4/13/2023 **THIS IS A COURTESY POST. BODHI IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT Bill at billanderson714@icloud.com

Bodhi is a farm boy that we ”inherited” when we moved onto the farm we live and work on. The previous owner said he had been in the neighborhood for a couple years before we moved in—and was a very young boy then–so the best we can figure, he’s about 5 years old. He’s got a few scars from minor skirmishes with other local cats, but since he was neutered a couple months ago, these have gone down significantly! He’s a very friendly boy, but you do have to earn his trust as I think someone mistreated him. He seems to be very good with other animals. We have a Basset Hound and as you can see, he and Emma are pals. Also, we have about 50 free-range chickens, ducks, and geese and he has never bothered any of them. He needs a good home with someone who will give him love and attention, and most importantly, a warm, safe place that is coyote free. He has been living outside and the coyotes in our area have gotten so bad I am very concerned for his safety. Please consider giving this wonderful boy a good home and you’ll be sure to be rewarded; he’s so affectionate and will love you for life! Bodhi comes with a small adoption fee of $50.

*THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Ollie is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; For more information, email Stacey at staceywsteel@gmail.com

This little cutie is about 10 months old and is such a sweetheart! He came to us as a friendly, hungry stray and has been enjoying the cozy indoor life lately. While we wish we could keep him, our schedules and smaller sized home don’t quite meet his needs and we feel he’d be happiest in another environment. Ollie is a confident, energetic guy who loves to play with others or on his own when he gets bouts of zoomies, particularly in the mornings and evenings. He’s curious, likes exploring spaces, and would do best in a home that allows him to wander. He also enjoys affectionate head/chin scratches, cuddling, and will happily lay on your lap or crawl into your arms. Along with his adorable sweetness, he can have a feisty side so some calm patience will help continue his training.

Ollie is very food motivated and occasionally needs to be moved to a different room when meat is on the menu. Given his background, it’s unclear how he’d do with another cat in the home. He may love and benefit from a playmate or he might desire all the attention. A child free home will be best.

He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea medicated, and as healthy as can be! Adoption fee of $100 which will include his favorite toys. If you want more info or if Ollie feels like a match, please contact us to set up a meet and greet! staceywsteel@gmail.com

*THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Wally is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; For more information, email Sabina at sabina.heidi.noll@gmail.com.

Wally is a handsome but shy neutered adult male (exact age unknown; my guess is around 5 or 6 years) with lovely orange tabby markings. He has tiny, high-pitched meows and deep, rumbly purrs, both of which he deploys liberally. I’ve been fostering him for his previous owner, who rescued him from an abusive situation (likely the source of his skittishness) but was unable to keep him long term. Despite only being with her for around six months, he was very affectionate and would even follow her to the restroom to sit on her lap, so it’s safe to say he’s a real lover after he gets to know you. He previously spent a lot of time outside and is not pleased to currently be in a situation where he’s not allowed out, so he would love to have a permanent home with a catio or one that can provide him safe outdoor access. When inside, he enjoys chasing around sparkly balls. Wally previously did well with other cats but has not been around dogs, and I suspect children would overwhelm him, so an adults-only home would be ideal. He has no known medical conditions, but will need updated shots and has not been tested for FIV or FeLV. I can be reached at sabina.heidi.noll@gmail.com.

12/8/23 **THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Meredith is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; For more information, email Katie at drwilloughby@cpahvet.com.

Meet Meredith, a precious 11 year old gal looking for a home to live out her golden years.

Meredith is a people LOVER. She will happily place herself between the computer screen and you if the petting pauses for too long. She knows how to steal the hearts of everyone she meets.

This one-eyed beauty is currently in a foster due to some inapproproate urination. This was happening a few times a week in her previous home. This behavior has not been displayed in her current foster home.

Meredith has never lived with other animals but comfortably shared her space when introduced to a polite dog.

As a senior cat, ongoing vet care is a must. This gentle soul deserves nothing but the best.  Meredith’s adoption fee is $110

If you’re interested in adopting or learning more about Meredith please email Drwilloughby@cpahvet.com.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POSTBernard IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY 8/23/23

Hello friends, my name is Bernard. I was abandoned near Estacada. The neighbors have been leaving food out for me, but I’m ready for a new forever home. I don’t mean to brag, but I may be the friendliest cat you’ll ever meet. I love EVERYONE I meet and show it by purring loudly. I especially like pets, being held, and crawling up in warm laps.

Vitals:

  • Neighbors report that Bernard might be part lion, on account of his massive paws and long, silky coat. He may also be part mouse, on account of his high pitched meow.
  • Bernard is SO friendly that he has amassed a fan club. When Bernard is adopted, he will come with gifted food and treats and a monetary donation toward his next vet visit.
  • Bernard is neutered and estimated to be 10 years old. He has a happy demeanor and is very affectionate.
  • Bernard appears friendly with other cats. Temperament toward other types of animals is unknown.
  • Sometime between 2015 and 2023, Bernard was exposed to the FIV virus. He will do best among other FIV-positive cats or as the only cat in the household.
  • The humans who found Bernard treated him for a double ear infection and brought him up to date on vaccinations. Ears should be re-examined.
  •  He is FIV positive which means that he will need to be an indoor only cat. Learn more about FIV here: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv).

8/4/2023 **THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Princess is NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; For more information, call Michele Matthews 503-577-5899.

Hi, my name is Princess and I recently lost my owner of 14 years. I was
with her until the end and I am looking for someone new to love and take
care of. I like to start everyday out by snuggling and giving kisses. Even though I
am an older kitty, I still have some kitten spunk in me and I love to play with
kitty toys. One of my favorite toys is “Da Bird”. I am litter box trained and
will even will let you give me kitty manicures and clip my claws! Yes, I truly
am a Princess! I am very independent, and I am extremely easy to take care of. I love taking cat naps and am happy with grazing on dry food all day long. I would be perfect for someone that does not have other pets and am happy being the only kitty in the house. I am a Turkish Van, which is a rare breed of cat that loves water and you may even catch me trying to play in the sink or hop in your tub. I am purrfect for someone that is looking for companionship and a loyal friend for life.
For more information, call Michele Matthews 503-577-5899.
