This sweet lil lady loves a nice bed and fuzzy blankets as you can see. She takes a little time to warm up and feel comfortable but once given a safe, loving environment she will give you affection and snuggles. Sedona is about 2 years old and would likely do best in a more calm, quiet home (no young kids, active dogs).  Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped and spayed with an adoption fee of $100.

Meet Phoebe! She is a 6 year old poodle mix who happens to be an absolute ray of sunshine. This little lady gets along well with other dogs and furry friends (her pictures are with her current foster crew!). One of her current favorite activities is licking her foster brother’s ears at bedtime. She loves a little walk in the yard where she can sniff to her heart’s content. Phoebs would thrive in a home with kids over age 8. She has some mobility issues with her hips which causes a little soreness. It’s important to note that Phoebe is a sworn enemy of hardwood floors and much prefers a comfy carpet. Phoebe is microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated, with an adoption fee of $350. If this funky, laid back little lady seems like the perfect match, then you can fill out an application here.

My name is Athena—I’m pretty, tiny, silly, and very, very, very clever. My humans tell me I am whip-smart. I am a pure-bred Mini American Shepard female (Aussie) and weigh around 15 lbs. I am almost a year old but still a baby and need to learn the ways of the world. I am a bit anxious and shy and will need some time to adjust to a new environment. But I have a TON of energy. I greet everyone I love with a big wiggle and demand that you pay attention to me and ensure that I know you are home!

I will do best in a kid-free (no kids) home with an established adult with a predictable schedule, preferably working from home, retired, or who can spend a lot of time with me and go for lots of walks and play with me. Preferred that you have experience with herding dog breeds. I also would do well in a low-noise, low-traffic area, as loud noise can make me feel nervous. The mail delivery person is loud and upsets me. I will need a fenced-in yard to spend time in, no apartments, and frequent walks to keep me out of trouble. And, as I am still a puppy, it would be great and helpful to live with a calm and confident adult male dog (over the age of 2) that could play with me and teach me how to socialize and become more confident, play with me, and lower my stress levels. I will also do well in a home with no other pets.

I am full of LOVE and have a lot to give, but I have a bit of anxiety and will need a calm, patient human who will understand me. I am very smart, and if you try to trick me, I will not respond. I need positive, science-based, humane training and reinforcement. It might take some time to build trust. ABSOLUTELY NO punishment or dominance theory training. It won’t work.

I like sitting outside, watching, taking naps, and playing ball. I want to go for walks and am terrific on a leash. I currently live with my friend, Cat, who is patient, but I like to play with him, and sometimes it annoys Cat. I like my crate when the humans leave—I feel safe. I am a slow eater, and I don’t want to be alone while I am eating.

Microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is $450.

Hey there! I’m Missy, a 10 year old Chiweenie. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster family and I’ve tried to play with my dog savvy cat foster siblings. In my ideal home, I would love another cool and confident pup to be my friend. I love to explore my neighborhood a little at a time with a brief walk and to sit outside in the sunshine. My favorite pass time is to give my foster family kisses while I sit on their lap. I do get a little spooked with loud sudden noises, so I think I would get along with older kids. I come spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and I have an adoption fee of $350. If I seem like your new best friend, fill out an application here!

Meet Liddy and Gizmo! This bonded pair of chihuahua mixes are ready for their forever home- they will be adopted out together. Liddy (red coat with white face, female, age 8 or 9) is about 12 pounds and Gizmo (tan coat with white streak on forehead, male, age 6 or 7) is about 15 pounds.
Liddy is the biggest cuddle bug around, she bonds quickly to her human and will do anything and everything to sit in their lap! She is quiet and inquisitive. Liddy is food motivated and responds quickly to her name when called. While Liddy has shown a little interest in toys, her favorite thing to do is to sit on the back cushion of the couch and watch everyone around her. She gives big hugs and kisses and warms up quickly to any humans around her.
Gizmo is a shy soul at first; keeping to himself or hiding behind Liddy until he feels safe. Once Gizmo feels comfortable, his personality blossoms! He is alert and attentive, yet rarely barks (unless one of our other dogs barks first ). Gizmo loves to play with toys, run around in the grass, and sit on the couch next to you all day long.
Both pups are potty trained, crate trained, and getting better on leash every day. There is no resource guarding or aggression noted. They sleep through the night in their crate with no issues. Liddy and Gizmo love to play wrestle and tire themselves out constantly! They are dog friendly and human friendly- unknown about cats. They LOVE having a yard or outside space to lay around in the sun. If their human works from home, then they will be in paradise! They are up to date on their vaccines and are both spayed and neutered; no known medical issues.
Liddy and Gizmo have been through a lot in their life. They were rescued in New Mexico after being abandoned with their puppies. They were transported up to the Seattle area and placed in their current foster home, their puppies were adopted out to amazing families. These two are in a foster home in Seattle and are eager to find a permanent home to call their own. Feel free to reach out to @EugeneTheSeniorDog on instagram or @WetNosesFosterPaws for more information. The adoption fee is $450 for the pair.

This little cutie is looking for his forever home. His name is Bugsy Jean, or “Bugs” or “Cuddle Bugs” for short. He just had a vet appointment and they estimate that he’s around 5 years old. He’s up to date on all his vaccinations, and clocks in at a cool 33 pounds. He enjoys older kids and other dogs, but wants to chase cats. He’s a real snuggler when he’s not playing fetch, so be prepared for some quality time on the couch. He’s currently being fostered here in Portland. Let me know if you want more info or want to set up a meet and greet. Feel free to share! He is being rehomed for a fee of $200 dollars.

Howdy!  They call me  Sausage and I’m a 10 year old male doxie mix. I’ve had a rough year. My owner passed away and then I was passed from home to home, one where I was attacked by the other dog in the home. Thankfully I found my way to the Pixie Project, where I can light up the room with my charm and good looks. Now I’m looking for a retirement home! I have some crooked legs, the vets here think I was born this way. On the bright side it doesn’t seem to slow me down much! I LOVE to run and play and take walks! I’m a pretty good cuddler as well so I would make a great Netflix pal. I’m a bit nervous with new dogs so I’d prefer either a home with no dogs or a home with a very calm and patient female dog. Do I sound like the perfect addition to your family? If I do, fill out an application here:
I come vaccinated, microchipped and neutered for an adoption fee of $350.
