Chiggs is the world’s tiniest lap cat! This tea-cup kitty’s main goal in life is to find a cozy person to settle in with for the long haul. She’ll charm you with her aquamarine eyes and lustrous coat. Her gorgeousness comes with a footnote: it’s important to read her body language, because Chiggs isn’t opposed to hissing and giving some claws if her boundaries are crossed. For that reason, she is not the best fit for a family with children. Canine companions might do well, though, so long as they are cat-savvy and know when to give her space– she’s shown the doggo in her foster home who’s boss! She’s also been confident and social, and has sat on visitors’ laps. She can handle spending much of the day alone, and will even play independently… But she’d make a great companion for someone home enough to give her the attention she craves and deserves. Chiggs might even thrive in an active household with rotating people to snuggle! The more worshippers, the better. As far as medical needs go, this 11 year old is in early stages of renal failure, but could have a long life and happy retirement ahead of her. Her condition can be helped with proper diet management. Chiggs can be picky with food, so there may be some trial and error with different diets, but the right fit for her would be someone committed to keeping her happy and healthy. If you’ve got room in your heart for a special, sensitive gal, then please fill out an application to set up a meet and greet. Chiggs will come to you vaccinated, spayed and microchipped for an adoption fee of $80.
