–THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING; THIS CAT IS NOT BEING HOMED THROUGH THE PIXIE PROJECT. FOR MORE INFO ON SWEET WILLIAM, PLEASE CONTACT KIMBERLEE AT PURRL PAWS RESCUE AT THE EMAIL BELOW–

Sweet William (9-years-old) has been through the wars. Once a loved indoor cat, he was abandoned to fend for himself on the streets for 3 years. He fought off raccoons to protect his females and their kittens in a feral colony in Salem. His battle scars for those heroics left him with a damaged eye (now healed), a ruptured eardrum (he has a jaunty head tilt for life and is deaf in that ear) and a large gash in his chest (also healed-see pic). Sweet William was rescued and had extensive dental work, medications, love, compassion and kennel rest for months. He is now a sweet and affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to sleep in his bed and be loved in a quiet and calm home. When he gets stressed, he gets sores on his chin and lips and his head tilts even more. When he is loved and feels safe, his head tilt is ever so slight and no stress sores (not contagious at all). Sweet William has a plastic allergy , so food/water bowls will need to be metal, ceramic or glass. He is an adorable boy who has a wealth of appreciation to show someone who can be his hero and give him a quiet and safe, indoor-only, furever home. He doesn’t need anything more than good food, water, a litter box (he is pristine with his litter box use! No spraying!), his igloo bed where he feels safe to sleep, and love. Neutered, all vaccinations up to date, dewormed, de-flea’d, microchipped, recent blood work looks great and has had a recent dental.

If you have room in your heart and home for Sweet William, please reach out. The cost for adoption is $100.00 to help offset the Veterinary Bills for his rescue. He is currently in a Foster Home in Silverton. PurrlPawsRescue@gmail.com
