Our tortie, Lenore, needs a home. This lovely cat is all cat. She’s all tortie. She would be perfect in a home with someone who loves cats and knows them in all their playful, particular, stubborn, and cuddly ways.

As a kitten she would literally run on walls. As she’s gotten older (she’s 6 now I think?), she likes more cuddles  (she’ll let you know exactly how to cuddle her), and she still loves to play.

She lost her best friend LB to a heart condition, and she’s been a little stressed around cats since. She is fond of cats that will defer to her, but she doesn’t seem to be too fond of female cats or cats that don’t let her know she’s the boss. I think she would do best in a home as the only cat or maybe a trial run and see if it works with another cat.

She also is a bit stressed since we added two children. She’s perfectly gentle around them (she does swipe if they bug her too much), but I can tell she’d be happier and less stressed in a home without children.

She is a character in the best way possible, and she deserves a lovely, calm home with people that will love her back. She has all current vaccines, last seen at the vet in December. She is microchipped, and has been spayed.

1/19/2023 **THIS IS A COURTESY POST – Mack is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT bestfriendsofbaker@yahoo.com. Mack is being fostered through Best friends of Baker, an animal rescue organization in Baker City, Oregon. Through no fault of his own, Mack‘s former ‘people mom’ was forced to move. Regrettably, her new living quarters prohibited pets.  She had Mack for the entire 6 years of his life.  He was an indoor “only-child” pet. He has slowly become more comfortable in this foster situation; a home in which he shares with 4 other cats + a very mellow dog.

Mack would ideally do best in a home where he is a solo pet.  A future owner needs to be patient and calm in integrating Mack into a new living situation.  While Mack has come out of his shell, he is not a cuddly, curl-up-in-your lap kind of cat. Mack wants and accepts affection, but on his terms.  Throughout the day, Mack will seek us out for attention and petting; and then he happily finds a spot to rest and be alone.  He is healthy and has a gorgeous coat  (which feels divine and makes it all the more difficult to not cuddle him up!)  Mack is a quiet, reserved adult cat.  His would do best living in a mature, calm adult family.  We’ve not seen Mack around children, but my guess is that small kids would move too quickly and be too loud for his comfort level.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST – Georgie IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT Gail at stant.ga.r@gmail.com FOR MORE INFORMATION**         1/12/2023

Georgie had a rough start in life, but that hasn’t stopped him from being the sweetest kitty! He is somewhat fearful of new situations and takes time to warm up to new people, but once he is comfortable his sweet and goofy personality makes an appearance. He loves snuggling and being carried around like a baby, and loves all toys, especially feather wand toys, tunnels, and his catnip banana. He is quite the conversationalist with an adorable repertoire of little meows and chirps, and loves to hold a conversation with you as he follows you around or plays with his toys. Once he is past the initial readjustment phase, Georgie is an “easy” cat. He stays off the counters, likes treats but is not food obsessed, doesn’t bother plants, and only scratches on the cat tree. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who has the patience to help him readjust to a new home. Because he is somewhat fearful and timid, a home with rambunctious children or dogs would not be a good fit for him.

He is being re-homed at no fault of his own, as the prior resident cat is not accepting Georgie and unfortunately neither cat is getting the space or attention they deserve. Georgie is approximately 2 years old and is completely healthy. He is FIV positive which means that he will need to be an indoor only cat. Learn more about FIV here: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv). Georgie is neutered, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines and will go to his new home with some of his stuff 🙂 If you have questions about Georgie or are interested in adding this sweet boy to your family please contact Gail at stant.ga.r@gmail.com

Hello, my name is Luna Belle! I am about 5 years old and spayed. I am a very sweet girl looking for a nice quiet home. Kids an other pets seem to make me quite anxious so I would be very happy to be an only child! I enjoy my alone time but do love cuddles in a nice calm space once I’ve warmed up to you. We are asking for a rehoming fee of $100 to ensure Luna Belle goes to a good home. Please contact Stacy at sdebest4@gmail.com or call or text 360-931-1975

*THIS IS A COURTESY POST* Mookie is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY 10/27/2022
Mookie is FIV Positive. He has to be an indoor cat, and is unlikely to get along with other cats. He’s also a great cat. Playful, affectionate, holds a conversation, loves a lap. He’s very sweet and has a fun personality. He uses the catbox, and is easily directed to a scratching post. If you are interested, or know anyone who might be, I’d appreciate a text or call…360 721 8432. Mookie has had a tough life. He’s a good boy who deserves a break. I will require a home with either no other cats or a social FIV+ kitty. Because I have FIV I must remain an indoor only cat. I’m perfectly healthy otherwise. For more information on FIV, check out this article from the Cornell Feline Health Center: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST Tom Tom is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT shuli.mantsur@gmail.com 10/19/22

Hello my name is Tom Tom, I am 9 years old, and I have a super interesting story. I was born in an army base in Israel/Palestine and was badly injured by other cats in the base. My human rushed me to a clinic to fix me up and I’ve been thriving ever since. I’ve lived in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Los Angeles & Portland is my latest home.

I do not like cats and have never liked cats and cannot stand other cats. Dogs however are totally fine as long they don’t try to play rough with me. I like kids that are older 9+ is the sweet spot 🙂 I like lots of cuddles in the winter and to adventure outside in the summer.

I’m healthy and strong and spry and smart. I like to climb and sun bathe.

Sometimes if you pet me the wrong way I can get nippy but if you do a good job I’m a puddling purring drooling mess. Do not touch my tummy or we’re not friends.

The only toys I like are ping pong balls.

I like women but LOOOOVE men

*THIS IS A COURTESY POST* Shayleen is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. 12/13/2022

Shayleen is spayed and has only had one owner for most of her life who passed away in March.  Where she is living now the people are too elderly to properly care for her and are looking for a loving home.  Shayleen is very shy,  but with the right person she does come out of her shell.  She has lived with other cats,  but would likely thrive in a quite house where she is the only baby.  She is approximately 9 to 10 years old.  She has not been around many children and tends to hide when there is commotion. Once she warms up to her person she does enjoy head scratches and will even cuddle.  As far as we know she is up to date on all her vaccines.

FOR MORE INFO PLEASE CALL ANDREA 971.221.5244

Shayleen is currently located in Salem,  but we are able to bring her to Portland.
