Woof, my name is Mason, a Terrier mix! I’m 7 years old and deaf but that doesn’t slow me down. At only 13 pounds, I might be small but my bark sure is mighty (I can’t hear my own voice so the volume is cranked up!). Don’t worry though, I bark out of excitement and joy, and most of the time I am quiet! I’m a certified VGB (Very Good Boy) after all! I know how to shake, play fetch, and put toys back in the toy-bin. My ideal home would be predictable and mellow, and one where I can get plenty of cuddles and attention. Homebodies are my favorite people! New situations can make me a bit nervous, but once I’m comfy, I love to run around and get my energy out. If you think I might be the right dog for your family, please fill out an application today to set up a meet and greet. I come to you neutered, vaccinated and microchipped for an adoption fee of $450.

Rex is my name, retirement is my game. At 12 years old, I’m looking to settle down with a great family who wants to take me on short walks or watch me sniff around the yard. As a senior pup, I need a mellow home, and easy on the stairs please (they are not a friend to my knees)! Children 14 years old and up are alright, so long as they can keep the house senior-pup safe. In my previous home, I lived with two other dogs; I miss them and I’m doing fine without them but ideally, I can find a new friend in another sweet, adult dog during the next chapter of my life. At the end of the day, I’m just yearning to be part of a family again. So if you are ready for a distinguished gentleman to join your household fill out an application to set up a meet and greet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped and neutered for an adoption fee of $450.

Howdy! My name is Chunk and I’m excited to meet you! I am only one year old and have lots of living and learning to do. My ideal home would be with a confident, adult female dog that can show me the ropes and teach me how to socialize properly with other doggos! I’m very sweet but also sensitive, so hopefully my new sister can help me gain some confidence as well, without being too active; I have a leg issue that will likely need some ongoing rest and healing, so I need a calm environment for some TLC. Cats are alright by me, and I’ve lived with them in the past! So are children, but I prefer them to be older (over 14) and calmer. As for my home-life, I would do best in a family that can provide me with a predictable schedule, most importantly one where I won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Companionship is very important to me, and I know plenty of one-on-one time will help me learn how to potty outdoors successfully (I was allowed to potty indoors in my last home); please be patient with me! Lastly, my other must-have is a low-traffic home, which means no apartments. If you think I’m the bees-knees, please fill out an application today to set up a meet and greet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped and neutered for an adoption fee of $450.

Chirp chirp? 🐦

Oh wait no silly me, my name is Birdy but I’m not a bird, I’m something they’re calling an 18 pound “mixed breed”. I think that means I’m the perfect combination of awesome! I may be 12 years young but boy can I zoom. For this reason, I would prefer to be in a home with a big secure yard with nice tall fences for me to be my most agile and athletic self in. I also love to go on the longest walkies and I promise I walk so nice on a leash. Let me show you how speedy I can go up the stairs AND down the stairs! I sure wouldn’t mind having a hiking buddy to go to these amazing hikes in the PNW. Don’t think that my skills stop there, I’m a professional cuddler, perfect after a long day running at the beach or hiking around. I also don’t mind other doggie friends to play the day away with too. What could be better? I love to hang out and have fun with kids over 14 because sometimes my zoomies are just a tad much for the smaller humans. However, cats are still confusing for me so I may do well with a dog savvy kitty to show me that cats are friends. I’m just a happy go lucky gal looking for her forever home. If that sounds like you, Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped and spayed with an adoption fee of $450.

“Gator is a super sweet boy who loves water and playing hide and seek! He is very curious and enjoys watching birds outside, watching water run in the sink, and exploring hidden spots. He has a lot of energy and would do well with someone who has the energy to pop out and suprise him or give him a little chase once in a while. He isn’t a huge lap cat but enjoys curling up near by. Gator is pretty independent but he may get along great with another pet. Maybe not so much with kids, as he gets a little crazy when razzled up”

Aloha! I’m Tika and I’m a 4 year old, 40lb female Hound mix from the Big Island of Hawaii! I’ve traveled to the mainland thanks to some kind aunties back home and here at the Pixie Project! This is the biggest city I’ve ever been in and, to be honest, it’s a lot for me. I would do better in a quieter neighborhood with less bustle, and an apartment wouldn’t quite be the right fit for me. Back home, it seems like everyone knows everyone, so I can be initially shy when meeting new people; however, I love me some snacks and I LOVE to play ball and with other dogs so these things help me warm up! Sometimes I need a little confidence boost, so I need to go to a home with other dogs to help me find my  feet. Growing up, I didn’t always have regular meals and I definitely didn’t have fluffy toys so while I love other dogs, I don’t love sharing these things. In my ideal world I would have a brother who likes to play but doesn’t mind sharing his things. I think someone who’s active, but doesn’t mind going slow as I experience mainland life for the first time and is down to just go holoholo with me. Young children are a lot for me, and cats look fun to chase, so my perfect home will be child and kitty free. So, what do you think? Could I be the one for you? Howdy! I’m Tanji and I am a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix. At just 33lbs, I am a petite lady with a sensitive soul. A gentle approach works best with my personality, and I sure do love having a routine that I can count on.  I can be a little shy at first and it takes me a second to warm up to new people.  If you have some tasty treats, it will only take half a second.  Either way, we will soon be best buddies and I will ask for lots of snuggles, cuddles and pets.  I know how to have a good time and I have fun when playing with my toys.  Oh, how I love to pull the stuffing out. I tend to be more of a people dog, and I can be a bit selective with my dog pals.  I’m definitely not a fan of those in-your-face pups. I would be a great companion for someone who lives away from the bustling city. I am a Texan girl you see, so I am used to a quieter area where there are less noisy triggers like barking dogs and loud traffic. I tend to be a little too into chasing kitties, so I need a house without cats. I am looking for an experienced adult only home with some space and a fenced yard so I can stretch my legs and enjoy lounging in a sunny spot.  I am not a super energetic pup, but I do still have some spunk after all, and I love my walks.  Everyone that meets me says that I am sooooo sweet!  You can tell that I really crave a bond with a special person that will be my forever family. Will it be you? Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped with an adoption fee of $450.

Simmer down now before you get too excited about this adoptable kitty. Which would be in all fairness since she is such a stunner! This girl is about 9 years old and as the pictures show, a world class snuggle bug. She can’t wait to find her forever home just in time for the colder days so she can keep you warm during the winter nights. I will require a home with either no other cats or a social FIV+ kitty. Because I have FIV I must remain an indoor only cat. I’m perfectly healthy otherwise. For more information on FIV, check out this article from the Cornell Feline Health Center: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_fiv.cfm. Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, microchipped and spayed with an adoption fee of $100.
