*BACON AND MONTY ARE NOT BEING RE-HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT JULIA AT julia_shipley@yahoo.com*

Hi there! Our owner passed away and so we’re looking for a new home.

This is Monty, people say I’m probably about 7 but nobody knows for sure – I came through the humane society’s second chance program and my story is a mystery. I’m not really very mysterious though, I’m a friendly guy and my owner said I’m not afraid of much at all! My mom liked to call me Montezuma or Monty go zoom zoom, because I love to run around. I do have a sensitive stomach (IBD) but have done well on the right diet and if I don’t sneak any human food. I also had to have a lot of dental work a few years ago and am missing some teeth but eat wet or dry food with no issues. My vet says it’s looking okay in there right now.

When I came to live here, I met my best friend Bacon. He isn’t so bright, so I try to at least keep him looking good with regular grooming. Even though he’s older (13), Bacon is a great playmate and down for a good wrestling match. Like I mentioned, he’s not very bright. He sometimes chases his own tail, but maybe that will save you money on cat toys! He can be a bit of a scaredy cat, and doesn’t like meeting new people like I do. Just give him some time and soon you’ll never have an empty lap! We both like snuggles. Bacon is quite affectionate and I’m more of a typical cat who will let you know when I’m done. We love to curl up together in the sunbeams or next to the fireplace. Check out how cute we are!

We would do best in a home without small children or dogs.

Indoor-only, neutered, and microchipped.

Vet records available.

Bacon is due for a vet exam. Monty last seen March 2021.

Beautiful driftwood cat tree, litterbox, and other supplies available.
