Newton is a beautiful, gentle, loving purr-ball seeking a forever home. He has been fostered with his litter mates since 4 months of age and is the last to find his home. Now 10 months old, he is very well socialized and friendly having spent months with his siblings. He loves being involved when you are cooking, ironing clothes, stretching, taking a nap, even quilting!  If you really must have your lap to yourself while you sew or read, he is content with a nearby chair cushion or space on the couch (next to you, of course!).  He is very quiet 99.9% of the time and still has his ”kitten voice.”  When you start brewing morning coffee without him, however, he will call out to be freed from his guest room. Don’t misunderstand, he would much prefer sleeping with (or between) you in the master bedroom. He loves window perches, spongy balls, flying feather toys, and catnip cigars. He has a lovely purr and thrives-thrives-thrives on attention, pets, and sweet conversation.  All the better if you’re a ”gusher”!  This boy would welcome a feline housemate, and will not display aggression. Although nearly grown, he is rather bullied by an older male in his foster home. Despite his meekness, a bold little tortoiseshell only half his size would not share her home and humans with him and chases ensued. Newton is more likely to disarm another cat with affection than pose a threat. Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped, Newt comes with his own carrier, toys, and current food samples.
