Boo! My name is Casper. Don’t worry, I am a friendly ghost who loves everyone and everything!   I am a 10 year old Poodle/Terrier weighing in at 8lbs. I just got neutered and had my teeth cleaned recently and am pretty much all healed up now, but still in recovery mode. I have been hanging out with the girls in the office and of course they are always so nice to me and they always give me lots of attention and lots of yummy hotdogs. But it just isn’t the same as being in a nice cozy home of my own. So I am currently looking for someone who can give me a little rest and relaxation out of the shelter. I am a quiet, easy going guy who loves snuggles and does well with the office kitty and doggy too! Available for foster and adoption, I am just a sweet and mellow guy looking for a nice warm lap to retire on. Will it be yours? Fill out a foster or adoption application today, so we can find out. I come to you vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped with an up to date dental with an adoption fee of $350.

Hello darlings! My name is Clarice and I am a sweet 2 year old Bichon mix weighing in at 12lbs. You might recognize the name from a very famous holiday movie about some reindeer games! Just like my movie counterpart, I am a sweet and sensitive doe who can be a little shy at first. But once I warm up to you, I am a snuggle and cuddle master! As you watch me open up, you can tell I am fun gal with lots of energy. In fact, I would love to romp around with a young male pup. He would be the Rudolph to my Clarice! Ha! Having another dog friend around sure helps build my confidence, as I have some great friends in playgroups here at Pixie. Since I can be a little sensitive, I would do best in a low traffic area in a quiet adult only owned home with no cats. I am just a lovely and beautiful lady who would love to have you as my sidekick. “There is always tomorrow, for dreams to come true.” So let’s start fulfilling those dreams together today! Fill out an application, so we can meet. I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

Meet Diddles. He is a 6 year old short hair tabby. I adopted him 5 years ago from the humane society when he was 1 year old and he has been a great partner in crime ever since. He is a very social cat and loves to hang around crowds and follow you around the house and is a total lap cat. He’s quite large, about 16 lbs, and has two deformed back paws, that for the most part, do not hinder him. He loves to play and jump around on his cat shelves and chase bugs on the wall, or he is happy to just lay next to you when you watch your favorite movie.

Here is the situation. For the past year and a half I’ve been living with my partner and her sister who have a 10 year old Doberman/Lab mix.   He is the sweetest dog, but unfortunately he has a horribly high prey instinct.   This is partially due to his very neglected first two years of life, where he was caged most of the time, before he was eventually adopted by my roommate and given an amazing life. Unfortunately, that early isolation gave him some poor behavior and he has difficulty with other animals and does chases every little critter that moves, including Diddles.

The solution has been that Diddles has lived most of the past year and a half in the basement, segregated from all of us and from the dog.   We spend as much time with him as we can, play with him, and watch movies, but it’s not enough and he has begun to act out, attacking randomly and spraying out of his litter box.   He is too social of a cat for this lifestyle and I cannot bare to let him live like this any longer.

I love this cat. I am having the hardest time with this, but I am not giving him the best home, life, and environment that he could have. He needs friends, more stimulation, and a much better home, where he isn’t always running for his life and being segregated from the ones he loves. I would love to find him an amazing cat lover, so if you are interested please contact me by email at

Hello! My name is Marlin and I am a super cute 5 year old Toy Poodle! The name you ask? You guessed it, right from my favorite movie about a clownfish with the same name! And just like him, I am looking for my family too. I am a happy and social guy who loves being around my people. From kids ages 10 and up, I really enjoy getting attention from all and am quite the clown myself! I have a lot of energy that I am ready to put forth towards all our upcoming adventures. I do enjoy playing with my dog pals here at Pixie, though dog parks would be too overwhelming for me. I do enjoy my afternoon walks with the volunteers, as long as I have a nice little sweater on for this brisk fall weather! Sometimes I am so happy to be around my people, that I will start singing. That’s just me. I love to entertain! I do need to be in an owned home with no cats. Hilarious, adorable, and snuggly, I am the catch of the day! Ha. Get it? Like a fish? There I go with my funny business again. Fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.

My name is Eowyn and I’m a sweet, cuddly 7-year-old Snowshoe Siamese girl that loves to snuggle with my one special person.    I can get comfy in any position (my nickname is “puddle” because I just melt into any space that’s available).      My fur is “bunny soft” so petting me is delightful.    I pamper my person, so no scratching or biting or hissing–I’m a mellow girl.    Although I am part Siamese, I don’t talk much and my voice is soft.

I love to hide in out-of-the-way spots and come out for love and attention when things are pretty quiet.    When I first went to my foster home, I hid for a few days, and then discovered how much fun it was to hang out with my foster mom.  I’m still shy about meeting new people, but once I’m settled, I’m a really wonderful companion. I still have a very playful side and if no one is around to play with me, I’ll play all by myself!

I’m also very pretty — can’t you tell?   I have creamy white fur with mocha, chocolate, and black spots.    Top that off with bright blue eyes and a kinky, half-length tail, and I am one gorgeous girl! I’m very mellow and don’t mind living around other animals, though I’d be perfectly happy as your only one. I’ve also lived in a home with children and am very, very gentle, but it seems now I’d definitely prefer a quieter home with one or two people to be my forever companions. We can spend the coming winter snuggled up together — doesn’t that sound lovely? I hope you’ll come meet me soon! I’m currently living in a foster home, so  fill out an application to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, micro-chipped (and with a recent dental already done!) for an adoption fee of $100.

Hello! My name is Tessie and I am a 2 year old Chihuahua/Beagle weighing in at just around 8lbs. I like to lead a quiet and simple life, you know? Just you, me, and another doggy friend of course! My puppy pals really give me a little confidence boost, so I definitely need another doggy in the home. Plus, they are super fun to romp around with! I like hanging out with mellower types like me, whether it is with my human friends over 12 or even those kitties too. Not only am I super cute, but spend a little time with me and you will see how affectionate I can be! After a day full of snuggling, it is time to stretch my little legs with either a short walk around the block or a few laps around the yard. This city is pretty busy for a small gal like me, so I would need and much prefer to be in a low traffic area in a home owned by my adopters. I’m just a maxing and relaxing gal who loves to sunbathe, cuddle and be with my favorite people. Will that be you? Fill out an application today, so we can meet. I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $300.

Penny (top photo) is 5 years old, spayed and weighs around 6-7 lbs. She is very shy at first but when she warms up to you loves to cuddle. Her favorite place is on a warm lap or on your chest when you recline. She loves to catch bugs that may creep into your house. Uses litter box diligently and keeps herself clean. Uses scratching post only. Eats Wellness brand indoor chicken cat food and loves tuna fish or Lean Treats as a snack. Does well with older kids and dogs. Younger children she tends you avoid as they can scare her with their energy. Never been aggressive or had any behavioral problems.

Parker (middle photo) is a very laid back loveable 10 year old neutered cat, and weighs around 9 lbs. He prefers to lounge most of the time, especially in the direct sunlight shining through a window. He loves everyone and is very cuddly. He is very patient with young children and dogs. He lived with a 1 year old that would lay on him and tug his tail and Parker didn’t mind, when he had enough he would simply walk away. Never been aggressive or had any behavioral problems. Uses cat box and scratching posts.

Would prefer they go to home together as they seem to find comfort with each other. Willing to donate their food (about 2 months worth), litter (Costco size bag), scratching post, cat condo, litter box, heart worm/flea prevention, and cat carriers.

If you would like to learn more about Penny and Parker, please call or email Adrea at 509-961-5557 /

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping to read my post. I was hoping my good looks would catch someone’s attention. I’m a six-year-old guy looking for a happy home.   As you may have noticed, I have a unique look. It’s because I’m missing my left eye! Don’t worry though, it happened when I was a kitten and I have completely learned to adapt. In fact, I think it makes me even more distinctive. Other distinctive features of mine are my long lush coat, and my size; I’m almost 20 pounds. I’m probably at least partly Maine Coon. I would definitely be happiest in a home with other animals. In my previous home, I lived with a dog and he and I were best buds. Now I have a feline foster brother who I also get along with quite nicely. I try to run around the house and play with him but he’s somewhat lazy so it never lasts long. Maybe you have some cat and dog friends who can become my new best friends? When I’m not sleeping on my foster dad’s head at night or begging my foster mom for treats, I’m usually hanging out on the toilet. What can I say? Every king needs a throne!    Aren’t you excited to meet me? I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.
