This female tabby is 1-2 years old and full of pep when she plays! She chases her da bird feather toy throwing herself high in the air, and runs fast across the room when she has the zoomies. She enjoys her various toys especially hide and seek with one under a blanket. When relaxed, she craves having her head pet and chin and cheeks scratched and throws herself onto the floor next to her foster’s lap for more pets. She loves churu which she licks off her foster’s finger and she now meows to show she is happy when her foster enters the room.
Mabel has had many changes in the past few months and will need time to settle in. She has come to trust her foster but is fearful of new people. She will need a patient and experienced adopter who knows to follow her cues. Mabel will hide and be afraid at first but will gradually emerge because she really craves affection and human connection.
Mabel will bond closely with a new owner when they gain her trust. It has been incredibly rewarding to see this scared kitty blossom in foster. With time, she will become a devoted pet.
Mabel is a pretty kitty and is lean and athletic. We have no history of her being with other pets and believe she would thrive as an only pet. Most of all, Mabel is a cat who will really love her human.
