work on reactivity to people, dogs, and animals.

I really like routine. If something changes I’ve been known to potty in the house if left alone.  I get really scared when my people leave me.

I’m a smart guy and love spending time with you getting treats, praise and attention for the silly things you keep asking me to do, like sit. I can also be a problem solver and get into stuff. I love chewing paper, am a great vacuum, and I love it when people leave food unattended.  Jackpot!

I like my spa days. I go to the groomer every 8-10 weeks. I need my ears plucked regularly and professional grooming to keep comfortable and healthy.  I’m my groomer’s favorite.  I am also super allergic to flea bites. This means I have to be on flea prevention all year round, preferably oral as topical irritate me. Expenses to consider.  I also need regular dentals under anesthesia about every 18 months.

I can be nippy with strangers especially men. Strangers scare me and always want to pick me up because I’m so cute. I do not like children at all. Especially, kids under high school age. They’re loud and unpredictable.

My foster Dad says to tell you I’m up to date on vaccines, just had my teeth cleaned in April, and am up to date on heartworm and flea prevention.

If you’re interested in meeting me please contact my foster dad at:

Put my name in the subject.

I’m very anxious to meet my new person!

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT BEVERLY AT 360-609-8288 FOR MORE DETAILS*

Hi there! I’m Pippie, a sweet 9-year-old Chihuahua-mix. I am 100% lap-dog and my favorite thing is cuddling up in or next to one. If you like to have a relaxing evening in front of your TV I’m just the dog to enjoy it with you! Although I’m content to be a couch potato I LOVE my walks too, and will get very excited when I see my leash. I’m a little older, so longer walks/more strenuous activities will require a back-up mode of transport (small backpacks work well and I’ve enjoyed adventuring around in them!), but I do well on neighborhood walks and walks around the dog park. I’m fine with other pets but would do best in a home with older dogs/dogs who are very mellow. I don’t like other animals invading my personal space too much but will get used to any other pets in the home over time (including cats). Although I’ve never been aggressive or bitten I can get defensive if larger animals are overly-curious.

I’d do best in a home with a set routine, as I am special needs. I am diabetic and require 2 injections per day, after I’ve eaten breakfast and dinner. I’m also on a special prescription diet (although other prescription diets will work, as long as they are for diabetes control). I may also need glucose testing occasionally. Although I’m older, aside from my diabetes I’m a happy healthy girl! I can handle everyday obstacles like stairs and jumping up into your lap just fine, and I’ve kept my zest for life as I’ve gotten older! I am also spayed and up to date on shots. If you would like to adopt me, please contact Beverly at 360-609-8288 or scoggin7639@comcast.net
