These adorable brothers are about 3 months old and ready for a home of their own. They have been in a foster home since bring rescued. Full of personality, Timmy and Tank get along with other cats and dogs, and have affectionate and playful natures. Tank is a tad bashful at first but when he warms up to you he loves cuddles. Upon adoption they will be tested, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, etc.

Here he comes – its Tobi!!!

Please meet Tiny Tobi, our 3 year old, 7 pound little man. He is our local loveable rascal, eternal kitten, shelter favorite, and pixies current longest resident!

Tobi is a spunky little guy, with lots of energy. He loves to play with people, and he is a very smart little dude – one of his fosters even taught him to sit for treats! Also, he has been known to be a “cuddlebug” in bed, though he’s more interested in playing and exploring during the day. He is known to be an early riser – so he would be a great match for someone who also likes to get up when the sun does! We’d recommend him for a home without young children, due to his rambunctious play style, but older kids who need some entertainment would likely be delighted by him!

From one of his previous fosters: “Tobi is a good-natured and amusing little companion, always at the door to welcome you home, happy to snuggle up next to you watching TV or reading, and peacefully sleeping through the night at the foot of your bed. Once he feels at home he’s got lots to say, purring and chattering as he sticks close by your side. He likes to amuse himself watching birds out the windows and batting his toys under furniture so he can retrieve them later.”

The Pixie Project has kittens!!!

Because kittens come and go so frequently, we’ll just give a brief summary of some of the cuties we have currently looking for homes – but please know we have many more kittens (and cats) at our adoption center who may not yet be on the website! Also, please note that we require our kittens 5 months old and younger to be adopted in pairs, unless there is another social cat already in the home. This is to avoid what we call “single kitten syndrome” where kittens adopted without a friend tend to have behavioral issues because they are not getting the socialization they need from another feline companion. They’ll come to you vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered for an adoption fee of $200. A 10% discount is given for any two kittens/cats adopted ($360 total).

This darling tuxedo girl is about 4 years old and resides on the mellow side of things. She has never lived with dogs or kids, and does not seem to want kitty companions. She does enjoy the companionship of people, and all it takes is some good chin rubs to get her purr/biscuit machine going at full strength!

From her foster: “She has settled in very quickly and has a few favorite spots already picked out: in the window watching all the busyness on the street below, way back in the corner under my bed when she needs alone time, and on my office chair that I’m normally sitting in all day during the week. When she needs attention while I’m working she’ll jump up in my lap, then get on my desk between my computer and my external screens. She likes to climb but is very dainty about it. She jumps on my dresser or up on the top of the fridge, but carefully steps around anything on those surfaces, leaving everything untouched. She loves to play and really enjoys her scratching post!”

Turn around! Its a total Eclipse of the heart!

This handsome guy is a 10 year old domestic long hair cat, with a sweet disposition and a heart of absolute gold. Eclipse can be shy in new environments, and spends a lot of his time hidden away – but when he does come out, it’s just as awe inspiring as his namesake would have you belive! What gets his purr motor going more than anything is some good brushing, though pets and affection from his friends are a close second. Also, his foster adores him and says he is the sweetest guy ever!

Eclipse has done well with kids and dogs in a previous home, and does not seem to be looking for feline companions. We do think he would pre-fur a home that is quiet and people who are patient, so that he can feel the most comfortable and be the best version of himself!

This precious lady is aptly named, for she is cautious, wise, and knowledgeable…she is also very sweet! Prudence is full of purrs and she absolutely adores being brushed. She is very good at setting her boundaries, so we reccomend her for a home with only older children – who can read her cues and respect her preferences. Prudence is about 6 years old, and would do best as the only kitty in the home. But who care about any of that anyway…just look at that face!
