This is Hops. Friends call him Hopsy Bopsy! He is 9 years old and loves to have his chin scratched and his chest rubbed. He is a very affectionate purr ball who is often making muffins and shakes his tail like a rattlesnake when he rubs up against you. He is gentle and does not bite or scratch even when he is being fussed with for routine nail trimmings. He is accustomed to sleeping at the foot of the bed and spends most of the day gazing out of his favorite window. He is an indoor cat and is in good health although he was treated for a UTI about 6 months ago and is now on a special diet to prevent future urinary issues (Adult Urinary & Hairball Control Chicken Recipe Dry Cat Food). He is a big scaredy-cat and does take some time to warm up to new people. He is not a fan of vacuums or dogs. He would be happiest in a home where he will be the only pet and his new owner is patient about getting to know him, allowing him a quiet place to hide when he is feeling nervous.
