–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON SUNBEAM, PLEASE CONTACT BECCA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Sunbeam is 2years old.  She is very affectionate and loves getting petted and brushed!  She also loves treats.  She would probably do well with a devoted owner in a quiet home, perhaps with another good tempered cat, to give her confidence. I adopted her 3.5 mos ago from a shelter but have to move soon due to a job opportunity. She is very shy and has stayed under the bed, coming out at night to play with her toys and eat. She’s slowly started to leave the bed earlier and to also explore staying in a laundry basket. She likes having a dark enclosed space, she can call her own and feel safe in.
She’s sweet, well behaved and quiet but just so shy that I am worried a cross state move would not be good for her. I am sure with love and patience she would come out of her shell. I want her to find a loving home and to not have to go through a shelter. She is healthy, neutered, microchipped, has all shots.  I can give you papers. Her rehoming fee is $100.

Please email becca@beccakingmovement.com or text 503-915-4569 if you are interested or have questions!

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON MINERVA, PLEASE CONTACT ERIN AT THE EMAIL BELOW–

Hello! My name is Minerva, and I’m a two-year-old cat who loves to lounge, watch the squirrels and birds out of the window, lick at the occasional pat of butter in my food dish, and play with my laser pointer or wire toys. I’m a pretty chill cat who spends a lot of time curled up in my various spots around the house. I am an indoor cat who needs a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle. I would do best living with only one human and with no other pets in the home. Sometimes I like my own space, but other times I love to snuggle up next to you or on your lap, especially if you’re watching a political drama on Netflix. I’m generally quiet, but when I’m ready to eat (a mixture of dry and wet food), I’ll let you know with a meow! I’ve been a lovely companion for my current human, but her living situation has changed. She thinks I would be happier in a quieter space with just one person and wants what’s best for me. I just got a general wellness check and am healthy and up-to-date on all my shots. I am also microchipped.

Please contact Erin for more information about me: erin.gettling@gmail.com

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON DAPHNE, PLEASE CONTACT JOHN AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Her name is Daphne and she is around eight.  She is very friendly but does not require excess attention. She is pretty lazy as most indoor cats are but does have her spurts of energy and loves chasing the light from a laser pointer. For the most part she just likes to lay in the sun, snooze and occasionally watch the birds outside.

She has been a great cat with really no behavioral issues. She has been indoor only. She is neutered and her vaccinations are current for an indoor cat. She always goes to the bathroom in the box and is very tidy about it. As long as she has a scratching post she does not scratch furniture or carpet. She is also good about avoiding indoor plants. She is great with dogs but knows how to stand her ground if she encounters an aggressive one.

She is perfect for anyone looking for a mellow indoor cat to spend the days with and play with from time to time. We are happy to send along her litter box, cat tree, auto feeder and any dry food we have remaining.

*RUFUS IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT SAM AT watermelonbaseballs@gmail.com*

Rufus is thought to be around 2 years old. He is a chocolate lab mix. He is looking for a new home with experienced dog owners.

He is very sweet and affectionate.  He loves to be pet and will sit at your feet.  Rufus enjoys playing with other dogs.  If you have a ball, he is at your side ready to play fetch.  Rufus is crate trained and knows basic commands.  He walks on trails and in suburbs on a gentle leader relatively well.  He is motivated by treats and loves a good stick.  He is a fast learner and resilient.

Rufus is a sensitive boy and has barrier reactivity towards dogs which is usually a bark followed by a whine due to his high play drive. He displays pro social behaviors when meeting other dogs and humans.  He has been in his current home for the past 10 months. He has had a recent behavioral assessment by a CPDT-KA trainer. Upon evaluation, it is determined that Rufus would do best in a home that has land and/or fenced space for Rufus to run and play.  Rufus would benefit from having a stable dog companion to help set boundaries and model, ideally an adult female dog.  He will need additional training on resource guarding.

Rufus is fully vetted (including negative heartworm test), neutered and currently taking NextGard.

His rehoming fee is $150 and his current owner will fully reimburse his fee upon completion/proof of behavior modification training re: reactivity. Process: Potential adopters will fill out an application, meet Rufus at least once, and complete an adoption contract upon approval. Please email watermelonbaseballs@gmail.com if interested in his adoption.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON MOON, PLEASE CONTACT JOSEPH AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Moon is a sweetheart, 5 y/o female shorthair tortoiseshell kitty looking for her next forever home! She is a very affectionate, playful girl, but a bit shy. Loves grooming and petting, loves physical attention, and *absolutely* loves string game. During the day she’s a laid back tower-in-the-window princess, content watching the birds and critters. When owner’s home, she may beg to pet or play.

The ideal environment for Moon is a quiet, consistent sanctuary away from the bustle of life. Fewer disturbances and strangers will be better for her sense of safety, including other pets. However, a caring and patient owner will be rewarded with a loving and loyal companion! She’s in good health, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. Recent teeth-cleaning, nail trim, and deworming so you can focus on building her a safe new home.

For more info, please text Joseph at 503-890-2195.

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT CORYNN AT corynnbernhardt@gmail.com FOR MORE DETAILS!*

Rosie is thought be around 2.5 years old. Her DNA was tested and is Border Collie, Doberman Pinscher, Great Pyrenees, and a mix of some other things. Her current owner can transfer her Embark profile to the new family upon adoption. Rosie was adopted from the Second Chance Program in January. Not very much was known about Rosie, and she is looking for a special home with experienced adopters, no children, and no cats.

Rosie is a life-long companion and extremely loyal. She loves dipping her feet in the river, doing some zoomies in the grass or sand, playing games that test her mind, and cuddling! Her favorite place to be is right by your side, including cuddling under a blanket on the couch and spooning you to fall asleep at night. She is very workable and eager to please. Rosie is VERY smart and knows many commands and can learn many more.

Rosie is a sensitive girl and has barrier reactivity towards dogs. When she gets to meet dogs, she is timid and soft, at least until she warms up to them and deems them safe. Her current placement has worked on this for the past 6 months. She has had a recent behavioral assessment by a CPDT-KA trainer. Upon evaluation, it is determined that Rosie would do best in a home that is somewhat rural and has fenced space for Rosie to get her exercise without relying on walks in urban areas and busy hiking trails. Her humans should be gentle and soft-spoken in nature to match Rosie’s sensitive nature. It would be ideal for Rosie to be with someone who isn’t gone long work hours. She needs stability in her environment to work on her confidence. Rosie would benefit from having a calm dog companion to help her confidence and how the world works, ideally an adult male dog.

Rosie is fully vetted (including negative heartworm test) and spayed. She is on a prescription diet due to a sensitive stomach and the current regimen is working well, but can be tweaked with to see if there is any wiggle room or weening from the rx diet.

Please, only gentle and effective positive reinforcement methods. No e-collars (including invisible fencing), pinch collars, choke collars, “alpha role” or “balance training”, etc is allowed for Rosie.

Her rehoming fee is $200 and her current owner will fully reimburse this fee upon completion/proof of behavior modification training re: reactivity. Process: Potential adopters will fill out an application, meet Rosie at least once, and complete an adoption contract upon approval.

Rosie can’t wait to be your new best friend and loyal companion! Contact Corynn at corynnbernhardt@gmail.com

Liz

–THIS IS COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON LIZ, PLEASE CONTACT SHONA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Say hi to Liz (short for Lizzo)! Liz is a super playful 1 year old Calico. She’s spayed, has all her vaccinations, is due for a 1-year checkup in July, and has no health issues. Did I mention how cute she is? She’ll get excited when toys are around and then ten minutes later plop down in your lap. When she wants something (either attention or food) she’ll let you know with some super cute little meows and chirps. Liz sleeps pretty much all through the night curled up next to you in bed if you let her come up. She’s athletic but not very confident when jumping, which ends up being nice because she doesn’t jump up on kitchen counters. She’s also never had a bathroom accident or even a hairball! Liz is a little overweight (14 pounds when she should be 10) so she’s been on a diet recently of both wet and dry food which she doesn’t seem to mind that much – she’ll eat just about anything! I have lots of toys she can bring with her to her new home, along with fancy things like a water fountain and automatic food dispenser. I honestly don’t know what she’s like around other cats, but can imagine she’d like having someone to play with. I’d love if she went to a home that’s a little bigger than my studio and live with people who are able to give her lots of attention and love.

Feel free to contact Shona Blumeneau at shonacb@gmail.com or text 831-428-5759 for more information!
