Meet Lucy! What a sweet girl.

Lucy is 3 years old and looking for her forever home. She’s an easygoing, affectionate girl who gets along well with other cats, so she could be a wonderful companion for a cat already in the home. She’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention for herself.

I’ve been impressed by how well she integrates and adapts, warming up quickly to new situations.

Lucy has spent her life as part of a beach cat colony here on Kauai that I care for. She is so friendly and people-oriented that I really feel she deserves the chance to have a safe, loving home of her own.

If you think Lucy might be a good fit for you—or you know someone who might be interested—please reach out!

She’s already spayed and microchipped.

🖤Jelly and Muffin have already found each other. Now they just need to find you! 🖤

Meet Jelly and Muffin, two young and spry sweethearts who have figured out one of life’s most important things: everything is better when you have a best friend.

Jelly is a pleasantly plump 2-year-old domestic shorthair, and Muffin is a petite and equally adorable 1-year-old domestic medium hair, both with gorgeous jet-black fur. They are healthy, neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and ready for a family of their very own.

And these two really do love each other.

They sleep together, play together, snuggle together, check in on each other, and generally go about life as a devoted two-cat team. If one is investigating something interesting, chances are the other won’t be far behind. They have already chosen each other as family, so Jelly and Muffin will, of course, be adopted together.

Jelly and Muffin are curious, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully social. Once they’ve had a little time to settle in and learn that they’re home, they will become part of the fabric of your daily life, making sure that you always have love, companionship, and entertainment.

They also have healthy appetites and happily enjoy both wet and dry food. Jelly and Muffin are indoor-only cats and are looking forward to a life filled with all the comforts and adventures of home.

Both have been social with other cats, but Jelly takes his role as Muffin’s best friend rather seriously and can become protective of him around other pets. We think they’ve got all the feline companionship they need in each other, so we’re looking for a home where Jelly and Muffin can be the only pets.

What do they want instead of other pets? Humans!

Humans to cuddle with. Humans to play with. Humans to supervise around the house. And a couch with room for a cuddle pile with their human(s).

Mostly, Jelly and Muffin are ready to belong.

They’ve already found their best friend. Now they just need to find their family. Is that you? 🖤

Are you looking for a loving, easygoing, gentle kitty who is absolutely adorable—and who, more than anything, wants to be your best friend and part of the fabric of your everyday life? You’re in luck! Meet Sasha, an approximately 2.5-year-old sweetie looking for something she has never stably had: a home and family to call her very own.

Sasha is perfect: social, playful, gentle, trusting, curious, and easygoing, with an adorable purr and an enthusiastic head butt when she wants some love. She adores people and likes to follow her humans from room to room, curl up nearby or settle into a lap, and make sure she’s never too far away. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention—she just wants to be part of your world.

Sasha is also a great conversationalist! She has a sweet, expressive meow and likes to say hello, chat with her humans, and sprinkle little updates throughout the day about the important happenings around the house. It’s one more endearing way she makes herself part of everyday life.

Sasha previously lived at the Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary, where she shared her life with other cats and had many loving caregivers. She gets along well with other felines and could be a wonderful companion for another cat, but with her love of people, she would also be very happy as your or your family’s one and only. Given her relaxed, easygoing nature, a respectful, cat-friendly dog would likely be A-OK by Sasha, too.

Sasha is healthy, active, spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and has a great appetite. When she was a kitten, she developed a urinary tract infection that resulted in crystals in her urine. This was associated with the infection rather than a chronic or idiopathic crystal condition. Her veterinarian recommends keeping her on a prescription urinary diet as a precaution, and her most recent examination and urinalysis confirmed that her urine is clear with no deposits present.

More than anything, Sasha is ready for the simple, wonderful experience of belonging. A family or human of her own, a favorite spot on the couch, someone to follow into the next room, a lap to curl up on, and people who are just as happy to have her nearby as she is to be there.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful companion with a sweet purr, a gentle head butt, plenty to talk about, and a habit of never being too far away, Sasha may just be the best friend you’ve been looking for.

Sasha is an indoor-only cat available for adoption through Cats in the City Rescue | Feline Transitions in Portland, Oregon.

To meet Sasha, please email us at rescue@catsinthecityrescue.com or call 503-214-2003, and ask for Sasha!

Trooper Girl   Age:  1-1.5 years; female, spayed, and microchipped.

Named Trooper Girl because an Oregon State Trooper brought her to me when she was found living in a car, and owner could no longer keep her.  I have a cat-boarding business, so I agreed to board her until we could find her the perfect forever home.

If you are wanting some companionship and entertainment, adopting Trooper Girl would be getting that all rolled up in a furry bundle of joy.  She loves to explore and she likes following you around the house. During your quiet times of reading, or watching TV, she is either on your lap, or right next to you.

An ideal home for Trooper Girl would be one where she was the only pet.  She can be a little stinker with other cats, and dogs.  She will go out of her way to annoy my dog, Bella.  Never hurts her, but will run by Bella and swat (without her claws out);  or she will half jump on and off her back, then continue running in the direction she was headed.

Troop would do ok with another, if it was a male, and does not have an aggressive personality. She adores my big orange cat, Trevor.

If you would like to meet Trooper, or have any questions, please either text me, or call me.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Otto is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT.**

We are searching for a new home for one of our kitties, Otto. He is experiencing stress due to the level of chaos in our home. While we have been making it work, it is in the best interest of this boy to find him a home free of the daily chaos that is this house. He is an anxious cat by nature. He is litter box trained and will chirp at birds and squirrels from the window as he is an indoor only cat, who I’m sure would love a catio. He’s quirky and talkative and loves scritches until he doesn’t. He will sleep on his persons pillow or keep their feet warm at night.

Health concerns-inflammation of the bladder caused by stress, confirmed by three different vets at this point. This can cause a blockage which is life threatening and will not resolve as long as anxiety/stress is present. He is on medication to reduce any pain and curb anxiety but will need to be on a prescription urinary diet from this point on, for life.
I think it would be best if he were in a kid free, animal (especially dog) free home. Ottocado is king, he deserves only the best.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Nadie and Gryffin are NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT.**

If you want a cat whose sweet as can be, loves getting pets & scratches and sitting in your lap, then Nadia is just the cat for you! Although she can be extremely shy and wary of strangers, once she opens up to you she is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met. Nadia had a long stay at the shelter before we adopted her 7 years ago, but since coming into our home she has blossomed into such a wonderfully loving little kitty. She needs a very calm and peaceful home with absolutely no children, dogs or aggressive cats. She gets along with our other cat Gryffin just fine and is always trying to cuddle up with him but he couldn’t care less. While we think she would be perfectly happy being the only pet in the house, we’re open to her living with Gryffin or another cat (as long as it’s extremely friendly and not aggressive in any way). With a 3 year old toddler in our house we just are no longer able to give her the stress free environment she needs to live her best life.

Griffy is a big fluffy furball who is laid back, and super affectionate once he gets to know you. He’s happy spending his days lounging around, curled up in a warm cozy spot. He loves getting brushed more than anything and rightfully so, as his breed has a double layer of fur that needs regular brushing to keep his coat smooth and healthy. He’s a big nighttime cuddle bug who enjoys sleeping at the foot of the bed to be near his human. We love this big guy so much but since the birth of our first child 3 years ago he just hasn’t been able to adjust to the loud, chaotic life of living with a toddler. He needs to be in a quiet home with no small children or dogs and plenty of private spaces for him to retreat to if needed. Although he currently lives peacefully with our other cat Nadia (would adopt them together) they’ve never fully bonded and we believe he’ll be happiest in a home where he’s the only pet. It truly pains us to say goodbye to him but we realize he isn’t getting to live the best life he deserves in our house so we’re looking to find him a nice peaceful forever home to spend the rest of his days. Both cats are up to date on shots and will come with past medical records. For more information please email Jacob jherring2687@yahoo.com

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Kylo Ren is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT.**

1/31/26

Are you looking for the love of your life? Well look no further, this is Kylo-Ren. He is an 8 year old male who is fixed and microchipped. Kylo is a domestic medium hair tuxedo. He’s a huge lovebug and needs someone who’s calm and patient. Kylo does not like loud noises. He doesn’t mind male owners but prefers a female owner. Kylo would do best in a home as the only pet. He comes with all of his toys, bowls, and litter box. He’s up to date on everything.

His previous owner had a fenced in backyard where she would occasionally let him out but he is not a full outdoor cat. I’m in no rush to find the perfect home for him. I will be doing home checks to make sure you’re a good fit. I am asking for a rehoming fee to ensure he will be cared for properly. He’s a huge snuggle bug and loves belly rubs sometimes. He doesn’t mind being held every now and then. It took me a month to get him to warm up to me and my 3yr old tuxedo. He’s a very good boy and he’s looking for a long term home.

For more information please TEXT 503-406-0134 to set up a meet.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Vi and Jinx are NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT.**

1/22/26     BONDED PAIR

These beautiful bonded siblings (about 1 year old) have been together since birth and find deep comfort in one another. You will almost always find them side by side, and when separated, both show clear signs of anxiety — so they must be adopted together.

They have spent the last six months in a loving foster home, where their guardians learned that while they are not difficult cats, they are emotionally sensitive and thrive best in quiet, low-stimulation environments. Their rehoming is not about behavior — it is about finding the environment that truly matches who they are.

These siblings are gentle, shy, and softly curious. They are not cuddly lap cats, but they show affection through calm companionship and quiet presence. They prefer a peaceful home with adults, or possibly older, mature teens who understand boundaries. They will do best as the only pets in a small, calm household such as an apartment or studio.

They are indoor-only, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are litter box trained and consistent when the box remains clean and in the same location. Because they are anxious, future adopters should expect to approach veterinary care with patience and gentleness.
