Ciao Bella! Buongiorno! Pleased to meet you you. My name is Bella and I am a 6 year old cattledog mix who is as sweet as a cannoli! At 47 lbs, I am an adorable meatball with a big heart who is very affectionate. When I see new people, I get so excited to say hi and as soon as they start the pets, I plop down in side saddle mode and enjoy the attention. In the home, I would enjoy being with kiddos 12 and up. Though I really enjoy being outside on my walks, I am a bit environmentally sensitive which just means that busy areas with either lots of foot or car traffic can be a bit overwhelming. So I am not a big fan of downtown, but wouldn’t mind a nice quiet neighborhood or suburb where there is less going on. I am a very chill and go with the flow kind of gal. I will take pets over playing with toys, and curling up on the couch or sunbathing in the yard are my favorite activities! No kitties in my home please. I have met a few dogs here at Pixie and can be a little forward with my introduction, but I wouldn’t mind hanging with a confident mellow dog friend. I am more of a people dog anyways. I mean why play with other dogs when you can get belly rubs and tasty treats?!  I am just a happy and silly gal full of cuddles and snuggles to share with my new best friend today! Fill out an application, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped. and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

“We’re tiny, we’re tooney, we’re all a little looney!” We are Rocky and Foofa, and we are doing our best silly impressions so we can become the next Looney Toons! We would be the perfect fit after all. Our antics are so entertaining that the Pixie gals can’t help but laugh and giggle at us. We are both 8 year old Chihuahuas weighing at about 7lbs each. We have come out of our shell a lot, but we are still a little shy when we meet new people. We have to keep working on our confidence building if we want to be comedians though, and we are quick to come around with a little patience and some treats. We are very much a dynamic duo who has been with each other since we were pups, so we are pretty attached at the hip. Our act just wouldn’t work as a solo anyways, so we will stick together! We are quite the talkative pair with a lot to say. Loud and proud, and very silly, we definitely should be in a house without shared walls with neighbors in a quieter area. Not everyone loves what we have to say after all. You know those critics can be so harsh! We have met other mellow small dogs at Pixie as well as some kitties too and we don’t really mind. We may talk their ear off for a bit, but then it’s back to exploring the smells in the yard and practicing our acts. We like sitting on laps and getting lots of attention from our adult human pals. And of course we adore each other and will cuddle, snuggle, and groom each other in preparation for our big auditions. After all, it’s not everyday that you get to tryout for your forever family, so we must do everything to prepare! Anvils falling from the sky, silly voices, and roadrunners with dynamite, we will have it all in our Tiny Toons Adventure show! So fill out an application today to set up a meet with these two clowns. We come to you vaccinated, fixed, and micro-chipped with a total adoption fee of $350. –THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THESE CATS ARE NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON ZATO & ICHI, PLEASE CONTACT DONJA AT THE EMAIL BELOW–

Zato is a five years old Seal Point Siamese. He is a big boy with big paws that he likes to pet you with. He is very goofy and loves attention. He will talk to you and follow you everywhere. He loves to lay on his upside down on his back in the sun.

Ichi is a six year old Lilac Point Siamese mix. Ichi had a rough start, but in the past few years she has really learned to be a cat again…so patience with her is a must.  She might be shy at first, or hiss a little…but she will warm up on her terms. Once she does, she is such a living cat. She will love to be next to you, give you little kisses and head bumps.  She is a big girl at approx 12lbs and soft as a bunny!

Both cats are fixed and grew up together in a very loving home with no other animals and no children. So, a home without other animals or children would be best. These two buddies need to stay together, Zato is Ichi’s “comfort” animal.

If you are interested in this beautiful pair, please contact Donja at Pandorasbox6701@gmail.com

Oh hello there! Just waking up from the best afternoon nap. Ahh, so refreshing! I always have to catch up on my beauty sleep because you never know when the pupparazzi might strike. My name is Charlie and I make 13 years old look good. And fun too! At 9 lbs, I am silly and super sweet gent whose cute face is so adorable that everyone thinks I should be on all the magazine covers. Despite all the fans and popularity, I am quite the humble dude who enjoys the quiet life! Whether it’s burying myself in the blankets for a snooze or some cuddles, or if it’s enjoying the grass beneath my feet on my walks around the block, I am a simple guy who loves the simple things. My foster mom says that when I hear the word “outside” I just get so excited and wiggly. It is very cute! I can get a little overwhelmed by things like bicycles or loud trucks, so places like downtown are not ideal, and I would be much happier in a lower traffic area in town. I still sometimes like to play with toys and if you are sitting on the couch, I will set one down by your feet and look at you to throw it! The game doesn’t last very long but it is still super fun. I am very social and am happy to be around other mellow pups like myself. But I do tend to like to chase kitties sometimes, so none in my home please. I am still coming out of my shell more and more each day and greet new human friends over 12 with happy fully body wags. Sensitive, sweet and spry, I am just looking for a quiet retirement home full of snuggles, lots of love and some tasty treats too! Fill out an application today, so we can set up a meet! I come to you neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped with a dental scheduled at Pixie and recent bloodwork with an adoption fee of $350.

Boo

–THIS IS A COURTESY POST; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON BOO, PLEASE CONTACT ROBIN AT THE EMAIL BELOW–

This handsome, smart, curious and playful Boo is a delight! He can also be very calm and likes to be held and cuddled and then he’ll spontaneously break out again in play. Boo would do best in a situation where he can have his playful and curious times. I also think he’d do really well and thrive if he had another young playmate. Although he has been an indoor only cat, perhaps in the right conditions, he’d be a cat that would enjoy having a safe outdoor space in which to roam, but isn’t a requirement. He loves to climb up high and watch all that is going on. He’ll also snuggle up on the couch behind my desk or in a special corner in the closet for his nap times.

He is an 11 month old neutered male, and up to date on rabies shot and is very healthy! At this kitten stage, he is learning and growing. He has made great strides and while there is still progress to be made, he would not be a best fit with young children in the home at his stage. Someone with experience in guiding kittens into adulthood would be ideal, along with some time each day to nurture that growth. Since he was born during the year of covid, he has not had much interaction with others, so is very shy if a guest comes over. He’ll retreat to his favorite corner in the closet and then immediately returns to be with me once the guest leaves. I think that might be more about the world he’s known than necessarily a life long trait.

He never has an accident and uses his litter box very well. I clean it daily, so that helps keep it inviting. He lives now in a stress free environment. I’m going to be moving and can’t keep Boo, and I’d like to find him a stable home where he can bring you joy and also be happy and continue to grow! He would come complete with nice litter-box, a few toys he likes, and a cat carrier for vet visits.

If Boo feels like a match for you, please reach out to Robin at mntclimber@outlook.com. Since he is shy when guests come over, we could start out with a Zoom connection and you can see how he is with me.

-THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON SPOTTY, PLEASE CONTACT GWEN AT THE PHONE/EMAIL BELOW–

Spot-walla 3 legged tripod kitty is a ~5 year old fixed male. He is formerly stray and adapting smoothly to domestic life. Spotty is FIV+ and must be *indoors only*. Although he is FIV+ he is quite healthy and shows no sign of illness. He has a large appetite (he’ll even eat beans and avocado) and mostly lazes around. He enjoys his floor scratcher and playing with toys. He has perfect  litter box etiquette and does not if rarely “mark”. Spotty is a wild boy, but also loves to snuggle, purr and nap on your lap or bedside. No need to sugarcoat this little guy, he has a lot of love to give when he feels comfortable. His ideal living situation will be indoor only, calm environment, with loving and experienced cat owner(s) with a knowledge of FIV care,  plus vet check-ups every ~6 months. He has the ability to get along with other cats but they must be FIV+ as well and properly socialized/introduced. However he’d do best as the only cat and center of attention.

If you’d make a good forever home please contact Gwen at 503-830-9916 or ranunculaceae@gmail.com.

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON GARTH, PLEASE CONTACT BRENNAN OR FIONA AT THE PHONE NUMBER(S) BELOW–

Meet Garth, the sweetest boy! He is a neutered male, 2 years old, domestic medium hair orange tabby in excellent health. He is microchipped, fully vaccinated and up to date on monthly flea & parasite control. We’re hoping to find him a home better suited to him.
He’s a very high energy kitty and would love to be in a home with another young cat to play with him and bond with him.  He’d benefit from a companion (either feline or human) who has time to play and snuggle with him. He tries to snuggle with our older cat and dog, but they don’t tolerate his affections. He can be shy when he first meets people, but he warms up quickly and will be up on your lap & shoulder within a few days of meeting you, purring and asking for pets. He absolutely loves going outside for short adventures, but can’t be trusted around birds as he is an excellent hunter. He spends most afternoons curled up by a window – napping and watching the world go by. He may not do well in a home with an elderly cat who likes their own space or with young kids who may startle him. He’s also had a few urinary accidents around the home – but this is not a habit and he does well when his box is clean and the home is stress free.

Please consider reaching out to set up a time to meet Garth! He deserves a loving home and has endless love to give in return. Contact: Brennen at 619-629-9188 or Fiona at 858-337-1694

–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON CORA, PLEASE CONTACT SHELLEY AT THE PHONE NUMBER BELOW–

Cora was a feral that showed up on our farm and took to living under a shed. She started attacking her tail, leaving it bloody and mangled so we live-trapped her and took her to the vet where she was diagnosed with Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome, a neurological disease where her nerves attack her so she attacks back. The initial prognosis was bleak. There’s no cure and her symptoms were severe. However, we didn’t want to give up on her so started her on high-quality (freeze-dried) cat food and medication, and moved her indoors. It took a while, but Cora started healing!

Cora’s transformation has been amazing! Her tail has healed completely and she no longer attacks it. She constantly purrs, loves to be pet, and loves to play with her catnip mouse and other toys. She really can’t get enough attention! She’s become such a sweet cat. The vet estimates that Cora is between 5-8 years old. She’s passed all her vet exams, is up on her shots, and her teeth look good. Aside from her FHS issue, she’s in great health. It’s assumed at this time that she will need to continue her medication and high-quality food to manage the FHS.

The perfect home for Cora would be a place that’s calm (probably no kids or other pets) and where she can live indoors. A fairly regular routine is also important as she needs her meds in the morning and evening every day. (The good news is that the medication is added to her food and she eats it without a problem!) Large, unexpected noises and movements scare her, but with a little patience, she will adjust to the right home and be a wonderful, loving companion.

For more info on Cora, you can read about her at https://kerriehubbard.com/coras-story/ or contact Shelley at 503-757-6151.
