Benji is a 4 year old black German Shepherd who weighs 110 lbs. In his perfect world, he would have a snow, beach, or hiking adventure day everyday! He’s affectionate, smart, goofy and loyal. Rarely barks. Benji has grown up with cats and loves to hang around them, even if he sometimes forgets his own size. He has never lived with another dog before, but he warms up to other dogs with time and care.He is nice to everyone he encounters, young and old. Do you need a shoulder to cry on? He will offer you his paw, snuggle beside you, or nudge you with his snout. He will truly be your best pal. While he has lived in an apartment situation with no problems, his ideal adopters would have a fenced backyard to he can run outside all day long. Benji does experience mild separation anxiety so he would do best indoors with someone who works from home or is not away for too long. He knows a list of many tricks, let him show you them!
