Hi everyone! My name is Skippy and at one year old, I am a young, energetic, and handsome Yorkie mix. Weighing around 22lbs, I am a little bit larger than your average smaller terrier, but I am still the perfect lap sized companion. Being a young pup, I am full of that high drive terrier zestyness and spunk, often wanting to play fetch with my favorite toys in the backyard. Though I am still getting used to the idea of a harness, once it gets on, I am ready for a walk around in a quiet setting. I am very exuberant and playful when meeting my dog friends, and really need another friend in my home who will want to run around and get out all this extra energy! I tend to be a little forward with kitties, so I think it would be best if there were no cats in the home. I take pretty quick to training since I am so food motivated which is great since I still need to learn a lot of the basics. My foster says I like to kick my feet up and lay on my back while I rest and relax after a long day of excitement! It’s pretty darn cute. I can sometimes be a little vocal and am still getting used to long departures, so a house in a quieter area without shared walls with neighbors and shorter work days are ideal. I am always happy to great new people friends, but would do best living in an adult only home.
