Meet Sylvie & Bagheera – a bonded pair who were rescued together and are inseparable, we would like them to be adopted together if possible! Both kitties are very sweet, gentle and mellow, love affection and being in your lap or laying on your desk as you work (currently housed at our office). Bagheera (black) is very social and a total lovebug, whereas Sylvie (grey) is more on the shy side until she warms up, but also is such a sweetheart who particularly is a lap kitty. Both cats came around very quickly and looking for their furever home. Both cats have received all vaccines and microchipped; Bagheera is neutered and Sylvie will be spayed on 10/7/26.

If you are interested in meeting Sylvie & Bagheera, contact Toni at 503-946-1106. We are located in SE Portland.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Cloudy is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT.**

12/12/2025

Cloudy is about 8 months old. She’s spayed and had vaccinations at FCCO on 12/3/25. Cloudy is a petite dilute tortie with grit. She’s the queen of the household. The best home for her would be calm, peaceful with routine, another cat, and whipped cream, her favorite treat.

Chowder is a handsome 2½-year-old cream tabby who is ready to find his forever home and his new favorite person!  He’s a perfect buddy in the making, with a silly, playful personality that makes him easy to love. Chowder is just as content hanging out as a certified couch potato as he is in being the center of attention.

Chowder has a past history of Pica, which is now well managed with a few simple precautions and the help of regular fluoxetine. Since settling into his new routine, Chowder has been thriving. He’s happy, flourishing, and doing really well! Because of his history, he’ll need a cat-savvy family who understands his needs and can help him continue to thrive. He’s looking for a home where he can be your one-and-only pet, with no other cats, dogs, or young children.

He’s ready to settle in, make himself comfortable, and become your new best friend. Chowder is neutered and is fully up to date on his vaccinations, so he’ll be ready to start his next chapter with his forever family.

Could you be the one Chowder has been waiting for?

Meet Jade & Star — a sweet mother-daughter duo 💫

Jade (2 y/o) and Star (1 y/o) are a beautiful mother-and-daughter pair from a beach cat colony on Kauai, where they’ve been cared for and loved. They’re hoping to leave beach life behind for something even better: a safe, loving home of their own — together.

Jade, the mama, is an absolute lovebug. She is incredibly friendly, cuddly, and affectionate, and genuinely seems happiest when she’s getting love and attention from her people. She has the wonderful, easygoing sweetness of a cat who has discovered that humans are pretty great.

Star, her daughter, is the quieter of the two. She takes a little more time to warm up and prefers to get to know you at her own pace. But she loves being part of things — hanging out nearby, keeping you company, and settling into the comfort of being close. Give her a little patience and the chance to feel secure, and her gentle personality begins to shine

The girls are very close and can often be found lounging together, keeping each other company, or simply enjoying life side by side. Jade’s confidence and affection also help Star feel safe, which is one of the reasons we would love to see them adopted together.

They’ve already had the adventure of growing up beside the ocean on Kauai. Now they’re ready for their next chapter: soft beds, a safe home, people to love, and each other.

If you have room in your home and heart for two, Jade and Star would love to meet you.

Look at this handsome boy!

Bombay is a quiet, gentle soul whose personality is just beginning to shine. At about 1 year old, he’s young, brave, and playful—and there’s a sweet little guy underneath that cautious exterior who seems genuinely interested in getting to know people.

Bombay is part of a beach cat colony here on Kauaʻi that I care for. While outdoor life is what he knows, he’s very curious about people and other animals. He enjoys following us around, lounging nearby, and simply being part of whatever is going on.

He probably won’t walk through the door and immediately make himself at home. Bombay will need a little patience and time to understand that he’s welcome. But for the right person, watching this shy cat learn to trust, play, and let his true personality shine could be incredibly rewarding.

Bombay is neutered, microchipped and ready to hang out.

Please reach out if you’d like to connect and learn more.

Meet Lucy! What a sweet girl.

Lucy is 3 years old and looking for her forever home. She’s an easygoing, affectionate girl who gets along well with other cats, so she could be a wonderful companion for a cat already in the home. She’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention for herself.

I’ve been impressed by how well she integrates and adapts, warming up quickly to new situations.

Lucy has spent her life as part of a beach cat colony here on Kauai that I care for. She is so friendly and people-oriented that I really feel she deserves the chance to have a safe, loving home of her own.

If you think Lucy might be a good fit for you—or you know someone who might be interested—please reach out!

She’s already spayed and microchipped.

🖤Jelly and Muffin have already found each other. Now they just need to find you! 🖤

Meet Jelly and Muffin, two young and spry sweethearts who have figured out one of life’s most important things: everything is better when you have a best friend.

Jelly is a pleasantly plump 2-year-old domestic shorthair, and Muffin is a petite and equally adorable 1-year-old domestic medium hair, both with gorgeous jet-black fur. They are healthy, neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and ready for a family of their very own.

And these two really do love each other.

They sleep together, play together, snuggle together, check in on each other, and generally go about life as a devoted two-cat team. If one is investigating something interesting, chances are the other won’t be far behind. They have already chosen each other as family, so Jelly and Muffin will, of course, be adopted together.

Jelly and Muffin are curious, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully social. Once they’ve had a little time to settle in and learn that they’re home, they will become part of the fabric of your daily life, making sure that you always have love, companionship, and entertainment.

They also have healthy appetites and happily enjoy both wet and dry food. Jelly and Muffin are indoor-only cats and are looking forward to a life filled with all the comforts and adventures of home.

Both have been social with other cats, but Jelly takes his role as Muffin’s best friend rather seriously and can become protective of him around other pets. We think they’ve got all the feline companionship they need in each other, so we’re looking for a home where Jelly and Muffin can be the only pets.

What do they want instead of other pets? Humans!

Humans to cuddle with. Humans to play with. Humans to supervise around the house. And a couch with room for a cuddle pile with their human(s).

Mostly, Jelly and Muffin are ready to belong.

They’ve already found their best friend. Now they just need to find their family. Is that you? 🖤

Are you looking for a loving, easygoing, gentle kitty who is absolutely adorable—and who, more than anything, wants to be your best friend and part of the fabric of your everyday life? You’re in luck! Meet Sasha, an approximately 2.5-year-old sweetie looking for something she has never stably had: a home and family to call her very own.

Sasha is perfect: social, playful, gentle, trusting, curious, and easygoing, with an adorable purr and an enthusiastic head butt when she wants some love. She adores people and likes to follow her humans from room to room, curl up nearby or settle into a lap, and make sure she’s never too far away. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention—she just wants to be part of your world.

Sasha is also a great conversationalist! She has a sweet, expressive meow and likes to say hello, chat with her humans, and sprinkle little updates throughout the day about the important happenings around the house. It’s one more endearing way she makes herself part of everyday life.

Sasha previously lived at the Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary, where she shared her life with other cats and had many loving caregivers. She gets along well with other felines and could be a wonderful companion for another cat, but with her love of people, she would also be very happy as your or your family’s one and only. Given her relaxed, easygoing nature, a respectful, cat-friendly dog would likely be A-OK by Sasha, too.

Sasha is healthy, active, spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and has a great appetite. When she was a kitten, she developed a urinary tract infection that resulted in crystals in her urine. This was associated with the infection rather than a chronic or idiopathic crystal condition. Her veterinarian recommends keeping her on a prescription urinary diet as a precaution, and her most recent examination and urinalysis confirmed that her urine is clear with no deposits present.

More than anything, Sasha is ready for the simple, wonderful experience of belonging. A family or human of her own, a favorite spot on the couch, someone to follow into the next room, a lap to curl up on, and people who are just as happy to have her nearby as she is to be there.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful companion with a sweet purr, a gentle head butt, plenty to talk about, and a habit of never being too far away, Sasha may just be the best friend you’ve been looking for.

Sasha is an indoor-only cat available for adoption through Cats in the City Rescue | Feline Transitions in Portland, Oregon.

To meet Sasha, please email us at rescue@catsinthecityrescue.com or call 503-214-2003, and ask for Sasha!
