Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s me – Maybelle! I’m a gorgeous beauty model (can’t you tell) with a personality that is as funny and endearing as I am beautiful. I’m around 6-years-old, and am sure to make you smile with my slightly crossed eyes, very round body, and silly facial expressions! At first, I can be just a tad shy, but once you start petting me and I know you’re a friend, I will start purring and rolling around and will come out for more! Though I am part Siamese, I am a very quiet lady and quite mellow. I’d say I’m more of the “Netflix and chill” type, and would enjoy a slower-paced home where I can get lots of cuddle time in when my people are home. I won’t be super demanding for attention though, since nap-time is equally important and I’d be fine lounging around (as long as I’m fed, of course) while you work. I’m definitely fine as an indoor kitty and am used to living around other cats as well. It might take me just a little bit to adjust to new surroundings, but once I’m settled I will make someone such a wonderful, snuggly, silly companion! I really hope you’re as excited to meet me as I am to meet you! Fill out an application today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

My name is Marlena, here to make you smile! I’m a quirky girl that is full of love and personality, and a petite girl that is just around 18 months old. One thing that makes me extra special is the fact that I was born pretty much totally blind. I still have both of my beautiful, blood-orange eyes, however I am not able to see and so sometimes I take a little longer to adjust to my surroundings. One I’m comfortable, however, I am a sweet, cuddly little girl who will make muffins in your lap! I’m also very playful and am really good at chasing wand toys or finding jingly balls to tear around with. I’ve got a big purr and will happily snuggle up with you and roll around for pets — I’m very charming, after all! I’m a quiet girl and fairly low-maintenance despite my lack of vision. I will definitely need to be totally indoors, which I’m used to, and I do well in a smaller space such as an apartment setting, though I have no problem leaping from space to space once I know my environment well. I’m also great at following my person around and keeping close to wherever you are. I have lived peacefully around other cats before, though extra time during transition is always going to be key for me since I am not as initially confident and need patience while I adjust to new things. For this reason, I would also do best in a home with either older, respectful kids or no kids. Blind cats can live very happy, full lives and the doctor at Pixie does not believe I’m in any pain or that I’ll need any special medical care. There are some tips on how to help your blind kitty at this website here: https://www.thesprucepets.com/how-to-help-a-blind-cat-553892 Are you looking for a sweet, special young lady like me? I’m so excited to find my forever family! Won’t you fill out an application to meet me today? I’m currently residing in a foster home, and come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Lana (tortoiseshell) and her sister Eloise (black) are two funny, playful, social sisters around 5-years-old and the best of friends! These petite little ladies are the life of the party and are always quick to run up to new people to say hello and see what’s going on. They are full of energy and still have a lot of kitten-ness to them — running and chasing after string toys and investigating new things whenever they can! They aren’t bothered by much, and enjoy lots of attention from people big and small. They share their space with other cats just fine, and don’t seem intimidated by dogs. Lana and Eloise were brought to Pixie after their owner lost their home and was unable to provide medical care for their severe flea allergies, which they’re now recovering well from — while their coats are thin now, they are already growing back in and the girls are looking more gorgeous every day! They have now been given a clean bill of health and are more than ready to find their forever home together. Both are used to being indoors and would make great family pets! If you’re in search of a darling pair to entertain you and keep you company, please fill out an application to meet them today! They come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for a combined adoption fee of $180.

I am Dorian Havilliard, a handsome prince of a cat ready to steal your heart with my charm! I’m around 2-years-old, and young and dashing as ever. Most people are quickly won over by my sweet demeanor and flirtatious ways. Though at one time I was quite the hunter and was forced to make my way outdoors, I’m quite content to be living the lavish indoor life, where my spoils are brought right to me and I can lounge comfortably on the finest throws and blankets, keeping myself impeccably clean. The indoor life — the life of a royal — is the life for me! That being said, I may fare better in a slightly larger space versus a small apartment. I like to hunt and chase, and will happily play with a dangly string toy and chase toy mice around the house. I’m still a young man, after all! I’m a gentle, passive prince that doesn’t seem to mind the presence of other animals around me, and would probably do well in a home with older children so long as I was given a little time to adapt to my new space. I have tested positive for FIV, which means that I will absolutely need to be an indoor cat and should only share my space with other FIV positive cats, if any. Cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives just like other cats, and typically do not take any medication or special food. I will definitely need to have regular vet exams to ensure that I stay healthy and happy, and I’ll need to stay indoors to ensure I do not spread the disease to other cats. For more information on FIV, check out this article from the Cornell Feline Health Center:  http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm. I do hope you’ll come visit me soon, so I can share my castle with you! I think you’ll find I’m quite becoming! Please fill out an application today to meet me — I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Greetings! My name is Natalya and I’m a gorgeous 2-year-old lady that is very lively and loves attention! I was a young mama cat in foster with my kittens in a very busy home with young children and that was just fine with me — in fact, I’d probably enjoy lots of activity and kids in my forever home as well. I’m a gentle girl that can be a little chatty when I’m looking to play and cuddle. I will even pop up on my hind legs and give you a little headbutt saying “Pet me, pet me!”. If no one is around to play with me, I’m fine chasing a ball around and having fun all by myself. I’m an entertaining girl that is fairly active and would definitely do best with a lot of space and room to explore, so apartment life wouldn’t be ideal for me. I have a big personality and like to be the center of attention, so sometimes I can be a little bossy towards other cats and dogs. If you’re looking for a single, family-friendly girl to provide a ton of entertainment and love, I’m definitely your lady! Think your family is the perfect fit for a pretty gal like me? Fill out an application to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped for an adoption fee of $100.

Adoption Policy Change for 2016: Pixie will continue to collect the full adoption fee for dogs after the completion of a two-week trial, but starting January first, Pixie will require a $100 deposit from adopters when the dog is taken home. This $100 is not refundable and helps to provide the behavior assessments, any necessary veterinary care, and personalized adoption services, and will be applied towards your adoption fee.
