Hi everyone! My name is Buster and I am just handsome 10  month old 35 lb terrier mix looking for some love! My hobbies include playing ball, playing with squeaker toys, and most of all-playing on your heartstrings when I snuggle up next to you for some cuddle time. My foster family has been really great at teaching me the basics and I have flourished in basic obedience. I am still up for learning some more though, as  PUPPY CLASSES ARE MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION.  I am so happy and eager to hang out with my human pals 10 and up. But no cats allowed in this clubhouse!  I enjoy  playing with my new dog pals here at Pixie!  I am especially a lady’s man and would love to have another confident gal pal in the house! Since I am active guy, I would really enjoy having a lot of space and a yard to stretch out my legs in with a few games of fetch. I am a sweet and affectionate with a great energy and I would adore being your active hiking pal!  If you love to play as much as I do, but also love some snuggle time on the side, then fill out an application  today so we can meet! I come to you vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $250.

Evernote Camera Roll 20160528 113748

I’m going by the name Wednesday, Wendy if you prefer. I was dropped off at the vet’s office for surgery (spaying) and picked up by another person, completely unaware of the arrangements that had been made for me.
Originally I lived on a farm in less then ideal conditions, but today I have been attending boarding school, and I am doing really well!
I will admit I can be a sassy country girl, but I mean well. I have picked up some new sports, playing tennis ball fetch and jogging. I’m excelling at my recall work (coming when called) and my self-control at door ways or around food. I’m not always super hyper though, I love my quiet time too. I’m an active movie watcher; I like Lady and the Tramp and Homeward Bound.
I’m majoring in dog language, and I wouldn’t mind a friendly and gentle dog to show me the rules in my new home.
My nickname is Monkey. You will see why when you meet me but I will say I’m very good at social learning (monkey see monkey do). So if there is a dog already living in the family, it’s best if they are the calm quiet type because I would be happy to join in any shenanigans. I have been known to get myself into trouble when I have a friend to do it with me.
I LOVE children and long walks on the beach. No, I really do love dog savvy and gentle children. I’m also a fan of their food too. Just as a note I should never be left unattended with young children especially due to my small size. (13lb).
My biggest fear, and the one I’m in counseling for, is adult humans. It does not matter their size, sex, race, or what they are wearing. I just don’t like strangers. In my old home I could never be sure if the people who came around were friend or foe, and today I’m still haunted by my not-so-distant past. Some days are better than others and my counselor says I’m improving.
The last thought I would like to tell my future family is please don’t pull me from school… I’m finally getting the education I deserve and if I have to move to a new school or be home schooled that’s okay, I just want to keep learning. I think I’m finally understanding my purpose in life, maybe I could be a doctor one day… a dog can dream.
My current teacher/counselor is willing to offer free introduction trainings and continued two months of training online or in person if you live close enough. She believes in me and I hope that you will too.
I look forward to meeting you, even though I will probably test (shy away and bark at) you before I allow you into my life. It’s my way of finding out your true intentions. I have a very tight circle of friends that I hold very close, and I never forget a friendly face. I’m a bit of a romantic that way and I fall hard in love. I would like to fall in love just one more time, with my permanent family, and not worry about heartbreaks any more.
Once I’m settled I promise to be a really good dog. I don’t potty in the house, I sit, down, shake, roll over, and spin on command. I walk nicely on a leash and come when called. Things are looking up. This is the last step in my journey to a new life.
Female/Spayed/13lb/3 years in June/Up to date on vaccines.

Rosy here! I am a fluffy black lady cat and at only 3 years old, I have a lot of love to give! Right off the bat, I’ve proven to be a very confident and loving cat who is really more on the mellow side. Although I can definitely get into playtime, most of the time I’m happy just lounging around and waiting for the next lap to sit on. I’m currently residing in the Pixie cattery where I live peacefully around other kitties, but I am not necessarily in need of another kitty companion. I kind of just do my own thing when it comes to other animals, but I am a huge fan of people. I welcome petting and brushing and will roll over and flirt with visitors who stop by to say hi! Even though I’m pretty mellow and would do fine in a household where there isn’t a ton of action, I also do well with children and would likely fit in just about anywhere! I’m just a black beauty waiting to be admired! Won’t you take some time to stop and smell the roses? This rose can’t wait to meet you! I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Bonjour — are you ready to take a trip? My name is Paris and I am a beautiful 7-year-old calico girl who is as social as I am striking! I came from a home where I lived with another cat and have had a ton of socialization — some would describe me as “dog-like” because I’m so friendly and playful! My coat looks like a Monet painting with swirls of red and black and my eyes are a beautiful light green that will draw you in. I like to roll around on my back and make croissants with my paws whenever I see a friendly human face. I have lived indoors my whole life and would probably do wonderfully around other mellow cats, kids, and dogs — I’ve lived with all three and nothing really seems to phase me! When I first came into the shelter, the stress of the transition did cause me to have some crystals in my urine, so the vet said I should eat a special food for now until I find stability again and another vet can decide to take me off of it. I have no history of urinary issues and am a very healthy cat who had a recent dental and regular vet care prior to coming to Pixie. Are you interested in meeting me? I’m currently stealing hearts over at the Petco Unleashed on NW 23rd & Burnside — stop by today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

sid and nancy

Hi! We are Sid and Nancy! We are brother and sister who have really good genes and are very healthy according to our vet. We are pretty independent and usually like to play with each other. But we’d definitely take being loved and pet by you over each other any day J We know where our litter box is and don’t need special care besides love and attention. We like to climb on our cat tree and only scratch on our post. We like dry food with water over the top to make sure we drink enough H2O. We both love our bellies and butts scratched! We don’t shed too much either J Nancy is a manx and Sid is an American medium hair. We are pretty lazy when you aren’t around but will come out to play with laser pointers or toys when you are there J We have both been fixed and microchipped and vaccinated and want to have a loving forever home.  If interested, please contact Claire at

I am Ash — the beautiful 11-month-old kitty who was named after the little smudge mark on my forehead! Other than my beauty spot, I am an all-white  girl who is as sweet as I am petite! I am young, social, and still very playful being that I’m just under a year old. Even though I absolutely love people, I haven’t been able to handle being in the cattery at Pixie around the other cats. I may eventually be able to acclimate to a feline friend, but for now it seems I’d be happiest as the only Queen kitty in my castle. Kids and dogs don’t seem to bother me, and I will roll over and flirt with anyone who comes to visit! Since I’m an all-white kitty, it will be safest for me to be indoors my whole life to avoid sunburn and outdoor predators. I’m fine with that though — all I need is love and lap-time from an adoring human to make my life complete! I’m currently living at the Petco Unleashed on NW 23rd & Burnside and can’t wait to meet you — won’t you come say hello? I come you spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $100.
