Can’t stop staring at the cutie on on the left?! That’s me, Abby! I tend to steal the limelight from my brother, but we are both pretty adorable, don’t cha think? At 2 years old and around 9 pounds, I am a small but exuberant yorkie mix. My brother, Charlie, he is a silly 9 year old shih tzu mix weighing in at 14lbs. We are one dynamic duo and it is imperative we stick together! Ok, well honestly, I am sure Charlie could do without me. But I would miss him too much and I am making sure this team sticks together. We are a hilarious comedy duo sure to make anyone smile! We especially love being around our favorite human pals over 12 and will ask for pets and attention. As you can see, I also enjoy playing with my favorite toys, so I am always up for a game of fetch! I have a little bit more energy than Charlie since I am a bit younger, but we tucker each other out by putting on our comedy sketches and routines. We enjoy our daily walks together or would be happy to catch some rays in the backyard too. No kitties in our home please! Charlie likes to flirt and play with other dogs, but if we are playing together I tend to get a little protective of him. I am his little sister after all! So we would do best as the only two pups in the home. You wouldn’t need much more entertainment than us anyways! We would love an owned home in a bit of a lower traffic area versus downtown. I just sometimes get a little nervous when performing for such big crowds. We are definitely ready to make this duo a trio and can’t wait to find our forever home where we can expand our act together! Maybe even some magic tricks?! So “Abracadabra!” and fill out your application today! We come to you fixed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated with an adoption fee of $350.

I’m Tuffy, the totally adorable 11-year-old lady cat that enjoys sunrays, window-gazing and lounging in laps, soaking up the love and warmth of my human! I’m a little, light lady with big beautiful eyes and tuffs of longer hair around my ears giving me a very striking appearance — hence my name! You might think I look a bit wild, but in reality I’m a pretty mellow kitty that is adorable, soft, and affectionate. I’ve gone through a couple of changes in the past couple of years, being bounced around a bit, so while I am definitely a kitty who seeks attention and loves to sleep on you and rub my face against you, sometimes I am a bit independent and will do my own thing and will tend to let you know when I’m feeling social. This makes me a perfect fit for someone who works regular hours and is looking for a kitty who a perfect mix of friendly and confident on her own as well. I’m mostly pretty low-key, but like any cat will definitely get the occasional zoomies and can get into playtime especially with a dangly toy or catnip banana (who doesn’t love catnip?). It’s pretty cute when I get going! My foster mom says I’m a polite kitty who uses my designated scratching boxes and will sit quietly by the table when I’m hoping for an extra snack. Though I am a gentle cat and never hiss or scratch, sometimes I am still a little bit tentative about being approached and am not a huge fan of being picked up yet, so an adult-only home would probably be ideal for me while I continue to re-build my confidence. I do have kitty asthma that is managed with a steroid medication that I take as-needed, usually every other day or so. Pixie has provided a dental and blood work for me, so I am otherwise healthy at this time. I’m very excited to meet my forever person and become someone’s best friend! Do you think I might be what you’ve been looking for? I’m currently in a foster home, so please fill out an application to meet me today! I come to you fixed, vaccinated, micro-chipped (and with recent dental and blood work already done!) for an adoption fee of $80.

Hi! Hello! Are you ready to play? I sure am! My name is Chloe and I am a beautiful 1 year old Cattle dog mix weighing just 30lbs. With a spring in my step and a mind as sharp as a tack, I am a working gal looking for an experienced owner to teach me some new tricks! It can take a little for me to warm up to my new adult friends, especially men, but once I do, I am full of hugs and kisses. I can be a lot when it comes to meeting new dogs friends and not every pup loves my play style, but I have made a few friends at Pixie that I really get along with. And they have thought me some nice manners! When I am not running around the play yard with my doggy pals, I enjoy playing fetch with some toys or playing other interactive food toys that help stimulate my active mind. I bet I would even love to do some fun nose work exercises if you could teach me! I am a rural gal through and through, so downtown city life isn’t for me and I would much rather run around some property than do walks in the city. I would need an experienced owned home in a low traffic neighborhood and outside the city would be ideal. I also would need an adult only home with no kids ( including future kiddos) or cats, but I would enjoy the company of a confident adult male dog who could keep up with me! Even after a day of activity,  I still love to curl up on the couch with you while we eat some popcorn and watch some movies. Smart, bubbly, very energetic, and oh so gorgeous, I am ready to play with you today! Fill out an application, so we can meet. I come to you vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped with an adoption fee of $350.

Sweet, cuddly and so darn cute, my name is Lola and I am a 10 yo Husky mix weighing in about 60 lbs. Being a little bit older, I am a fairly easy going and mellow gal with a heart of gold! My foster mom says I adore my daily walks and love taking in all the smells of the world. But by far my favorite activity is naps! Snoozing and naps. Naps and snoozing. I really enjoy being around my human pals over 10 as they give me yummy treats and lots of pets! And if you hit the right spot, well I will even melt into a puddle begging for a full on belly rub! My foster says I am a quiet and proper lady, often times giving you a “curtsy” while stretching my legs. You might notice my eye is missing or maybe just really tiny, and the vet said it was just something I was born with. But it doesn’t bother me at all and definitely doesn’t shine down my confidence, as I am one happy lady! Nothing can bring me down! I have met other dog friends and seem to really like the mellow pups like myself. No kitties in my home please! I am just a simple gal who loves treats, snoozing and bellyrubs, and would really love to find my forever family today! Fill out an application, so we can set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

Hi there! My name is Annabelle and I am a sassy and utterly adorable 7 yo Pom-chi weighing 9 lbs. If you are looking for snuggler who needs you as much as you need them, well I am your gal! I love being around my adult human pals, especially when they give me lots of skritches and belly rubs. My foster family says I am very coy and smart, and will do just about anything for some tasty treats! I will even hang out under your feet when you are cooking to make sure I catch any tasty morsels that might fall to the ground. I can be a little bit picky with my doggy friends, and have lived with a doggy my size in the past. He was very chill and mellow though, and that is more of my style. None of this puppy like energy business! I didn’t seem to pay too much attention to the office cat at Pixie, so a confident dog savvy kitty in the home would be ok. As long as I can be the one that gets to sleep in your lap during movie night, I am a happy camper. I can sometimes be a little vocal when I express myself, so I would do best in a low foot traffic owned home. I always like to follow my nose when I am out on my daily walks, sniffing out the next adventure. But then it’s back inside for some more cuddle time under the warm blankets! Silly, inquisitive, and oh so sweet, I am so ready to find my forever person today. Fill out an application today to set up a meet. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed with an adoption fee of $350.

Daphne is looking for her retirement home. She is approximately 10 years old. We adopted her from the Long Beach Humane Society when she was 4 years old and do not have information about her life prior to us. She is a German Shepard mix- we think some cattle dog and/or Jack Russell.  We are sad to be rehoming her, as she is an incredibly loving and sweet companion. We are looking for a home that will offer her more calm and quiet, realizing that our current family life with a toddler makes it difficult for us to meet Daphne’s needs. She is a people person, prefers to be the only dog in a quiet house. She could integrate with a larger breed dog, preferably male; no other dog reactive dogs. Her ideal home would be with adults who spent time at home, large yard or acreage is best, low foot traffic as Daphne reacts to other dogs against fences or passing her property. She only needs short walks every day due to some mild arthritis in shoulders and hips; loves to sniff and hunt for squirrels. Dog savy cat would be OK. She is gentle with kids but will be happier in a family w/o kids. We are asking a $200 rehoming fee.

Hi! My name is Eddie and I’m a nearly 7-year old Dachshund/hound mix weighing around 11 pounds. One of my favorite things to do is snuggle in next to you on your lap, especially if you also wrap me in a fuzzy blanket. I love, love, love balls! I love to chew on them, have you throw them for me, and I’m getting better at bringing them back. I also love to play tug-of-war with ropes, braided blankets and tugs. If you’re lonely, I’ll chat with you, especially around meal or treat time. I have a cute little chat and I’m certain you’ll understand every word.
I have great manners. I know sit, stay, and I’m learning lay down. I let my people through the door first, and I feel very comfortable on a leash.
I really don’t like to share your lap or your home with other dogs, cats or children under the age of 12. If I absolutely must share, I’d prefer to make friends with a confident cat who lets me go my way while they go their way.
People say I’m super smart! I learn new things quickly, especially when enticed with treats. I need someone who is willing to keep up on expanding my socialization skills with consistency and training as I get a little too excited seeing and meeting new people and pets. In fact, it would be best if I had a home that was on a quiet street so I can relax and not have to worry about people passing in front of windows all the time or lots of noise from the street.
I have some joint pain and anxiety, but with my meds I’m not as nervous, not in pain, and jump about 3 feet in the air off all four legs when I’m over-the-moon happy. I also have vasculitis which just means the edges of my ears can get crusty. I’m on an inexpensive, safe medication that has made my ears–one of my best features I might add–soft and supple.
I have so much love to give. I just need to find the right, forever, home. To inquire about me, please send an email to adopteddiefuller@gmail.com, or contact my foster mom, Micki, at 503-805-9305. Please leave a message if she doesn’t answer. If you’re interested in adopting me, please download and fill out a Pixie Project application and email it to adopteddiefuller@gmail.com. I come to you vaccinated, micro-chipped, and neutered with an adoption fee of $200. The adoption fee will be donated to training sessions with Denise at Behave to help ease Eddie’s transition. I also come with my medications and all veterinary records.
