Purr purr! Meet Ricotta! This special 10-year-old boy is curious, friendly, and loves to love. Ricotta would be elated to curl up on the couch with you for deep conversations and some affectionate head butts. He also enjoys having his marshmallow-soft fur brushed. Ricotta has a weaker immune system and so he is a little more prone to kitty colds than most cats, but he doesn’t let his sniffles get him down. He does okay with smaller pups, but not so much with other kitty boys (females might be a different story, but he’s never tried it before). He’s also sweet enough to hang with cat-savvy kids in his fur-ever home. If this inquisitive darling is your ideal companion, you can fill out an application here to set up a meet and greet. He’ll come to you neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $80.

This polka-dotted girl goes by the name of Beulah, and she’s 12 years old. She’s still as spry and youthful as ever– though she is a sensitive lady prone to upset tummies, and she needs to have the right food to feel like her best self. Beulah sports some mystical blue eyes and the twitchiest little tail you ever did see. Her hobbies include capturing mousie toys, rubbing her cute face on everything (including you!), and getting scritchies on her elevator booty. Beulah is a friend to all: gentle dogs, cat-savvy kids, and friendly kitties are all okay with her. If Beulah is the babe for you, you can fill out an application here to set up a meet and greet. She will come to you spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $80.

This super cool 12-year old boy goes by C.B., and he’s truly fascinating to look at. Those giant blue eyes aren’t Photoshopped! And if you’ve been counting toes, you’ll notice C.B. has some extra ones. He’s a guy with a strong purr-sonality, and for that reason he’ll need to be the only pet in the home (as well as the only “child” 😉). He’s a big boy, but it’s mostly muscle. If this fancy man has you intrigued and besotted, you can fill out an application here to set up a meet and greet. He’ll come to you neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $80.

This big boy is 19 pounds of love! Shrimpy he is not, despite the name– we’re going for ironic contrast here. He’s a senior guy about 13 years old who just loves to chat: he gives a mellow “mrah” when he first sees you, and will keep up the conversation indefinitely. Shrimpy is super chill and would love nothing more than to crash on your couch and get petted by you– though we do encourage plenty of exercise due to his rotund physique. 🙂 We’re encouraging him to get out and about more each day (catnip is his favorite bribe), and he does take some meds with his food to stay healthy… and he takes them like a champ, because as you can see, he enjoys food. He has lost three pounds since he has been with us here at Pixie, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down on his weight loss journey. Shrimpy’s easygoing personality makes him a pleasant friend to be around; he’s done well with other feline friends in the household, and would do well with cat-savvy kids and dogs also. Basically, he’s not fazed by much of anything. If Shrimpy sounds like the sweet cuddlebug of your dreams, you can fill out an application here to set up a meet and greet. He will come to you neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $80.

Woof! My name’s Luca and I’m a sweet boy who is 4 years old. I’m a super cute poodle / Yorkie mix and I am a wee 8 pounds. I’m good with other pups and with kitty cats, and I can also hang with kids who are 14 and older. I need a home with a stable, small breed, adult female dog to show me how to be the best pupper ever! No apartments, please. If I sound like the doggo for you, you can fill out an application here to set up a meet and greet in my foster home. I’ll come to you neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $500.

**THIS IS A COURTESY POST BEEDY IS NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY; PLEASE CONTACT LIZZIE at lizziemariebell@gmail.com**

Beedy is a 12 year old cat with a lot of personality — sweet and spicy. She has an adorable little lip curl which makes her look like a grump at times, but she’s a softy at heart. She’s a moderate-energy adult kitty who still can be rather playful, especially when a ribbon toy, laser, or catnip are in the mix! She loves getting pets under her chin and around her head, or along her body with a grooming mitt, but not on her fluffy white belly (which she loves to show off)! Beedy is a total purr machine, so you’ll know when you’re doing something she likes. She also loves to go outside and is very good at staying close and coming back home. Something to be aware of with Beedy is that she’s a cord chewer — usually with thinner cords/charging cables, I think because they’re more string-like. It’s important to keep those up and out of the way or hidden behind furniture with her around. Beedy comes to you spayed and vaccinated for an adoption fee of $100.

Chiggs is the world’s tiniest lap cat! This tea-cup kitty’s main goal in life is to find a cozy person to settle in with for the long haul. She’ll charm you with her aquamarine eyes and lustrous coat. Her gorgeousness comes with a footnote: it’s important to read her body language, because Chiggs isn’t opposed to hissing and giving some claws if her boundaries are crossed. For that reason, she is not the best fit for a family with children. Canine companions might do well, though, so long as they are cat-savvy and know when to give her space– she’s shown the doggo in her foster home who’s boss! She’s also been confident and social, and has sat on visitors’ laps. She can handle spending much of the day alone, and will even play independently… But she’d make a great companion for someone home enough to give her the attention she craves and deserves. Chiggs might even thrive in an active household with rotating people to snuggle! The more worshippers, the better. As far as medical needs go, this 11 year old is in early stages of renal failure, but could have a long life and happy retirement ahead of her. Her condition can be helped with proper diet management. Chiggs can be picky with food, so there may be some trial and error with different diets, but the right fit for her would be someone committed to keeping her happy and healthy. If you’ve got room in your heart for a special, sensitive gal, then please fill out an application to set up a meet and greet. Chiggs will come to you vaccinated, spayed and microchipped for an adoption fee of $80.

Howdy! I’m Tanji and I am a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix. At just 33lbs, I am a petite lady with a sensitive soul. A gentle approach works best with my personality, and I sure do love having a routine that I can count on.  I can be a little shy at first and it takes me a second to warm up to new people.  If you have some tasty treats, it will only take half a second.  Either way, we will soon be best buddies and I will ask for lots of snuggles, cuddles and pets.  I know how to have a good time and I have fun when playing with my toys.  Oh, how I love to pull the stuffing out. I tend to be more of a people dog, and I can be a bit selective with my dog pals.  I’m definitely not a fan of those in-your-face pups. I would be a great companion for someone who lives away from the bustling city. I am a Texan girl you see, so I am used to a quieter area where there are less noisy triggers like barking dogs and loud traffic. I tend to be a little too into chasing kitties, so I need a house without cats. I am looking for an experienced adult only home with some space and a fenced yard so I can stretch my legs and enjoy lounging in a sunny spot.  I am not a super energetic pup, but I do still have some spunk after all, and I love my walks.  Everyone that meets me says that I am sooooo sweet!  You can tell that I really crave a bond with a special person that will be my forever family. Will it be you? Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped with an adoption fee of $450.
