Sweet Selly here! I’m a gorgeous, exotic-looking brown tabby kitty that is just 4-years-old. I am a shy girl at first, that will really open up and become quite the playful, curious character once I’ve had time to get to know you! Once that trust is built, I will thoroughly enjoy your attention, and even flop over for belly rubs! I also enjoy company and will run up to greet new people as soon as I’ve had time to settle in my space and will rarely run away from the opportunity to make a new friend. Speaking of friends, I’m a wonderful companion that generally wants to be near you and will follow you around the house when you’re home. I am also more than happy to chase you around the house with a long stringy toy, and gallop around on my own tossing around toy mice and birds or chasing flies when you’re busy! I can be fairly independent if you’re busy, and wouldn’t mind someone who had to work outside the home and leave me alone for longer hours. I’ll just ask for a snuggle when you get home and when we’ve really bonded, I’d love to sleep by your legs at night like the loyal best friend I know I can be! I’m a quiet and easy-going girl that would prefer a similar home. While I like to be close and will allow belly rubs and but scratches, I’m not a big fan of being picked up and I’m not at all used to loud kid energy — I’m actually easily startled still at times and can feel a little insecure until I’ve had a chance to settle. I’m looking for a patient new owner who will be understanding of my warming-up process, and I’d also really love a feline friend to bond with as well! Other cats seem to help me feel more comfortable, and I’d make a wonderful new friend for another cat who might enjoy my company. I’m perfectly fine living entirely indoors and am used to the apartment lifestyle. I am also a healthy kitty with no medical issues. I am currently on a very cheap anti-anxiety medication which I eat in my food to help me through my next transition while I continue to build my confidence in a new home.
