Hello! My name is Jacob and I am an adorable 7 yo poodle mix weighing in around 12lbs. My foster mom says my favorite things include: belly rub, butt scratches and hanging outside, soaking up the sun! I did come from Texas after all , so this cool weather is a refreshing change. Though, I am still not used to the city life and am not a fan of high traffic areas, so a quieter neighborhood would be best. When I first came to Pixie, you could tell I hadn’t had proper care in awhile. But after a few months of recovery and a dashing haircut, I am feeling better than ever! The vet says I do have a little bit of doggy asthma and sometimes cough in moments of excitement or activity, but is nothing that requires further medical support. I can take a second to warm up to new people and would thrive in an adult only owned home with less foot traffic. I been doing great with my fellow foster doggy friends and another confident pup in the home would help me blossom a little more too! No kitties in my home please. Overall, I am a silly, handsome, and special guy looking for a special home that will give me the love I totally deserve! Fill out an application, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $350.

Hi! Hello! Now that I have gotten your attention, I have a joke for you. Why did the cowboy adopt a dachshund? To get a Long  Little Doggy! Ha! I am always cracking jokes because I love being happy. My name is Ella and I am a 5 year old dapple dachshund weighing around 12 lbs. Being a classic doxie, I am like a fun sized energy bar ready to be on the go! I enjoy my daily walks around the block with the volunteers at Pixie and am always down for a game of fetch with some of my favorite toys. Well, still working on the fetch part of it. But I just need your help and some treats, I am sure I will get the hang of it in no time! I am very confident, maybe too confident, with my other dog pals and I tend to be forward in my greetings. Though I am not a dog park dog, I would be happy to have a romp session with a doggy sibling or friend who can handle my intrusive playstyle. I seem to very interested in playing with cats, so a confident younger dog savvy kitty would be ok too. I am excited to meet my human pals and would do best living with older kiddos 13 and up. Silly, sweet, and full of personality, I am ready to make you laugh today! So fill out an application and we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

Now you see me, now you don’t! I’m sure you noticed there aren’t many non blurry pictures of me. I’m just too fast! My name is Spunky and well, I am just that! At around 1 year old, I am a 10lb Min Pin mix who loves to play! Being a classic terrier, I am always on the go! Since I am still a young guy, I am always learning and would be happy if someone could teach me the basics. A BASIC TRAINING CLASS IS MANDATORY FOR MY ADOPTION! I am a very outgoing player with my doggy friends and wouldn’t mind a confident puppy pal who can handle my exuberance. And I haven’t really paid much attention to the Pixie office cat, so a confident dog savvy kitty would be ok too! I generally like to express myself through my wiggles and voice. I am a classic wild child and would be happy in an owned home with kiddos over 12. Overall, I am a funny, endearing, and quirky kid looking to entertain my new family! Fill out an application today, so we can meet! I come to you neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $350.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ON JACQUES, PLEASE CONTACT BJORN AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Jacques has lived at the same house for almost 10 years.  He is a short-haired domestic cat.  He is gray with some white markings.  He weighs 11 lbs.  He eats dried food mixed with wet food.

He was taken in as a stray animal that had been acquired by a veterinarian.  Jacques is well-cared for.  He takes no medications.  He lives indoors but is let out once a day to roam the backyard.  If he’s prevented from going outside, he will spray outside of the litterbox.  I would describe his personality as timid.  He enjoys being held and petted but is wary of toddlers (he likes to watch them from afar).

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT GINGER, PLEASE CONTACT HER OWNER AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

This is Ginger. She is a loving cat and likes to cuddle.

She uses a cat window and wears bells on her collar. She is only out during the day for her safety. The bells are for the birds’ safety!

She is two years, six months old, and very playful. She likes chest and belly pets. She was adopted by our family when she was 8 weeks old. Someone in the home has a dander allergy so we cannot live with her anymore.

She is good with kids. She warms up to other pets. She does best when they are introduced through a door. She typically keeps her distance from other animals. But she does on occasion clean the dog’s fur for him, and they have been caught cuddling too. She has lived with another kitten, a dog, and a guinea pig. She likes to be close to her person or exploring outside. She is kept inside at night to protect her from coyotes and dog fighters. She eats grain-free fish-based food from MudBay, as even the “fancy” Safeway brands lead to a hunger strike. She is in great health, and talkative.

Fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I will send her cat window with you if you are able to use it. She is truly a perfect cat.

Please contact us at 503-744-9111. Thank you 🙂

-THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER AT THE INFO PROVIDED BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS-

Hi! My name is Coco! I’m a 4yr old Toy Poodle with personality and sass. Most people think I’m a girl, but that’s okay as long as they’re willing to give me treats and belly scritches.

My elderly dog mom recently had to be moved to an assisted care facility. She left me with her son and daughter-in-law until I find another person. They can’t keep me because they have cats I like to chase and growl at, and there’s too much going on in their house.  I need a quiet home. No kids.  No cats. I can be a couch potato cuddling with you or a bouncy playmate. I bond deeply with one person and they are my world.  I like to bark a lot when I’m excited, especially on walks. I walk okay on a leash, but could use some work on reactivity to people, dogs, and animals.

I really like routine. If something changes I’ve been known to potty in the house if left alone.  I get really scared when my people leave me.

I’m a smart guy and love spending time with you getting treats, praise and attention for the silly things you keep asking me to do, like sit. I can also be a problem solver and get into stuff. I love chewing paper, am a great vacuum, and I love it when people leave food unattended.  Jackpot!

I like my spa days. I go to the groomer every 8-10 weeks. I need my ears plucked regularly and professional grooming to keep comfortable and healthy.  I’m my groomer’s favorite.  I am also super allergic to flea bites. This means I have to be on flea prevention all year round, preferably oral as topical irritate me. Expenses to consider.  I also need regular dentals under anesthesia about every 18 months.

I can be nippy with strangers especially men. Strangers scare me and always want to pick me up because I’m so cute. I do not like children at all. Especially, kids under high school age. They’re loud and unpredictable.

My foster Dad says to tell you I’m up to date on vaccines, just had my teeth cleaned in April, and am up to date on heartworm and flea prevention.

If you’re interested in meeting me please contact my foster dad at:

*THIS DOG IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT BEVERLY AT 360-609-8288 FOR MORE DETAILS*

Hi there! I’m Pippie, a sweet 9-year-old Chihuahua-mix. I am 100% lap-dog and my favorite thing is cuddling up in or next to one. If you like to have a relaxing evening in front of your TV I’m just the dog to enjoy it with you! Although I’m content to be a couch potato I LOVE my walks too, and will get very excited when I see my leash. I’m a little older, so longer walks/more strenuous activities will require a back-up mode of transport (small backpacks work well and I’ve enjoyed adventuring around in them!), but I do well on neighborhood walks and walks around the dog park. I’m fine with other pets but would do best in a home with older dogs/dogs who are very mellow. I don’t like other animals invading my personal space too much but will get used to any other pets in the home over time (including cats). Although I’ve never been aggressive or bitten I can get defensive if larger animals are overly-curious.

I’d do best in a home with a set routine, as I am special needs. I am diabetic and require 2 injections per day, after I’ve eaten breakfast and dinner. I’m also on a special prescription diet (although other prescription diets will work, as long as they are for diabetes control). I may also need glucose testing occasionally. Although I’m older, aside from my diabetes I’m a happy healthy girl! I can handle everyday obstacles like stairs and jumping up into your lap just fine, and I’ve kept my zest for life as I’ve gotten older! I am also spayed and up to date on shots. If you would like to adopt me, please contact Beverly at 360-609-8288 or scoggin7639@comcast.net

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT HEIRO, PLEASE CONTACT LAURA AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Hiero (named after Hieronymus Bosch) is an active, playful 7-year-old male cat. He loves to be around activity and did very well living with dogs in the past, as they kept him entertained. Hiero also gets on well with other cats – he occasionally bats at tails but it’s more from a place of playfulness and he does not instigate fights. As he has gotten older, I have found that he is becoming more and more interested in laps and will happily snuggle. He would do best in a child free household, as he can become a little excitable during playtime and still has his claws. This is the reason why I have to rehome him – My partner and I have started a family and do not fully trust him with small children. He has been a wonderful companion to me for 6 years, and all the adults he has lived with have loved his bright personality. Hiero is neutered, microchipped, healthy, and up to date on his vaccines.

Please contact Laura for more information or if you would like to meet Hiero: (307)-349-3304. LAURAHARTMEEKER@GMAIL.COM.
