Hello! My name is Christie and well, we could talk all day about how gorgeous I am, but you probably want to know a little more about me. At 2 years old and around 8 lbs, my breed mix is a mystery but the best guess is a Doxie/Papillion mix. I am a sensitive lady, but once I get to know my human pals, I am very much a cuddler and will nap on your lap, enjoying a shoulder massage. Since I can take a second to warm up to new people, I would need a quiet adult only home with no kiddos or potential for future kiddos. My foster mom says I am a very smart girl and have already learned so much! She is also a trainer and has been teaching me this fun “find the treat game”. It’s so enriching and I would be delighted if someone continued teaching me nose work. I also like to play fetch with squeaky toys or a ball. Though I do enjoy walks, I can be barky at new things such as people or bicycles or doggies, so I need an owned home with either a yard to play in or located a quiet suburban area with not a lot of foot traffic to practice my leash manners. Don’t forget-I am a quick learner and already know things like sit, down, crawl, love my crate, and will even give you a little dance for my meals! Cats are not really my style, but I need another mellow male doggy in my home to help me build my confidence. The trainer even introduced me to a big chill lab and I wanted to follow him around the entire time! Speaking of following, I am using my nose to sniff out the clues, will they lead me to you?!
