Rico is an amazing dog in Portland, OR who is looking for his forever home!

Rico is a year old Rottweiler/Husky mix who weighs 60 pounds. He’s a social and curious fellow who knows know how to respect boundaries with other animals and people. Rico currently lives with a small dog and a cat who he gets along with just fine. He definitely has husky energy, so he’s a sweet silly guy that will make a great adventure partner for anyone who loves the outdoors. 

For his next adventure in life, Rico would do wonderfully in a home with dogs, cats, or kids. He has no displays of possessiveness or aggression, and loves going for walks – but he’s great at just hanging around the house as well!

Prior to his life here in Portland, Rico lived near Redding, California and was a treasured companion to a friend who could no longer care for him due to a change in circumstances. Aside from one more follow-up shot, Rico has a clean bill of health and will come to you neutered and up-to-date on all of his vaccines. Copies of his vet records are available.
