*THESE DOGS ARE NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT! THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNERS DIRECTLY AT THE NUMBERS BELOW*

Hello! Our names are Bella and Rudy and we are an adorable dynamic duo looking for a home together. Below you will find more info about us individually. If interested in our adoption, please contact our current owners Brian at (608)347-8374 or Kirsten at (360)223-5105.

Bella: Looking for a lovable couch buddy? Well look no further. My name is Bella and I am a 12-year-old, 35 lb. beagle.  Since I am a bit older, I move a little slower than I used to, but I do love to go on walks and enjoy all the smells the world has to offer.  Lounging around is my favorite activity, especially if belly rubs are involved.  You may have noticed that I’m a little overweight, but that’s because my love for food is as big as my love for people, I just need a little help to get my figure back. I’m fine around most other dogs, but I don’t really get along with puppies.  I would do best in a home with adults and older children.  Smart, loving, and willing to cuddle all day, I am ready to come home with you today.

Rudy: Hey there! My name is Rudy and I am a 14 yo Chihuahua/Fox terrier mix weighing in at 17 lbs.  I am an extremely affectionate dog who loves to cuddle as much as I love to play.  I may be 14, but I can run around like I am 7.  I am very smart and am willing to work for whatever treats you may have for me.  I do well with other dogs if you give me time to get to know them.  I am great with kids and adults of all ages and love to play all types of games.  I am always up for a long walk, just promise to cuddle on the couch with me after.  I tend to be a little vocal if I hear or see something outside the window and I love to mimic fire engines when they go by. I have the tendency to mark occasionally in the home, so someone who is patient, isn’t gone long work hours and can take me outside frequently is key! I would do best in a low stress home in a quiet neighborhood and another dog to keep me company.  Goofy and lovable, I am ready to come home with you today.

‘” THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT LILO, PLEASE CONTACT KAREN AT THE EMAIL BELOW ‘”

Hi!   My name is J.T.T.!   That’s short for Jonathan Taylor Thomcat, “Stray Kitty Heartthrob.” *wink* I guess that’s because I tend to melt hearts with my boyish charm wherever I go!   Let’s see… I am about 4 years old.   I’m up to date on all of my vaccines.   I’m neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and already microchipped!   I’m looking for a forever home with people who understand cats and will respect my personal space.   I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of snuggling, but I am really social and love hanging out with my people.   Oh!   And I love to play!   I love chasing my own tail, chasing my people, chasing flies, chasing lasers… I am not above spazzing out over tiny, barely visible specs of dust floating in the air.   I’m not a big fan of kids, but I would LOVE a young, social cat buddy to play with!!   I’m not equipped for the outdoors either, so indoor homes only please (although I would LOVE to go to a home with a ‘catio!’).   If I sound like the right kitty heartthrob for you, my foster family I would love to meet you!

Email Karen at karanimal84@yahoo.com for an adoption application.   My adoption fee (I’m worth it!) is $100.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON JANET, PLEASE CONTACT HANA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Janet is 3.5 years old and it just as fluffy as she looks! She is definitely super playful and while she’s been an indoor cat, we think she would benefit from having the flexibility to go outside as well, if possible. She lives with a dog and it may take her a minute to warm up to a new pup, but she will learn to love them! She’s never lived with another kitten, but would love to have a playmate. Her favorite toys are hair ties and balled up receipts – she’ll even play a little fetch with them! She’ll also go after a laser all day long. She doesn’t like to be held all of the time, but will definitely be as close as possible without touching you. When she does want snuggles, she’ll let you know. She likes to stand on her back paws and reach up to you to be picked up, like a kid! Bonus points if you have long hair, or are wearing a baseball cap or glasses. She’s definitely shy at first but once she gets to know you she’ll play all day and show you so much love. She eats dry food but loves a can of wet food anytime. She’ll even sit for treats!

If you are interested in meeting Janet, please contact Hana at h.thompson137@gmail.com or 740.591.5179.

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER AT THE EMAIL BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS*

Daphne is looking for her retirement home. She is approximately 10 years old and weighs 35 lbs. We adopted her from the Long Beach Humane Society when she was four years old and do not have information about her life prior to us. She is a German Shepard mix- we think some cattle dog and/or Jack Russell.  We are sad to be rehoming her, as she is an incredibly loving and sweet companion. We are looking for a home that will offer her more calm and quiet and more one-on-one human attention, realizing that our current family life with a toddler makes it difficult for us to meet Daphne’s needs. She is a people person, prefers to be the only dog in a quiet house. She could integrate with a larger breed dog, preferably male; no other dog reactive dogs. Her ideal life would be to live in a house with a yard and have lots of human company. Rural or neighborhood life would suit her better that urban life. She only needs short walks every day due to some mild arthritis in shoulders and hips; loves to sniff and hunt for squirrels, prefers walks in nature where there are few other off leash dogs. She walks well on a leash. She is reactive to other dogs on and off leash so cannot go to dog parks. She has a strong prey drive so we do not recommend off leash walking with Daphne. Living in a house with a dog savy cat would be OK. She is gentle with kids but will be happier in a family w/o kids. We are asking a $200 rehoming fee.  Please contact Christy at christinakithil@gmail.com for inquiries.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT NELLI, PLEASE CONTACT EDEN AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Full name: Miss Vanjie Spinelli, but you can call her Nelli. Nelli is a 2 year old calico. She is spayed, very healthy and has been vaccinated.  Her diet is mostly dry but loves a wet treat from time to time. Nelli is very playful, independent, and sweet. She is mostly high energy but loves to curl up next to you where ever you go. Turn the faucet on and she will be entertained for hours. Nelli is a little skittish at times but doesn’t stay under the bed too long before coming back out to scope out the scene. She has been acclimated to being around dogs and will even play fetch like one! Nelli is an indoor cat and is very comfortable being in a smaller apartment.

If you are interested in meeting Nellie, please contact Eden by phone – (360) 910-1015.

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT MICKI AT THE EMAIL BELOW*

Hi! My name is Eddie and I’m a nearly 7-year old Dachshund/hound mix weighing around 11 pounds. One of my favorite things to do is snuggle in next to you on your lap, especially if you also wrap me in a fuzzy blanket. I love, love, love balls! I love to chew on them, have you throw them for me, and I’m getting better at bringing them back. I also love to play tug-of-war with ropes, braided blankets and tugs. If you’re lonely, I’ll chat with you, especially around meal or treat time. I have a cute little chat and I’m certain you’ll understand every word.

I have great manners. I know sit, stay, and I’m learning lay down. I let my people through the door first, and I feel very comfortable on a leash.
I really don’t like to share your lap or your home with other dogs, cats or children under the age of 12. If I absolutely must share, I’d prefer to make friends with a confident cat who lets me go my way while they go their way.

People say I’m super smart! I learn new things quickly, especially when enticed with treats. I need someone who is willing to keep up on expanding my socialization skills with consistency and training as I get a little too excited seeing and meeting new people and pets. In fact, it would be best if I had a home that was on a quiet street so I can relax and not have to worry about people passing in front of windows all the time or lots of noise from the street.
I have some joint pain and anxiety, but with my meds I’m not as nervous, not in pain, and jump about 3 feet in the air off all four legs when I’m over-the-moon happy. I also have vasculitis which just means the edges of my ears can get crusty. I’m on an inexpensive, safe medication that has made my ears–one of my best features I might add–soft and supple.

I have so much love to give. I just need to find the right, forever, home. To inquire about me, please send an email to adopteddiefuller@gmail.com, or contact my foster mom, Micki, at 503-805-9305. Please leave a message if she doesn’t answer. If you’re interested in adopting me, please download and fill out a Pixie Project application and email it to adopteddiefuller@gmail.com. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $200. The adoption fee will be donated to training sessions with Denise at Behave to help ease Eddie’s transition. I also come with my medications and all veterinary records.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THESE CATS ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ABOUT DANI AND LEIA, PLEASE CONTACT DANIELLE AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Meet Dani(grey and white) and Leia(grey tabby). They are bonded and are looking for a forever home together. Dani is about 8 yrs old and Leia is almost 3 yrs old. Both are indoor kitties and even though they live with a dog, does not mean that they like the dog so no dogs please. They both are a little shy but Leia warms up quickly then won’t stop begging for attention. Dani is beautiful and sweet but timid. She prefers to do her own thing, only venturing out with Leia by her side. They both are curious. Leia loves playing in boxes. Dani plays but only when she thinks nobody is watching. They have a small cat condo, toys, an entire 22lb bag of cat food, food/ water dishes, and litter box & litter that they would be bringing with them. My daughter could not take them when she moved so we are trying to find their forever home.

If you are interested, please contact Danielle at dkneebone16@gmail.com or 503-310-4211.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON LUNA, PLEASE CONTACT MAGALIE AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

This is Luna. She is a bubbly, outgoing, friendly, playful, cuddly brown tabby. She is about 2.5 years old, and in perfect health. She is spayed, indoor, and litter box trained. Some of her favorite activities include playing soccer with ping pong balls, climbing into drawer chests and shelves, making herself into a scarf for humans, and telling you her whole life’s story when you get home. She likes both wet and hard food.

Her ideal new home would be either a family or individual(s) that is home often, as she gets lonely without people around. She loves to run around and play, so a house (instead of apartment) would be a plus, but not required. She wasn’t too excited to be around other animals as a baby, though I do not know if that would be the case now. She is a huge people-lover.

Please reach out to 314-607-2245(text preferred) or Magalie.grossheim@gmail.com for interest/questions.
