*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY, PLEASE CONTACT DEBBIE AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS.*

Jojo is a 10 year old short hair, 14 lb. Red colored doxie. He is neutered and up to date on his shots and flea prevention. He has an allergy to some shots, but is otherwise a happy healthy senior! He gets along well with other dogs and kids but has not been around cats. Jojo is house trained, travels well in the car, and is leash trained with a harness. He knows basic commands but tends to bark, so with some training he should do better. He has a very sweet personality but like most dachshunds can be a bit stubborn. Jojo loves to snuggle and has been excellent with the family’s young kids. If you can give this loving cuddly senior a new forever home please contact his current caretaker, Debbie, directly at  (360) 431-7434.

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT CANDACE AT THE NUMBER BELOW FOR MORE INFO*

Sadie is a 9 year old short hair, 11 lb. Black colored doxie. Sadie is up to date on her shots but is not spayed. She has greatly improved from a paralyzed hind end (Hind Limb Paresis-Cord Lesion). She can walk, but its a bit of an awkward walk. She requires her urine to be expressed by her owner, and needs to be let outside often to avoid accidents. Her current owner has had good luck with doggie diapers but it needs to be strapped on tight or she will wiggle right out of it. Sadie is good with kids but should not be in a home with other dogs/cats. She travels well in the car, is leash trained and knows basic commands. She loves to cuddle with you under the blanket and take naps in her doggie bed. She enjoys short walks but you will need to go slow and at her own pace. She really likes to cuddle with you, have her tummy rubbed and give you lots of kisses! This special senior needs a lot of TLC, patience and understanding, but she still has a lot of love to give! Please contact her current owner Candace at  (503) 789-1306.

Henry is a 5 year old short hair, 20 lb. golden/tan colored doxie. His owners moved out of state and unfortunately Henry was just left behind, so a neighbor took him in until he finds his forever home. His current caretaker says he has “weak back legs” but can walk and play without problems. Henry is neutered, leash & house trained, and travels well in the car. He gets along good with other dogs and kids, but has not been around cats. Henry loves to sit on your lap and watch tv with you! He also enjoys going for walks and playing with his ball. He will sit by your feet and stare at you until you pick him up so he can sit on your lap. Henry is such a super sweet doxie whos just searching for his forever home! If interested in my adoption, please contact Eden at  (360) 600-6665 or  edenossinger@gmail.com.

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT JUSTIN AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Loving red haired 4 year old Chihuahua/Min Pin Mix Harvey is looking for his forever home. He loves to play and loves even more to cuddle. He’s a bit anxious when it comes to new people and dogs but given the time, and a safe space, Harvey warms up nicely. Walks are always a fun adventure, but with his anxiety city life is a bit too busy for him. What Harvey needs is a quiet home that’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With patient training (and tasty treat reminders) his walks have improved immensely. He’s playful, and listens to basic commands very well. Harvey would benefit most from a home where someone is home nearly all of the time or an easy-going confident older female dog to help him feel safe. Harvey is being prescribed Prozac which should help his anxiety immensely and he would need to stay on this to have his best life. What Harvey wants is a person (or people) who can remind him to calm down and listen when things get him riled up. Are you someone who works from home, is patient, and wants a loving companion to sleep on your lap? (He’ll even sleep in your arms! See picture.) He’s house trained, basic command trained, microchipped, up to date on shots, and is neutered. If interested, please email Justin at  Justinpaix@gmail.com   or call Nick at  503-764-8675.

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT JAKE AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

A very sweet, loving black lab/ pit terrier mix is in need of a calm and dedicated environment. She was rescued last year in Northern California after being found on the streets. She is 3-3.5 years old, weighs about 45 pounds. She is very timid and shy but loves to go for walks and cuddle up right next to you for a movie. She does not have a mean bone in her body and has never shown aggression towards any animals or people (she lived in a home with two kids as well as two dogs without incident).  She is on Prozac and will need to continue the prescription in order to make her life more enjoyable and comfortable. Due to her being a pit mix, she must go to a family that are homeowners. Her ideal environment: Quiet but interactive in training her and giving her the attention she needs. She is a wonderful dog who has the potential to thrive to the fullest with the combination of her medication, training, and lots of love. -THIS DOG IS NOT BEING PLACED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST; PLEASE CONTACT SEAN AT THE INFO BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Kiya is sweet, intelligent, and full of energy. She loves to run off leash and explore!!! Kiya needs a lot of exercise. A big, fenced yard would be wonderful for her. She is incredibly intelligent and gets bored easily, this can lead to digging holes or jumping fences if she doesn’t get enough attention and exercise. Kiya does great at dog parks and on walks and is friendly with other dogs. She has not lived with cats. The perfect home situation for her would be a home with lots of available attention, a large yard, and a very active pet parent. Kiya would not do well being the only dog left home for 8 hours a day alone.

8 years old, 60+ lbs

I am very sad to be rehoming Kiya as I rescued her over 4 1/2 years ago from a very neglectful and violent situation. She has been a beloved member of my family. I am rehoming her as we are moving across country and she has an aversion to crates that would make it unfair to fly her and put her through that amount of stress. I will ask for an in-home visit at your house–a $50 rehoming fee applies. I am looking to rehome Kiya to a financially stable home that can afford high-quality food and, when needed, medical care. She has a tumor on her rump which I’ve assumed is a fatty tumor that we have not had the means to have checked out. i currently live in Portland, OR. We lived in Eugene up until 2 years ago and Kiya is an established patient at Healing Paws in Eugene. Please only inquire if you sound like a good fit for Kiya’s needs.
