Why hello there — did I startle you? I am Mr. Meezy, the man-made marvel, here to ah-maze you with my piercing blue eyes and incredible charm. I’m an 8-year-old gentleman that is very mellow, with a cool, calm demeanor that helps me get along with just about everybody. Though I’m stunning with my Siamese looks, I am not your typical loud-mouthed Siamese man — in fact, the staff here haven’t heard me make a peep. I love to slink about and check out the scene, whether that be what’s for dinner, what new people have come to visit me, or what other cats are sharing my space. Whatever it is, I’m generally okay with it — it’s just my nature. Being such a polite gentleman, I receive quite a bit of affection from everyone who meets me, and that is always welcomed with big purrs and lots of rubbing up against folks or laying by their side. I’m a size-able guy, but fairly low energy and low-maintenance. I’d likely do well around other animals and kids, but would also do fine in a home with a single person or someone who needed to work a regular work week. As long as I have someone to snuggle with in the evenings, and who will share their adventures with me when they return, I’m perfectly happy to remain indoors and wait to be a loving companion for my person. Don’t you think I’m perfectly meow-valous? I hope we’ll meet soon! Fill out an application today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s me – Maybelle! I’m a gorgeous beauty model (can’t you tell) with a personality that is as funny and endearing as I am beautiful. I’m around 6-years-old, and am sure to make you smile with my slightly crossed eyes, very round body, and silly facial expressions! At first, I can be just a tad shy, but once you start petting me and I know you’re a friend, I will start purring and rolling around and will come out for more! Though I am part Siamese, I am a very quiet lady and quite mellow. I’d say I’m more of the “Netflix and chill” type, and would enjoy a slower-paced home where I can get lots of cuddle time in when my people are home. I won’t be super demanding for attention though, since nap-time is equally important and I’d be fine lounging around (as long as I’m fed, of course) while you work. I’m definitely fine as an indoor kitty and am used to living around other cats as well. It might take me just a little bit to adjust to new surroundings, but once I’m settled I will make someone such a wonderful, snuggly, silly companion! I really hope you’re as excited to meet me as I am to meet you! Fill out an application today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

My name is Marlena, here to make you smile! I’m a quirky girl that is full of love and personality, and a petite girl that is just around 18 months old. One thing that makes me extra special is the fact that I was born pretty much totally blind. I still have both of my beautiful, blood-orange eyes, however I am not able to see and so sometimes I take a little longer to adjust to my surroundings. One I’m comfortable, however, I am a sweet, cuddly little girl who will make muffins in your lap! I’m also very playful and am really good at chasing wand toys or finding jingly balls to tear around with. I’ve got a big purr and will happily snuggle up with you and roll around for pets — I’m very charming, after all! I’m a quiet girl and fairly low-maintenance despite my lack of vision. I will definitely need to be totally indoors, which I’m used to, and I do well in a smaller space such as an apartment setting, though I have no problem leaping from space to space once I know my environment well. I’m also great at following my person around and keeping close to wherever you are. I have lived peacefully around other cats before, though extra time during transition is always going to be key for me since I am not as initially confident and need patience while I adjust to new things. For this reason, I would also do best in a home with either older, respectful kids or no kids. Blind cats can live very happy, full lives and the doctor at Pixie does not believe I’m in any pain or that I’ll need any special medical care. There are some tips on how to help your blind kitty at this website here: https://www.thesprucepets.com/how-to-help-a-blind-cat-553892 Are you looking for a sweet, special young lady like me? I’m so excited to find my forever family! Won’t you fill out an application to meet me today? I’m currently residing in a foster home, and come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Hello! My name is Katie Cakes and I am a as sweet as pie 9 year old Lab/Rotty gal. Everyone says I am one of the most loving doggies you will ever meet and they are completely right! I am a super mellow senior gal who enjoys just kind of chilling and hanging around with my favorite pals-whether they are my human friends or those doggy and kitties too! I am just always excited to mingle with everyone and seem to always have a smile on my face! My foster says some of my favorite things are: toys, golf balls, food, short walks, naps, oversized comfy beds, and of course, getting lots of pets and attention. At roughly 80lbs, I need to go on a little bit of diet and exercise plan, but I am motivated and a total people pleaser, which will make it easier for me to shed those pounds.  And plus I just adore my afternoon walks and though I am not quite an avid hiker, I would be happy to join on a short jaunt around the block. I would do best in a home without a lot of stairs as I am an older gal with old lady hips.  Sweet, social, and full of some of the best snuggles, I am the perfect companion and would love to join your family. So fill out an application today and we can set up a meet! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

Oh hi! Admiring my handsome mug are you? I know, I know. I get it all the time from the puparazzi. I was just made for the big screen. My name is Lucas and I am a 11 month old Black Lab weighing in at about 50lbs. Don’t let my serious face fool you! That’s just my acting face. I am actually quite the goofy, happy, and silly puppy who loves to run, jump, and play with just about everyone I meet! In fact, I am in a foster with a bunch of other fellow dog pals and I am just having a blast! You might notice one of my front legs is a bit shorter than the rest. It appears to be an older injury that healed on it’s own. It’s not keeping me down though! They have consulted specialists and decided right now, surgery is not necessary. Pixie is committed to help me through anything that might come up, but for now, they say to just keep doing what I am doing! So I would be happy to join you on hiking adventures or exploring the beach. Lights, camera, action! Let’s start making our movie together today! I am available for adoption, but am also looking for another foster home as well. Fill out an application today or mail info@pixieproject.org if you are interested in fostering me while I search for my forever home! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

“Hiyah!” Oh hi, didn’t see you there. I was just practicing my moves for my Kill Bill character. I am getting pretty good at, but boy do I still need a lot of practice.  I am only a pup after all! My name is Lucy Liu and I am a 6 month old yellow Lab mix weighing around 40lbs. I am a silly and super energetic girl. In fact, I am more bouncy than your average lab puppy, but am a very quick learner. As I said before, I am still in training and need someone who can show me the basics and more, as PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION! I am strong gal so I need an active family with older kiddos over 13, and with nice yard to help me run some of this energy out. And don’t forget those interactive food toys too to help train my growing brain! I have met some dogs at Pixie and have really made some great friends. I would even love to have a pup in the home who can teach me the ways of the dog.  No kitties in my home please! I am a confident, driven lady with a heart of gold who is eager to learn more about the world. Will you teach me the ways? Fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

I am Dorian Havilliard, a handsome prince of a cat ready to steal your heart with my charm! I’m around 2-years-old, and young and dashing as ever. Most people are quickly won over by my sweet demeanor and flirtatious ways. Though at one time I was quite the hunter and was forced to make my way outdoors, I’m quite content to be living the lavish indoor life, where my spoils are brought right to me and I can lounge comfortably on the finest throws and blankets, keeping myself impeccably clean. The indoor life — the life of a royal — is the life for me! That being said, I may fare better in a slightly larger space versus a small apartment. I like to hunt and chase, and will happily play with a dangly string toy and chase toy mice around the house. I’m still a young man, after all! I’m a gentle, passive prince that doesn’t seem to mind the presence of other animals around me, and would probably do well in a home with older children so long as I was given a little time to adapt to my new space. I have tested positive for FIV, which means that I will absolutely need to be an indoor cat and should only share my space with other FIV positive cats, if any. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives just like other cats, and typically do not take any medication or special food. I will definitely need to have regular vet exams to ensure that I stay healthy and happy, and I’ll need to stay indoors to ensure I do not spread the disease to other cats. For more information on FIV, check out this article from the Cornell Feline Health Center:  http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm. I do hope you’ll come visit me soon, so I can share my castle with you! I think you’ll find I’m quite becoming! Please fill out an application today to meet me — I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

“When a problem comes along, you must Whip It! Before the cream sits out too long, you must Whip It!”  Hi everyone! My name is Devo and I am a 1 year old Whippet mix weighing in around 18 lbs. As you can see, though I am not wearing the signature red hat, I am quite the handsome guy with some pretty unique markings. It goes perfectly with my silly and eclectic personality! I am a pretty happy go lucky kid who enjoys the finer things in life: snuggles, walks around the block, and my favorite, playing fetch with my squeaky toys! Since I am a little new to the world still, I am learning a lot of life skills and need someone who can positively continue teaching me all about it. TRAINING CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION! I am still new to playing with other dogs and I have made some friends here at Pixie, but dog parks would be a little too overwhelming for me. I can be a little aloof and sensitive sometimes, so I would do best in an adult only quiet, yet active owned home as I go through  this prime training and socialization period. Cute, adorable, and a total goofball, I am ready to take on life with my forever family today. So fill out an application today and make sure to whip it, whip it good! I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $350.
